About: Hi! I'm Janis—a college student on summer break, excited to meet your pet(s)! I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals since I was young—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish—you name it! Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs— from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as large breeds like Pit Bulls, Samoyeds, and Labradors. I am open to making exceptions for some large breeds depending on their behavior and after a meet-and-greet. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I gained experience walking and handling anxious dogs. My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant has given me strong familiarity with handling medications, special diets, and injury care. I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s safety and well-being. I’m very responsive and make sure pet parents always feel connected by sending frequent photo and video updates. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and bond with them through the activities they enjoy most. I’m currently on summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to spend most of the day with them, with exceptions for errands, but they will never be left alone, as I live with family. I provide at least 2–3 walks or potty breaks per day, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pet’s needs and routine. I also accept last-minute bookings whenever possible! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication at all times. I live in a house with a fenced front yard, but your pet will always be supervised when outside. During walks, I try to avoid streets with a lot of traffic to help pets feel secure, especially in new environments. I always pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I live with my family, so pets will never be left alone if I had to run out, and I always communicate this clearly with owners ahead of time. I currently don’t have other pets in my Brooklyn home aside from fish, which allows me to give your pet my full attention. I can also follow instructions like crating or separating pets if needed.

About: I have been caring for my own dog since I was 13 years old. I handled his daily walks, baths, feeding schedule, and medications whenever he needed them. This experience taught me responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. If you're concerned about pulling or tugging during walks, I regularly go to the gym and am confident handling dogs that are energetic or strong. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am currently out of school until the end of August, which gives me a flexible schedule and full-time availability for pet care. I set aside time during the week to stay active at the gym, but I am otherwise available and able to plan my schedule around each pet's needs. I am committed to providing reliable care, exercise, attention, and companionship for every dog I look after. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I make sure they have fresh water, meals on schedule, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also follow any special instructions, including medications, dietary needs, or preferred routines. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment where pets feel cared for and owners can have peace of mind.

About: Hi! I’m Sophie, I'm 28, and I'm someone who genuinely enjoys spending time outdoors and being around animals. While I’m relatively new to pet care, I’m eager, attentive, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I stay active and go on daily walks (usually about an hour), so I’m especially excited about opportunities to walk dogs and keep them engaged. I’ve had some hands-on experience walking a friend’s dog, and I’ve really enjoyed building that routine and connection. I also have a small goldfish tank at home, so I’m familiar with the basics of maintaining a pet environment. In terms of availability, starting April 16th, I expect to work full time in office Monday through Friday (with early dismissal on Fridays) and I’ll be available on Friday evenings and throughout the weekends. About: When I was a child my family owned and cared for dogs, horses, bunnies, and chickens which meant I became an animal caretaker at a very young age. In addition to helping to feed, groom, and clean up after our pets, I was aIso responsible for administering our dog’s daily diabetes insulin. My childhood prepared me well for becoming a dog mom to a longhaired dapple Dachshund in early 2021. I cannot imagine my life without him and cannot wait for your furbaby to become his furbuddy! I'm also the proud owner of Boogs & Boop, a small business specializing in pet accessories, with a portion of proceeds donated to supporting animal shelters and dogs in need. This commitment reflects my deep passion for caring for dogs and their well being. I work full time from home, so Dog Mom is my 24/7 job title. I am conveniently located near a park so go on at least two walks a day, weather permitting. DAYCARE CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: 1. Daycare refers to drop off between 8-9am and 5-6pm, a 8-hour period. 2. Pick-up and drop-off times for Daycare must be scheduled in advance through direct message. 2. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 30 minutes that you are late. Late arrivals risk interfering with other appointments, so this fee helps to accommodate that change. 3. Drop offs before 8am are subject to an Early Drop-off Fee of $10 per hour. 4. Pick up after 6pm are subject to a Late Pick-up Fee of $10 per hour. 5. Pick up after 9pm is considered boarding which is subject to double my Daycare rate. HOUSE-SITTING CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: During house sits, I typically continue my normal schedule with other pet care clients (walks, drop-ins, etc.), so I may be out of the home for portions of the day. If your pet requires near-constant or 24/7 care, please let me know in advance. I may be able to accommodate, but this would require adjustments for my own dog and existing clients and may involve an additional fee. I care for pets in my home since I also have my furbaby to attend to. This means there’s always healthy treats, pee pads, dog wipes, and pet first aid products on hand. I understand that being away from your furbaby can be nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured that I will provide clear communication and photo updates when your pet is in my care. I do not have an attached yard, but the park is a hop, skip, and a jump away, so it’s easy to take potty breaks whenever necessary. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Please arrive with your pet on a leash. I am a strong advocate for pet safety and leash laws. 2. I do not allow guests into my home, but would be happy to meet you downstairs at drop-off and pick-up times. 3. I will ALWAYS send photos throughout the appointment, even if not directly requested. INCLEMENT WEATHER DISCLAIMER: I take all weather advisories seriously. When the heat index is above 90°F degrees or windchill is below 20°F walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. Walks will consist of “doing their business” then returning indoors. Regular service is maintained in the rain, but will be postponed due to thunder, lightning, or blizzards. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. I will always communicate with dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures. Thank you for your understanding.

