Hii everyone, my name is Melanil.
I am a vet assistant in a clinic located in the Bronx. I started off as a volunteer and worked my way up. I love all pets and taking care of them. I also use to work in a dog daycare before becoming an employer at the clinic.

What can I say about Melanil!! She’s so amazing schlepping back and forth to take care of my sweet boy shadow. We are super appreciative of her and we would love to have her back any ti e we need help. She was able to handle and control this 98pound dog responsible and with love. We are happy and so is shadow
Melanil is a great person to have as a dog walker. Not only is she so loving and playful with all animals, she also works at a veterinary clinic which shows the love and care she has for all pets. Shes very knowledgeable about animals behaviors and their feeling. There isn’t anyone else I would want to care for my pet other than her.
Melanil is reliable, always treats any fur baby like her own. Has an understanding in animal behavior, making it a safer environment for them to have trust Proper Communication during any emergencies During my time knowing Melanil hard working has never been a doubt in my mind I wouldn't trust anyone else in taking care of my fur baby

Schedule
I work with pets all the time when not in school and I have two of my own. My dog’s name is Diamond and my turtle is Torkischa.

I make sure to follow instructions, while also making sure that the pet itself feels safe and comfortable. I do photo updates and reach out in case of anything.
Pets
A typical day
I love to give them the time and attention that all deserve. As I watch them I would take them on joy rides and walks through big parks. I will make sure to carry water kits and snacks for them, but of course check in with the parents to get permission to do so. I do know some dogs is best not to overly hype them do to conditions and breeds, so I will make sure to get their exercise in but not overstimulate them. If the owners give me the ok I would also have them have a play date with others and maybe even including my own child Diamond (my pit/bully mix breed).
