“Jennifer was a pleasure to work with! She took extra good care of our cats and went above and beyond in every way. She is an excellent communicator and very responsible. Highly recommend.”

“Well, today is Shawn’s last day with; I don’t know who is going to miss him more… me or Max! It was such a relief to know that Max was being well cared for while I worked late these past few weeks. Shawn is amazing and a truly conscientious individual. I know Max appreciated having him care for him. I am going on vacation in June and will have Shawn care for Max if he is available on my date. Thank you Shawn, for being the wonderful man you are! See you soon! Max and Diane”

“Carol was amazing and patient with my spicy diabetic cat Mooka. She is definitely comfortable around animals and knows how to gain their trust being calm and gentle. I would highly recommend her for your pets visits and needs.”

“We’re so grateful to Claudia for taking such great care of Luna and Beanie while we were away! She did an amazing job not only spending time with them but also keeping everything clean and tidy. One of the cats had an accident outside the litter box, which I was a bit worried about, but Claudia took care of it right away and reassured us that everything was fine. It really gave us peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Thank you, Claudia, for treating our cats and our home with such care!”

About: I have always held a passion for animals and am dedicated to providing them with the best care. In my care, I strive to be attentive to your pets individual wants and needs. I will always make sure to provide them with tons of interpersonal attention, and interactive outdoor/play time to stimulate their mind and senses. I have 5 years experience in the pet care industry, and have a cat of my own that I care for well. I have worked with a multitude of clients and their pets, including elderly dogs and dogs that require oral medication administration. I have only worked with dogs and cats, but would love to expand and have the opportunity to care for other animals as well. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! My schedule is very flexible, and I am available for pet sitting and dog walking any day of the week. Whatever is convenient for you and your pet! I will make sure your pet sticks to their schedule and routine, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable with their favorite toy, treat, or activity.
“Amandine has a great sense for animals and their behavior. She was very patient with my stand-offish kitty and with my approach to introducing new folks to my cat. A true Gem! Highly Recommend!”

“Brooke did a great job visiting our dog, Truth! This was our first time booking someone on Rover. We found Brooke last minute, and she did a great job answering all of our questions and communicated with us very quickly. We were super relieved and would definitely recommend and rebook with Brooke!”

