About: When I was growing up I had two cats: Stanley (a black tuxedo boy) and Celeste (a calico longhair girl). Since then I’ve become a cat grandmother🙂 Now my daughter and her husband american shorthair yellow cats are really part of my family too. “Saori watched our two dogs in her house and paid home visits to our two cats. Unfortunately, a couple of days into the booking, our dogs started having diarrhea and the female was vomiting. We requested that Saori take them to our vet. Luckily, testing revealed nothing serious, Saori gave the dogs their meds, and they recuperated after fluids at the vet. They got to swim in her pool, went to the dog park, and other adventures. Saori also got the thankless task of cleaning up a mouse carcass that Vinny left, as well as some piles of vomit. Saori went above and beyond when caring for our pets. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her in the future.”

They have full range and free access to the downstairs, except we discourage them being in the kitchen. Our dogs are kept from the upstairs by a secured baby gate. They are allowed up there, just usually attended because the puppy sometimes confuses her human sisters toys for her own! We have a large property with a trail that we take our dogs up to, and also live very close to several hiking trails that we frequent. About: I’ve always had pets growing up. Over the past 20 years I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, turtles, snakes, and hamsters. I love animals more than most humans. My sister is also a vet which is super handy to have. I currently work from home so I can be present and then I have down time I can play and tend to my furry house guest. I have a room for my dogs with a very bring crate, beds and toys. When I have furry guests I can always alternate my dogs in the room or the furry guest into that room. They could also wonder around the apartment as well. My building complex also has a dog park which is nice to run around and play.

About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation.My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.

I prefer to not stay at a clients home full time for days in a row, however again I can be flexible with the circumstances :) I live in an apartment complex that is animal friendly, I am a little OCD so my place is kept pretty tidy. I have a terrier/mix Cooper and a cat Reid who free roam the apartment at all times we have never had to crate either of them, but can if necessary(Also can separate cat if your pet isn’t cat friendly). Both are fed and cooper is walked relatively at the same times everyday, and are up to date on their exams & vaccinations (paperwork available). In other clients home I make it my priority to respect the wishes of the client. I understand everyone has their own way of doings things and that’s completely okay! I always keep my front door locked at home so I am very good at remembering to lock up after I leave.

About: I’ve been welcoming other people’s dogs into my home for more than 20 years. It started because I knew firsthand how hard it was to leave my own dog when I traveled. I wanted there to be another option for people like me—people who couldn’t imagine leaving their dog in a kennel but also weren’t comfortable having someone stay in their home. What began as something I offered to friends became something I genuinely love doing. There’s something very special about watching a dog arrive in an unfamiliar place, helping them settle in and trust me, and eventually seeing them stretched out on the couch or curled up beside me as though they’ve always lived here. I still miss them when they go home. I board dogs from only one family at a time because I want their stay to feel less like boarding and more like their own vacation. While they’re here, they live with me as part of my household. I work from home and structure my days around them, so they have plenty of companionship and frequent access to my fully fenced yard. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from very small dogs to dogs over 100 lbs, as well as puppies and seniors. They’re welcome on my furniture and, if they sleep with their people at home, they’re welcome to sleep with me. I don’t routinely crate dogs, but I’ll maintain a dog’s crate routine if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I require a Meet & Greet before accepting a new dog because I want your dog to be comfortable with me, my home and my dog—and I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving them with me. After more than 20 years, the reason I do this hasn’t changed. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is enjoying theirs, too—living in a home, getting affection and companionship, and being cared for by someone who understands just how much they mean to you. While your dog is in my care, I structure my days around them. I work from home, have my groceries delivered and generally don’t schedule activities that require me to leave them alone. There’s no rigid boarding schedule here—their normal routine becomes part of mine. Whether they want to follow me around the house, nap beside me while I work, play, cuddle or head into the fenced yard, they have companionship throughout the day. While your dog is with me, I treat them as one of my own, with the same love, attention and care I give my own dog. Before a dog stays with me for the first time, I require a Meet & Greet with my dog so we can make sure they’re comfortable together before you leave your dog in my care. I board dogs from only one family at a time, so there aren’t unfamiliar boarding dogs constantly coming and going. My yard is fully fenced, and while your dog is here, I follow your instructions for feeding, medications and normal routines. I don’t crate dogs unless their family specifically requires it as part of their normal routine.
