“Jasmine did a great job with our schnauzer. She took him for walks and kept us in the loop with texts and pics without going overboard. I think Murphy was sad when we got home!”

About: Hi! I’m Alyssa :) I’m a huge animal lover and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’ve been caring for animals for years, especially dogs and cats, but I also have experience with fish, rabbits, and birds. I used to work for a professional dog-walking company, Thumping Tails, where I worked with 40+ families. I handled everything from walks and feedings to cleaning up, playtime, and just giving pets the attention they need while their owners are away. Even after leaving, a lot of those families have stayed in touch and still trust me with their pets, which means a lot to me. I’m happy to provide references if needed! I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs and have worked with different breeds (small to large, you name it), from puppies to seniors, varying energy levels, and even pets with disabilities or special needs. I also have experience giving medications when needed. I’m a cat owner myself, so I totally get that every cat has their own personality. I’ve worked with friendly cats, shy ones, and the “I’ll come to you when I’m ready” types. I’m very patient and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I offer walks (quick, short, or long), drop-ins, playtime, and can even help with pet socialization if that’s something you’re looking for. I’m also happy to just stop by to give your pet some love and attention. Right now I’m not offering boarding, but I do have experience with house sitting through both freelance work and my previous company. I’m easygoing, reliable, and really pay attention to the little details on whatever instructions you leave, I’ll follow them closely to keep your pet happy and comfortable. Feel free to reach out anytime! And if I’m ever unavailable, I have some great, trustworthy connections I can refer you to. Hope to meet you and your pets soon! — Alyssa 🐾 I currently work full time M-F 9am-6pm, but am available early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. If close to me, I can stop in during my lunch break which I am always happy to do. My schedule can be flexible, so with proper planning I can accommodate a day time walk during the week! I care for pets exclusively in their own home, where they feel safest and most comfortable, and I focus on keeping their routine consistent and stress‑free. My services include dog walking tailored to each dog’s pace and preferences; feeding and refreshing water exactly as instructed; administering medications with care and clear documentation; maintaining clean, tidy litter boxes; and providing socialization and enrichment through play, cuddles, or calm companionship based on each pet’s personality. During house‑sitting visits, I follow all home instructions, keep your space secure, and can also bring in mail, water plants, take out trash, and ensure everything is locked and cared for before I leave, all while sending you updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: Hi, I’m Dagmar - a trusted Greenwich local with 20 years of pet care experience. My love for pets began in Germany, caring for family cats and grew as I looked after dogs of all breeds and ages for families, friends and long-term clients. I specialize in attentive, one-on-one dog care, including dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I'm patient, reliable, and treat every pet as my own making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. For dogs, I offer structured walks tailored to their energy level - from quick potty breaks to longer neighborhood walks and fun park visits. For cats, I provide thoughtful drop-in care including feeding, fresh water, litter maintenance, playtime, and companionship. I work from home in downtown Greenwich, which allows me to be flexible, responsive, and available seven days a week. You can count on me for dependable care, clear communication, and regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Living downtown Greenwich and working remotely allows me to offer flexible dog walking, drop-in visits throughout the week, with house sitting care available on weekends typically from Friday through Monday. Extended or full-week house sitting can also be arranged upon discussion. When caring for pets, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I carefully follow each pet’s established routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and preferred play or rest times. I’m respectful, tidy, and follow your instructions closely. I always provide updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is receiving attentive, loving care.

“Catie did an amazing job house sitting for us and administering oral meds for our senior cat while we were away for 10 days. We felt very comfortable with her and knew our Lily was in caring hands—came back to a happy, healthy cat and spotless home! Thank you Catie!”
“Andrea is every fur baby mom’s dream sitter. She’s timely, responsible, and loving. Every day I was given multiple updates about how my babies were doing and what they did that day. It eased my mind so much knowing they were safe, loved, and more than well taken care of. I could not recommend Andrea more!”

“We have just returned from a three day getaway, and Nicole stayed with our dog Buster. She is excellent! This was our first time leaving our dog for more than one night and I had a lot of anxiety about it. Nicole took wonderful care of Buster! She was in touch shortly after we left, with photos and an update. This continued throughout our trip. Nicole was easy to reach and always happy to give me some news about Buster. When we returned, Buster was very relaxed and happy. In addition, our house was so clean and neat! Now that we know Nicole, we are confident about booking more trips, knowing that Buster has a great caregiver!”

“Aaliyah stayed in our home for 4 nights watching our cat and dog - she was truly unbelievable and made us feel at ease while traveling. She sent constant updates, photos, videos and went above and beyond to take care of our pets and to make sure we felt comfortable. She left our home spotless, took in our packages and was very responsive. Our pets are excited to see Aaliyah again!”

About: I grew up with two Labs (one chocolate and one yellow), so being around dogs has always just felt like part of life. I’m used to everything from long walks and high energy to just hanging out and keeping them company. I’m pretty calm and pay attention to each dog’s personality—some want to play nonstop, some need a slower, more gentle approach, and I’m good at adjusting to that. I’m also comfortable with bigger dogs and making sure walks feel safe and under control. I just genuinely love being around dogs and want them to feel relaxed and happy while you’re away. I’m currently at home working on my master’s dissertation, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily plan my day around pet care. I’m available for walks, drop ins, or longer visits throughout the day. I’m also very consistent and reliable with timing, especially if your pet is used to a specific routine. I take safety really seriously and always make sure things like leashes, doors, and gates are secure so pets are safe at all times. In your home, I’m very respectful and clean as I was raised with a “leave no trace” mindset, so I’ll always leave things exactly how I found them. I also really value routine in my own life, so I’m mindful about sticking to your pet’s schedule and following any instructions closely. I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet (and your home) are in good hands.
“We had the pleasure of hiring Tara to house and puppy sit for us for a week while we went on a vacation. Tara was terrific. She is a mature and responsible young woman who I highly recommend. Tara is very knowledgeable about dogs as she works at a Vet hospital. Tara is warm and friendly and is very accommodating. We were stuck for an extra day on vacation due to bad weather and she took care of everything. She communicates well. Gave us regular reports and photos. We will hire her again.”

