She and her sister treated our dog and the other dogs as if they were their own. The backyard is like a puppy playground, fenced in and filled with ways to be active. The house was warm and welcoming. And we were given daily updates with pictures reflecting Dexter’s day: his playtime, his peaceful sleep. It eliminated all the concern we had about leaving Dexter, and helped us truly enjoy our time away.”

I”m a teacher who’s off for the summer and when school resumes in the fall, I’m home by 2:45 pm. This schedule will allow me to go above and beyond when taking care of your dog. Your dog will be able to run freely in our home. I work close by so I will come home to walk your dog during the work day and then I’m home from work by 3PM. About: Over thirty years of cat companionship, and not a single one of my cats arrived by my own design. The Cat Distribution System has excellent taste. My current household includes two cats: Gretchen and Ice. Gretchen came to me as a tiny feral kitten I pulled from under an abandoned car. She went on to live a full and varied life — including a stint as a working mouser on a goat farm — and has now retired into a life of quiet domesticity, which she has fully earned. Ice is a chonker with tummy trouble who would simply rather not. We love him against his wishes. I can handle all the usual care — feeding, litter boxes, playtime, cuddles if your cat is into that. I'm also comfortable giving pills and injections, which not everyone can say. And after three decades of cat companionship, I know cat behavior well enough to tell the difference between a cat just being a cat and a cat who actually needs a vet. About: I had a family dog since I had a baby he was a dachshund and lived for 18 years. I have dog sitted before in middle school with my sister and it was great having to take care of cute dogs. I know how to handle dogs. I am currently working part time so I have time to take care of dogs and can walk them in the morning before I go into work. About: Ive been a professional dog walker for 7 years in my neighborhood. Everywhere I go they ask where are the dogs?? Ive had many satisfied clients. I have slots for more dogs daily. Small dogs are my preference since I have in a small area for them to play in. Overnights are fine too. I have a main play room in my space for smaller dogs. Large dogs may need an overnight pen to rest in overnight for dogs over 30 pounds.

I don’t mind them being on furniture but if you don’t want me to make it a habit with yours I wont . I do go out every morning to the park and I dedicate about an hour of just running around in the field or dog park but at night we’ll do a nice long walk. “Amandine took great care of our little Shih Tzu boy! We were having an unusually late night in the city for New Year’s Eve, and Badger is happiest at home so I didn’t want to board him somewhere overnight if I didn’t have to. Amandine was able to come twice that evening for his dinner and a couple outings. He got up to all his usual silliness on her visits, and was happy as a clam when we got home. Badger was comfortable with her right away and my husband and I were able to enjoy our Brooklyn NYE (Robyn at The Paramount, which was worth the very late night!) knowing he was taken care of and would be waiting for us when we got home. Amandine is very friendly and professional, and more than qualified to be a wonderful petsitter. We highly recommend her services!”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with two dogs—a Cocker Spaniel and a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. I’m the sole caregiver and handle all pet care myself. I’m used to daily routines like feeding, walks, and playtime, and I understand different dog personalities, from energetic to shy. On Wednesdays, I’m unavailable from 12–6 PM, but I’m free before and after that window. I care for pets by keeping a consistent and attentive routine. At home, I walk my dogs every morning for 30 minutes to an hour, usually around my neighborhood near a local high school. I let them out around midday, walk them again in the early evening, and give them another bathroom break at night. I feed them twice a day and make sure they get a treat before bed. When caring for a client’s pet, I follow their routine closely, ensure pets are always supervised, use secure leashes during walks, and prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.
About: Hello I’m Iris! I’m an animal lover who is passionate about spending time with animals and ensuring they feel comfortable, loved and cared for. I grew up working on a friend’s farm in Oregon where I cared for dogs, cats, goats, chickens, peacocks, horses and ducks. I have extensive experience caring for different breeds of small and large dogs and cats. I am a cat behaviorist and cat sitter and have over 5 years experience caring for emergency medical cases for kittens and cats through my volunteer work with a nonprofit cat rescue in NYC called Little Wanderers NYC. As part of my volunteer work, I am trained to provide a wide variety of medical care to cats and kittens including subcutaneous injections, vaccines, eye infection treatment, neonatal cat care, bottle feeding for newborn kittens, and oral medications. I am a master at clipping nails for so if your pet needs some grooming I’m happy to provide some spa treatment. My research background includes specializations in infectious diseases and cancer biology. As a scientist (molecular and cell biologist, biochemist, structural biologist, biophysicist), I have over 18 years of experience in biomedical research and teaching. I look forward to meeting your pup or kitty! I’m a scientist and high school science teacher so I work part time in the summer and have availability to provide care for your best friend. Your furry friend’s safety and comfort are my #1 priority. I have extensive experience helping pets adjust to new spaces/people and will be patient and thoughtful as your pet adjusts to being around a new person in their home. As a volunteer with Little Wandering NYC animal rescue, I have supported and coached many families through the process of helping their pet adjust to changes in their environment or with moving to a new home after adoption. Moreover, I have also supported families with introducing their new adopted cat to other animals in the home so everyone (all pets) can adjust to the change in a way that is the healthiest for all pets and humans involved in the introduction and change in environment.
