About: I've had dogs my entire life and have been watching them for several decades. I truly love them whole heartedly and enjoy spending time with them. I also train them while watching them and have been complemented on noticeable behavior improvement along with some very cute tricks ;) I'm working part time from home so my schedule is very open and flexible. As long as I have a few days notice and I'm not already booked with a full house of pups I'll be good. I have a large home with a fenced in yard. I also have a very friendly one year old Terrier mix that loves to play!

“Karolina was awesome! She was so kind and welcoming. My dog is friendly but nervous in new surroundings and within 5 minutes she had peed on the kitchen floor! I was horrified but Karolina calmly cleaned it up, no problem. My dog got to play in a fenced back yard with another dog - great doggy play date :) Thank you!”

“Catherine is such a sweetheart - she went above and beyond to assure me she would care for my pup as if she was one of their own. It’s always pretty stressful to leave my pup with a brand new sitter for the first time, and I’m grateful that Catherine made this so easy and welcomed Carli into their home.”

“We needed to go out of town and was unable to find a responsible, reliable person in our immediate area.. Kelly & family - what an honor to have had them look after our puppy. I found her thru Rover.com in a town in another state - on the way to where I was going. When we picked up our puppy, she couldn't stop telling us all about her day with such wonderful humans.:) Tipped on the spot - rather than waiting. We highly highlly highlly recommend Kelly. Bravo!!!!”

“We have left Pancho with Luz and Michelle several times. They are both very caring and kind to Pancho. Pancho can take a while to warm up to new people and he quickly took a liking to them and seemed very relaxed in the photo updates they send. He is also always happy to go with them when we drop him off. I would highly recommed them as sitters.”

“Laura treated Bing like he was her own pup, making sure she asked all the questions and stuck to his schedule. Bing has some separation anxiety but he was soothed immediately when he went into her home. She consistently kept me updated on his temperament and activity, best communication I've had in a while. She was also so flexible and adjust everything to his needs. I'd love to have Laura watch Bing again.”

“Maja was a lifesaver for us! She helped us out with a last minute request and took great care of my dog Tyson. I would recommend her to anyone and will absolutely reach out to her again in the future.”

“We contacted Tiffany last minute based on her reviews because we had a family emergency. A family member has rescue dogs that had recently lost their owner that were too stressed out to have dog visitors. Besides our dogs are little the other dogs were Great Dane mixes. So with little notice, our dogs were booked for day care with Tiffany and her family. The original plan was to do 2 days of day care and pick them up and take them to a hotel every night. But the pups settled in and hit it off with Tiffany’s children. So we converted to 2 days of boarding and we’re able to spend more time with our bereaved family member and help them out more. The dogs were not stressed at all when we picked them up. Happy to go and happy to come home but not mad we left them as they were obviously pampered. We will be back in a month and the pups will definitely bunk with Tiffany again. It could not have worked out better. Accept now we think we will need to find children for our dogs to be with when we get home! Another great Rover sitter. Only issue was we think we paid double fees to Rover as we had paid them for the original Two days for two dogs daycare and then paid additional fees when we adjusted to overnight. It was the sitter and our expectation that the final charge would be $40 lower than it turned out to be. Was that a glitch we could avoid booking straight to boarding in the future?”

2. Michelangelo D.
“I was referred to Michelangelo D'Amico by a friend to watch my 12 week old puppy, Picasso, for when I returned to work and began planning future vacations. When I first met Michelangelo, he was warm, welcoming, and instantly connected with Picasso. I knew Picasso would be in good hands. Michelangelo's regular communication and updates during the time he was watching Picasso brought me much peace of mind while I was working and on vacation. Picasso is now about a year and a half and he is about as good of a dog as I could ask for. Michelangelo did a great job working with him and even gave him some training! I’m incredibly grateful for the love and dedication Michelangelo has shown. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a safe and loving home away from home for their pet.”

4. Lorenzo P.
“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Lorenzo to watch my Doberman and German Shorthaired Pointer, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment we first contacted each other, Lorenzo demonstrated a genuine love for dogs and a deep understanding of their needs. Lorenzo took the time to learn about both of my dogs—their personalities, routines, and any specific care instructions. This attention to detail was reassuring, especially since my Doberman can be a bit cautious with new people, while my German Shorthaired Pointer is full of energy and requires plenty of exercise. During the time Lorenzo watched my dogs, he provided regular updates, including photos and messages, which allowed me to relax knowing they were in good hands. It was clear that he engaged with them, taking them for long walks and ensuring they had plenty of playtime. My dogs seemed happy and well-adjusted when I returned home, which speaks volumes about Lorenzo’s ability to connect with them. Additionally, I appreciated Lorenzo's professionalism and reliability. He arrived on time for our initial meeting and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. His experience with both breeds was evident, making me trust that he could handle any situation that might arise. Overall, I highly recommend Lorenzo for anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog sitter. His dedication to providing excellent care and his knack for making dogs feel comfortable truly set him apart. I will definitely reach out to him for future pet-sitting needs!”

16. Cynthia N.
“My family first met Cynthia when we were seeking a language tutor for our children, and for many years, she was a weekly guest in our home. Her love for animals has been apparent since she first arrived at our home, which included two dogs (German Shepherd mix and a corgi/blue healer mix) and three felines. While most visitors new to our home either step back in fright or ask that we put the dogs in another room, Cynthia knelt and hugged our pups, and it was obvious from that first day that our pups returned her affection and trust. Her arrival became a very happy weekly event for our dogs, and it was obvious how much trust they put in her -- even allowing and enjoying visits from Cynthia's own rescue. Our dogs are not misbehaved, but they are also not easy, and they often get out of sorts when non-family members come to our home. We saw the exact opposite dynamic with Cynthia -- even our mischievous "cowboy corgi" has always remained calm and affectionate in her presence, which says a great deal! Cynthia is a deeply caring, thoughtful and kind human who connects naturally with animals. I could not recommend her more highly!”

19. Alexandria M.

“Alex has been a foster parent for our rescue group for over 5 years. She has cared for our most fragile kittens, provided socialization, extra TLC and a constant vigilant eye. Alex is 100% trustworthy and 100% responsible. I would trust her not only with our rescue animals but with my personal pets who are like my children. I highly recommend Alex and know you will love her as much as I do! Vanessa V, Cat Director, Posh Pets Rescue”