About: I have a kitten and an adult cat , i’ve also had a dog before as well.All my pets are well trained. I’ve volunteered at Sean Casey to dog walk plenty, I love animals. I adore animals, I’ve actually wanted to volunteer in costa rica for turtle savings and help needed:) It’s a dream ! Also love taking my partners pitbull for long walks it’s fun to connect with the animal. I have a lot of free time on my hands, I am a student and I only go two days to school in the mornings which is Monday and Wednesday. Will be studying animals in the class oceanography, I can’t wait. I have a lot of room to work and have a stable job like this. I have a kitten and an adult cat, both are trained properly by me, as well as being calm and well mannered. The adult cat I actually rescued myself and took her in as a baby she was just in a dangerous situation with a car. I also got my kitten from a rescue and raised her on my own. Those are the only two pets I have and there very friendly.

About: Hi fellow pet lovers! After adopting my family doggo a few years ago, I’ve grown to love caring for and bonding with dogs. I live in a house with our lab mix, Milo, in Brooklyn. I’m experienced in dog-walking and bonus, I’m great at taking pet photos so you’ll always be in the know about how your doggo is doing! Please schedule a meet-and-greet with Milo if doing doggy day care. I currently work a full-time job, but I’m remote for three days during the week and welcome doggos to play with Milo while I’m home! I like to go on 20 minute walks at least 2-3x a day. I have a yard so during drop-in visits, your doggo can run around and sunbathe when the weather is nice. I’m very attentive on walks. During doggy day care and drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your doggo is comfortable and having a blast! Milo is a gentle soul, but he becomes highly reactive to other dogs so it takes him time to make new fur-iends. If they need to be separated, I have multiple stories in the house to allow them to decompress and get comfortable.

I currently have a German Shepard Husky Mix boy he is such the sweetest dog ever! I went to college and got into the K9 club , I trained , walked , fed & bonded with numerous different breeds of dogs. I love dogs because they bring joy into peoples life and they are very smart. What sets me apart from other walkers is I have a lot of references from previous clients on a different platform not only will I walk or sit your dog I will treat your dog like family I will make sure to give your dog the best service ever I will also make sure your Rover experience is phenomenal. I work part time , 3 days a week, from home. I do not have a yard, my apartment is dog proofed being that I have a dog myself. I do have a cat. Feel free to ask any questions :)

About: Hi all! I am crazy about all dogs and am the proud pawrent to two adopted furbabies. One male, pocket pitmix, 6 and one female, chihuahua mix, 4. Both are fixed and friendly. To prevent an intervention of being the owner of way too many dogs to be socially acceptable, I’m opting to be a Rover walker and sitter instead. I am looking to make your dog extra comfortable by having dates where we can walk, play, have treat times, and take selfies. :) Happy to oblige with requests medical/dietary needs, dog park visits, sing alongs, etc. Very flexible with traveling and breeds to house-sit. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in the bed. Have had dogs of various sizes and breeds (poodle, chihuahua, German Shepherd, cocker spaniel, currently pocket Pit mix) in the past, and am comfortable with any best friend of yours!

About: Hi, I’m Jean and I’m really looking forward to meeting your pup! Although I have never had the opportunity to have my own dog, I have loved dogs my entire life and admire them dearly. I have worked at multiple animal daycares in Brooklyn and Manhattan and have dog sat/walked many of my friends/families dogs. I understand that your dog is your family so I strive to prove your babies comfortability is my top priority. Understandably, leaving your dog in another persons hands can be a risk but I will ensure that I leave your furry friend happy, exhausted and at the very least more comfortable with me! I have basically open availability Monday to Friday. Your dogs comfortability is my top priority.
