I’m usually available during morning, afternoon, and evening time blocks, and I do my best to plan visits in a way that gives each pet enough time, patience, and attention. I’m also happy to discuss your pet’s usual routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. In a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, litter areas, water bowls, and anything the owner tells me is important. I also like to know about each pet’s temperament, triggers, hiding spots, leash behavior, and comfort level with new people so I can keep the visit safe and calm. For walks, I make sure pets are securely leashed before leaving the home and avoid unnecessary interactions with unknown dogs or people unless the owner says otherwise. I’m patient with shy, nervous, excited, or slower-to-warm-up pets, and I’d rather move carefully than rush them. I’ll also send clear updates, so you know how your pet is doing.
About: My experience with dogs spans from dog sitting to working at vet hospitals. I have owned large dogs since I was young this let to me sitting for neighbors and people around town. I have experience with dogs as young as 8 weeks old to seniors who needed a little extra care. My veterinary experience means that I can provide basic medical care if needed. I will take care of your pet as if it was my own! I am currently a college student looking for a way to work with animals while at school. I am fairly flexible with time as my classes are spread out which is conducive to visiting during the day as well as dog walking if needed. It also means I’m available on most weekends and open to staying at the house with your pet. I am looking to provide the best care to you and your pet! I make sure to be attentive to both the clients wants for their animals as well as learning the animals personality in order to provide the best care. I will also make sure to keep the clients home clean and abide to any household rules that they would like be to follow. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered rescue puppies for five years now. I have also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for two years. “Wow, Valerie was amazing. I knew my dogs and cat were in good care. She sent us photos throughout the ENTIRE stay and it made me feel so comfortable. My family was worried about leaving our pets with a 'stranger' but Valerie didnt feel like that to us. Her property was GORGEOUS! and had so much room for the puppies to run around and play. “Dan and his parents did an excellent job caring for Jessie, our 7 year old Golden Retriever. After meeting them, we felt confident that we could trust them to keep her safe and care for her properly. They went out of their way to make sure Jessie felt at home and treated her like one of the family. She enjoyed long walks and lots of cuddle time! I like that they only board one dog at a time so they were able to give her their undivided attention. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was in their loving and competent care. About: I have had dogs and cats ever since I can remember. Since I was a kid, I have always taken care of them- making sure they are well-fed always, groomed, happy, and healthy! I currently have a really flexible schedule because I’m home from school and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets! I’m available for overnight stay, drop-ins walks, and daytime care throughout most weekdays and weekends! Your pets safety and comfort are always my top priority! I have a loving dog and 2 kitties at home to keep them comfortable, but if they are more shy I have a large yard I can take them on walks and play in, and can house them in my large bedroom and make sure they are extremely comfortable!
