About: Since birth, I have lived with absolutely different animals and I believe that a house without an animal has no soul. I had an experience with a newborn puppy who was thrown out at birth, I fed him from a bottle when his eyes were not yet open, nursed him until three months and found him a loving and permanent family. Once I tamed a cat who was abandoned, offended by street cats and in the end he found salvation for himself in the form of my family and currently still lives with my family. For me, animals are not just a thing in the house, but an equal member of the family, created for respect and love. Now I don't work and have the opportunity to spend day and night with your pet. At certain times I can be away, this is discussed on the fact Our building has a fenced yard, and in our apartment lives a little man of 3 years old, who loves animals and will be the best company for them. Also in our house there is love, mutual understanding and respect for each other and the guests of our house.

About: We’ve taken care of our friend’s and roommates pets (both cats and dogs) for years before adopting our own dog, Gary, 7 years ago! I grew up with lots of animas and had loved them for as long as I can remember. I enjoy connecting and getting to know them, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe and relaxed in our home. I also have many years of experience babysitting and working with children, which isn’t too different in some ways. I will treat your dog as lovingly as if it were my own and will make sure to send pictures and videos so you know they are doing well. I am working full time from home, monday through friday, so your dog will not be left home alone for long periods of time. We usually go out for a long walk in the morning, a shorter walk for lunch (depending on the weather 20-30 min) and another long walk in the late afternoon, then a quick pee before bed. I would be happy to follow any rules/recommendations you may have, or answer any questions. I typically don’t let a new dog off-leash unless I am very familiar with them and the owner has explicitly requested that I do so. I am careful with other dogs, unleashed or not, that may approach and respectfully ask other owners to keep their distance if I sense that there is any stress on the part of either dog. Our apartment is child and dog proofed!

Each level requires a 10 hour orientation so as to make sure both the dog and I were safe. I still apply many of those useful techniques today. I’ve owned, worked with and volunteered with dog breeds of all sizes and all kinds of personalities for many years and across NYC. I also adore cats, fish and reptiles as well. 🐠🐢🦎 I can help with walking, feeding / administering medication or vitamins, socialization, basic training (leash training, off-leash training, crate training, positive reinforcement, sit, stay, down, paw (and “other paw”), behavioral fixes like pulling on leash, etc), daycare for short or longer stays, drop-ins and whatever else you need! We can also work out trips to the dog park, groomer, vet, etc. Importantly, I am looking into becoming a certified dog trainer in the coming year 🐕🦺 My own dog gets 4-5 walks a day with a substantial exercise session as one of them! Clients have the opportunity to set their own schedules with me. I am available early, late, weekends and holidays! Working with animals is my full time occupation at the moment. However, when I am working in my other profession (legal & tech), I work solely from home. So, I am always local. My childhood prepared me well for becoming a dog mom to a longhaired dapple Dachshund in early 2021. I cannot imagine my life without him and cannot wait for your furbaby to become his furbuddy! I'm also the proud owner of Boogs & Boop, a small business specializing in pet accessories, with a portion of proceeds donated to supporting animal shelters and dogs in need. This commitment reflects my deep passion for caring for dogs and their well being. I work full time from home, so Dog Mom is my 24/7 job title. I am conveniently located near a park so go on at least two walks a day, weather permitting. DAYCARE CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: 1. Daycare refers to drop off between 8-9am and 5-6pm, a 8-hour period. 2. Pick-up and drop-off times for Daycare must be scheduled in advance through direct message. 2. Late arrivals of more than 30 minutes will be charged an additional $5 per 30 minutes that you are late. Late arrivals risk interfering with other appointments, so this fee helps to accommodate that change. 3. Drop offs before 8am are subject to an Early Drop-off Fee of $10 per hour. 4. Pick up after 6pm are subject to a Late Pick-up Fee of $10 per hour. 5. Pick up after 9pm is considered boarding which is subject to double my Daycare rate. HOUSE-SITTING CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: During house sits, I typically continue my normal schedule with other pet care clients (walks, drop-ins, etc.), so I may be out of the home for portions of the day. If your pet requires near-constant or 24/7 care, please let me know in advance. I may be able to accommodate, but this would require adjustments for my own dog and existing clients and may involve an additional fee. I care for pets in my home since I also have my furbaby to attend to. This means there’s always healthy treats, pee pads, dog wipes, and pet first aid products on hand. I understand that being away from your furbaby can be nerve-wracking, but you can rest assured that I will provide clear communication and photo updates when your pet is in my care. I do not have an attached yard, but the park is a hop, skip, and a jump away, so it’s easy to take potty breaks whenever necessary. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Please arrive with your pet on a leash. I am a strong advocate for pet safety and leash laws. 2. I do not allow guests into my home, but would be happy to meet you downstairs at drop-off and pick-up times. 3. I will ALWAYS send photos throughout the appointment, even if not directly requested. INCLEMENT WEATHER DISCLAIMER: I take all weather advisories seriously. When the heat index is above 90°F degrees or windchill is below 20°F walks will be cut short for your pet's safety and for my own. Walks will consist of “doing their business” then returning indoors. Regular service is maintained in the rain, but will be postponed due to thunder, lightning, or blizzards. Walks may be early or delayed depending on the forecast. I will always communicate with dog owners if a change of plan is necessary due to dangerous weather and temperatures. Thank you for your understanding.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and I currently have two cats of my own! I have been a pet sitter in New York for five years. I love animals and have experience with many different types, both as an owner and a sitter. I use rover for my own pet sitting, so I know first hand about the anxieties that come with using it. Because of this I know how to make it a great experience! I'm looking forward to working with you to give your pets the best care! I am a teacher, so I am at work from 7:30-2:30. I have a lot of time after work to go on walks, play with pets, and give them love and attention. I have two cats who both love dogs. I have watched several dogs of multiple breeds and sizes in my apartment and never had any issues with them getting along! I also have a multiple rooms so that I can keep the animals separate when I am not home. My apartment has a fenced in area that can be used for potty breaks, and I live blocks from Propect Park for longer walks! I use rover for drop in visits, so when I am watching a pet in your home I know how to make sure your home is properly cared for as well as your pets!
