*** January 2026 update -- moving out to California for the winter from Connecticut! Looking forward to meeting new pets and pet parents ! ❤️ Hi!! My name is Steph! I am a registered nurse but I love to pet/house sit and walk dogs on the side ! I also just got pet CPR and first aid certified (see in my pictures)!! I would love to help you out and care for your dog(s), cat(s), any animal! As a registered nurse, caring, kindness, reliability, and good communication are all in my nature. I am conveniently located in Palm Desert and can service areas in a 20 minute radius! I can travel outside this radius for a travel fee. I offer dog walking, drop in visits, overnight house sitting, and I can accommodate doggy day care in my home. I am happy to provide house sitting because it allows your pets be comfortable at home versus in an unfamiliar and scary kennel. It also gives you peace of mind knowing they are happy and safe at home and that your home is being responsibly cared for. My style of housesitting is making your home my new home base for the length of the booking. I work three overnight (11pm-7am) shifts a week. So other than work, errands, check ins on my house and family, I will be at your house with your pets :) I can also dog sit/doggy day care (smaller-medium dogs) at my house. I only take up to two dogs from the same family at a time, so they will get my full attention and you won't have to worry about how they may get along with other dogs! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Steph! This was my first time ever leaving Happy with someone I didn’t know and allowing anyone into my home while I was away, so I was definitely nervous. Steph COMPLETELY put my mind at ease from day one. She kept me updated every single day with pictures and messages, and I could tell Happy was happy, comfortable, and so well cared for. He even took his medication on a regular basis for her which at times he can be very stubborn about. Steph truly went above and beyond—not only taking amazing care of Happy, but also bringing in my mail and packages every day and even making sure my garbage cans were brought back in. Those little things meant so much to me while I was away! I was able to actually relax and enjoy my trip knowing Happy and my home were in such good hands. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust and will absolutely be booking with Steph again. Happy and I can’t wait to have her back! ❤️🐾
Stephanie was amazing with my kitties! I have two cats with varying medical needs, and Stephanie rose to the challenge with no issues. She adapted to deal with my hard-to-pill fussy cat, and had no reservations about caring for our senior kitty with incontinence issues. She was always prompt and communicative. I was able to have a relaxing long weekend away thanks to her.
I booked Stephanie for second time because of her love and care of my kitties. This time I added my in laws dog and she was more than happy to help with them. She feed them, play with them and cuddle with them. She's very respectful and friendly also very helpful and knowledgeable and courteous and caring. And I'll ask for her service anytime time I need her.
Steph was soo amazing and such a sweetheart with my dogs. My Bella is weary of people but warmed up to Steph extremely fast. Her updates and photos of our dogs during her visits made it all the more heartwarming and comforting knowing they’re in good hands. Definitely highly recommend and will be coming back when needed. Stephanie was amazing with my dog Remi! She was so communicative and sent plenty of photos and updates throughout his stay. Remi had a great time and I would trust Stephanie with his care again any time!

Safety, trust & environment
I follow the feeding schedule/any instructions you provide. Fresh water given frequently. I make sure using the bathroom is a priority, so for dogs, being let outside as much as possible, for cats, clean litter box(es). All medications are given safely. I make sure I spend quality time with your pet. Whatever their needs are.... Playing, cuddling/petting, going for walks, treats, etc, I make it happen ! I make certain your pets are safely inside and your house is secure before I leave.

A typical day
Lots of outdoor time ! We can walk around the neighborhood, play in the yard, go for drives to near by parks or trails for walks. We can cuddle and nap and have lots of pets and relax inside too !