“Jennifer took great care of our puppy while we were away for the weekend. When we came back, he was happy yet calm, which makes me feel like she was a great comfort to him while we were away. She sent updates every day (just the right amount of communication- neither too much nor too little). Our home was exactly as we had left it- so Jennifer did an excellent job of keeping him from destroying our house ☺️”

“Brynne was wonderful. She took great care of my fur babies and gave me peace of mind while I was away. She checked in regularly and sent pics. Everyone loved her! I will definitely use her services again!!”

“Claudia was very professional and communicative. She did a great job keeping us updated on our kitty while we were gone. She left our house in a great condition too!”

“Marissa was just wonderful to our two senior pups. She was a last minute hire after another house/dog sitter cancelled. The pups took to her immediately, and their instincts were right: we couldn't have left them in better hands. Marissa communicated with us regularly (we were traveling internationally) and handled an issue with the house responsibly and without upsetting us unnecessarily. We came home to happy, relaxed pups who didn't seem at all stressed by our absence. They clearly felt safe with their sitter. We would definitely ask Marissa to house/pup sit again.”

“Jalyne just watched our dog for the second time and continues to be our go-to! She got our anxious gal through a thunderstorm, was so communicative and even washed and folded her sheets. She’s a gem. Thank you Jaylyne!!”

About: Love dogs all kind. First I pet seat my friend’s dogs when they were away. Then I got my own dog. Alaska is a 34 lbs pomsky. She is very playful and would like a company. I can take your dog to a dog park or the dog beach. Both of those amenities are next to my house. Moreover I have small fenced yard for playing with bunch of balls.I work from home , so have a lot free time to pet sit fur babies and take them for plenty of walks. If you are away for a short trip, book your pet a bed and breakfast inn in my house. I will take care of your furry friend either at my house or yours. Currently work from home. Very flexible. However prefer drop offs and pick ups in mornings. If pick up after 3 pm addition charge may apply I have fenced yard where. I can let dogs out for quick pee and play if needed. However I take them on walks at least 2 times a day. If good weather, I may take them to the dog park or rye beach
“We are so grateful to have found our furever sitter Lina! Lina stayed at our home for a week keeping our dogs safe, well exercised and happy. She volunteered to take them out on fun excursions and walks. She asked us insightful questions in order to get a full understanding of their needs and set our expectations. She’s so thoughtful and responsible and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was sure to include photos on a daily basis along with updates. We highly recommend Lina!”

“Brandon completely went above and beyond to care for our two cats and home while we were gone for a week and a half! He asked thoughtful questions, followed all directions to a T, and often sent some greatly appreciated picture/video updates (and prompt responses). We were SO grateful to return home to find our cats in amazing spirits after clearly having some solid companionship, and to find our house exactly as we left it. Would absolutely book with him again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs many summers. Most of them were family and friend’s dogs. They seem to like me as much as I like them. I had two rabbits which I lost but taking care of your pets also make me happy. Whether it’s summer or winter I can take care of your dog. I have time before, during lunch and after work during week days. I live very close to my job and there is always someone at home. I have a medium sized back yard that we can play around and live really close to dog park. I also have transportation so that we can go anywhere.
About: I’ve always had dogs in my house so I’m extremely comfortable with them. I’ve also looked after people in my neighborhood’s pets (cats, dogs, birds) for a couple of years when I was younger. Before my senior dog passed away, I was in charge of taking care of her in the summer while my parents were away. Her hind legs became immobile and she needed daily attention/ care, whether it be help eating, using the bathroom, or going up/down stairs. Along with this, I’ve done a lot of drop-in visits for friends and family’s dogs and cats for years. I’m essentially always available as long as I get a few days notice! I’m very flexible with times and cancellations as well. I’d love to walk, sit, or watch your pets whenever need be. In a client’s home for, say, dog walking, I’ll definitley always make sure your pup’s paws are clean before coming in! This was something my parents always made sure of when I was younger, so I do the same now. In the past, I’ve been lucky enough to have a lot of clients with large fenced in yards for the dogs to be able to run around in. With that said, I’ll always make sure they get their energy out. For client’s without as much running space, I try to bring the dogs on longer walks. Water is key so bringing that along on longer walks is important, and making sure they drink when they get home is too. My boyfriend and I were responsible for his foster puppy, so we had to follow a structured diet and walking schedule daily for her. This experience I think helps me be structured with other dogs too.
Rye Brook pet parents share their Rover experiences
We needed a fill-in sitter for one weekend. Vinny got along with our pups and kitty really well and respected our home. I appreciate that he listened to our training requests with our youngest pup and not allowing him to jump. We had a last minute curveball with our oldest pup and she needed extra attention, she was well looked after. We felt at ease the entire weekend and came home to a calm, happy household.

Aaliyah stayed with our dog and cat for 5 days while we left the country and made it such an ease. She sent constant updates, checking in with pictures and status updates several times per day, and it was clear that our pets loved her and felt at ease. She always leaves our home spotless and our pets can’t wait to hang with her again soon!

Jennifer took great care of our puppy while we were away for the weekend. When we came back, he was happy yet calm, which makes me feel like she was a great comfort to him while we were away. She sent updates every day (just the right amount of communication- neither too much nor too little). Our home was exactly as we had left it- so Jennifer did an excellent job of keeping him from destroying our house ☺️