About: I bring attentive, knowledgeable care tailored to your specific creature and their specific personality. I've been pet parent to dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes to my current Sheepadoodle — there's no dog size or personality that's too much or too little, IMHO. And my experience extends well beyond dogs — cats, snakes, farm animals 🐐, and more. I also happen to share my home with a ball python named Fettuccine Alfredo 🐍, who is a distinguished, low-drama fellow. As a plant parent, I will watch after yours indoor jungles, outdoor gardens, that one fiddle leaf fig you're nervous about. If you need someone who will actually look at your monstera and not just splash water in its general direction, that's me. (My avocado tree, grown from a pit, is thriving. I'm not taking questions.) Housesitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, basic training — I've got you. And if you're going away and need the whole ecosystem looked after, pets, plants, and all, I'd love to meet you. Pet care fits naturally into the rhythm of my week. My mornings are consistently free, which works well for walks and drop-in visits, and I have flexibility on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends for longer stays or housesitting. On days when I'm teaching in the afternoons and evenings, I'm still available in the mornings — and I keep my schedule intentionally manageable so I'm never stretched too thin across clients. This isn't something I'm squeezing in around a packed schedule — it's something I've made genuine room for. When I'm in your home for drop-in visits or housesitting, I treat it with the same care and attention I'd give my own. That means following your routines exactly as you've set them, keeping things tidy, and making sure your pets are comfortable and unstressed in their own environment. I take detailed notes at meet-and-greets so nothing gets missed while you're away. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and attentive to their individual energy and needs — a reactive dog gets a very different walk than a social butterfly, and I know the difference. I bring over thirty years of animal experience to reading body language and behavior, so I'm not caught off guard by much. My own home includes a ball python and two cats, so I'm well practiced in managing a multi-species household safely and calmly. I don't offer boarding, which means your dog's visit to my home would only ever be for a meet-and-greet in a low-key, relaxed setting. In any situation that feels off — health, behavior, anything — I err on the side of contacting you immediately and getting to a vet if needed. You'll never be left guessing.
About: I had a family dog since I had a baby he was a dachshund and lived for 18 years. I have dog sitted before in middle school with my sister and it was great having to take care of cute dogs. I know how to handle dogs. I am currently working part time so I have time to take care of dogs and can walk them in the morning before I go into work. I am very cautious when taking care of dog before walking them I will check if their collar or harness it tightly secured (not too tight) so they won’t slip away.
About: With over 14 years of full-time experience caring for animals, pet care is more than just my profession it is a lifelong passion. While the majority of my experience has been with dogs, I have also gained extensive experience caring for cats and birds in their homes. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant with hands on veterinary experience and a strong understanding of animal health and wellness. I am comfortable administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, monitoring pets during recovery, and providing post-surgical care when needed. I am also very familiar with the veterinary clinics in the area and have experience transporting pets to appointments, assisting with checkups, and helping owners follow veterinary recommendations. What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I build close, trusting relationships with the pets I care for and take the time to learn their individual personalities, routines, dietary needs, and preferences. I have a strong interest in animal nutrition and understand the importance of maintaining consistency in a pet’s daily routine to support their overall well being. In addition to pet sitting and dog walking, I have several years of grooming experience. My building includes a dedicated pet grooming facility, allowing me to conveniently offer grooming services while pets are in my care. I am a dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate caregiver with many long-term client relationships national and international. References from local families are available upon request, and I take great pride in the trust that both pets and their owners place in me. I would be happy to assist with all of your pet care needs, including pet sitting, dog walking, medication administration, recovery care, transportation to veterinary appointments, grooming, and personalized daily care.
“Alyssa is amazing! She was very responsive and organized. She took good care of our cat and left detailed visit notes. She was our first Rover cat sitter experience and we were glad that we were able to have her taking care of our cat while we enjoyed our vacation. Will def rebook with her for our future trips.”

“This was Jason's first drop-in visit with our two Great Pyrenees dogs and our Maine Coon cat. The boys met Jason at his meet-and-greet visit about a week in advance and the boys loved him from the moment he walked through the door. He's very comfortable with our big boys (115 pounds and 140 pounds!). Jason, overall, is fantastic-- professional, thoughtful, conscientious, and just a great guy. He followed all of our instructions to the last detail. We already have more days booked with him. It's such an enormous relief to find him so the boys can stay home together rather than staying at the kennel while we go out of town. Highly recommend him!”

“Jamie took such great care of our dog Cokie. I only wish we lived closer to Jamie to continue having be part of our puppies life! She is so skilled with Animals (works at a Vet's office) Has great instincts about dogs and is so bright and thoughtful. Jamie is a gem and you are lucky to have the opportunity to work with her in the Westchester area. Thank you Jamie and Rover too for connecting us.”

“Nicole is incredible! She takes her time with our shy dog to make her feel comfortable, and we feel so grateful for that. She also sends pictures without us even having to ask! 10/10 recommend!”

“It was very lucky to have found Brynne to look after my senior cat for almost a month. Brynne treated my fur baby like her own precious baby. She was caring, conscientious, mindful, always on time, responsive, funny, communicative and I could go on with the superlatives. I want to gatekeep her but everyone should know what a great caretaker she is. Very happy to have found Brynne and will continue to use her exclusively when available since my kitty has special needs. Forever grateful 🙏”

Rye Brook cat parents share their Rover experiences
We recently had the pleasure of having Tara care for our sweet kitty, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. As this was our first time leaving our baby alone overnight, we were understandably anxious about finding the right person for the job. Tara exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we met her, it was clear that she had a genuine love for animals. During her visits, Tara kept us informed with regular updates, which put our minds at ease. It was comforting to know that our kitty was in such capable hands. Her attentiveness and care made a world of difference for us, and we could tell that our kitty felt safe and happy with her. We highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for a caring and responsible pet sitter. She was simply perfect!

She really took care of my little cat. When I came home my cat seemed very happy and playful. My cat is always a little skinny, so when I came home she looked like she had been eating properly during my absence. She also handled an issue with the cat litter very nicely.
