Sisters Looking for puppy love
It started as just me on Rover, my sister Melissa has joined me and that's why we share a profile . I am a 33 year old pastry chef who is currently working full time but with a rather flexible schedule and certain nights available for overnight dog sitting. My sister Melissa works from home, she has her own online store on Etsy, k9felinePeru (check it out!) So she will be providing most of the services we offer for your pets since she is home mostly all day, everyday and she is also a dog lover like me. I lost my beautiful pitbull mix, Sedgwick and then Dollar both to cancer 8 years ago and 1 month ago, respectively. I used to cook for Sedg and Dollar, healthy and organic in addition to their daily vitamins and minerals. Furthermore, I have experience with dog medication/ sick dogs/ special needs since I went through it with my own dogs. Seg had to take pain killers, steroids and a series of other pills that helped prolong his life and us spend more time together. Dollar had food allergies in addition to environmental ones like pollen and the like so we were very careful with his diet and the cleaning products we use in our household. We just lost him to prostate cancer which he battled for 2 years. We are a sisters team providing the best service for you and your pets in the area. We both love taking long walks in the park, massage bellies and scratch the right spot :) Just some additional info: We welcome potential clients into our home for a visit before you hire us, for your peace of mind, we understand that your fur child is just as important as any other member of your family, that's how we felt about our dogs anyway :)) Ask us about making an appointment to meet us. Melissa has experience with senior dogs taking care of a blind goldendoodle until he turned 16 1/2 and became unable to move. Daily she provided pills for his arthritis, vitamins, put his boots on since his mobility started declining and made his food. Why we love dog sitting Our whole lives as a children my parents never let me and my sister have one, my dad has always been afraid of them. But that didn't stop us, we found ways to have pets at home, we started with hamsters and as adults we finally got dogs in our lives.

Melissa and Natalie took great care of my dog, Nori. I was a bit apprehensive initially because my dog has not had really any socialization with other dogs, but they were great in getting my dog acclimated and happily getting along with other dogs. They were also great in giving updates and I have a feeling that my dog was a bit sad in leaving behind all of her new friends.
Nataly is the best! Shmoopzie feels right at home! She is my go to sitter! Thank you Nataly!! :)

Schedule
Melissa is self-employed. She makes her own schedule and has the freedom to choose and change everything everyday in her schedule with ease without problems.

Safety, trust & environment
Here at home we live to cuddle. Pets are allowed on the bed and sofa. We can go on long walks if needed. Everything is done on time if they have a strict regiment for whatever reason like behavior training or ailments. For cats we love playing with them but understand they are more independent and try to learn their patterns to let them be as free as possible or if they are playful even better for us ❤️
Pets
A typical day
Walk around the neighborhood, a visit to the park (Veteran's grove, which has a dog run) also for the more athletic breeds, she can walk all the way to sherry park so your dog can make new friends. It's a longer walk but he/she gets to hang out with his own kind off the leash!! Or go for a jog. Play fetch with a stick or ball.

- First of all if the dog is generally friendly with humans and dogs, then if he/she has any special needs/allergies I should know about. And if he/she gets along well with other dogs. I prefer large breeds, I find them more energetic than small ones. Since I am pretty active myself. On my free time I go on hikes, walks in central park, camping. I like extreme sports (rafting /skydiving and the like). In the winter I go snowboarding and ice skating....
