About: I have experience caring for my 10 year old german shepherd lab, who has a sensitive tummy. I've had him since he was 2 months old, so I am familiar with every stage of doghood! About: Hi all! I am crazy about all dogs and am the proud pawrent to two adopted furbabies. One male, pocket pitmix, 6 and one female, chihuahua mix, 4. Both are fixed and friendly. To prevent an intervention of being the owner of way too many dogs to be socially acceptable, I’m opting to be a Rover walker and sitter instead. I am looking to make your dog extra comfortable by having dates where we can walk, play, have treat times, and take selfies. :) Happy to oblige with requests medical/dietary needs, dog park visits, sing alongs, etc. Very flexible with traveling and breeds to house-sit. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in the bed. Have had dogs of various sizes and breeds (poodle, chihuahua, German Shepherd, cocker spaniel, currently pocket Pit mix) in the past, and am comfortable with any best friend of yours!

My rates are firm and reflect the level of care I will provide* I know the feeling of never wanting to leave your fur baby behind. Wherever I went, if I couldn’t take my pets with me, then I would rather not go at all. But sometimes when work calls or when you simply need a little “me” time, we need help from someone we can trust to love and care for our pets while we’re away. I would love to be that person for you! My pet care experience comes from working at and caring for shelter animals, caring for stray cats, fostering cats and dogs, and loving my own beloved pets (My two dogs that have since passed - Terri, 18, Maple, 12, and cat - August, 4). I’m fear-free certified and have extensive experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs (especially cushings, CHF, CCD). I can help with giving oral medications and am open to assisting with other needs if you’re willing to teach. If your pet knows any commands or is in training, I’m happy to help reinforce their skills too (just let me know!). In addition to my experience above, I was also featured on NY1’s New Yorker of the week segment for my volunteer work at Animal Haven, an animal shelter based in Manhattan. My home is super senior-dog friendly with rugs all around the house so your pups don’t slip, pet oxygen for emergencies, plus strollers for pets with special needs. I work remote and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I offer pet day care, house sitting, and boarding. Please see my calendar for availability. HOUSE SITTING - overnight stays in your home DROP INS - 30 minutes and I’ll do whatever is needed in that time. This could be a combination of feeding, meds, walking, indoor playtime, etc. WALKS - 30 minutes, strictly outdoors walking, ideal for high-energy, active dogs. BOARDING - Your dog stays overnight at my place. You do a minimum of 2-4 walks a day, depending on your dogs needs. Owners must provide food for their pets, but I can also accommodate for an added fee of $5 per day (includes treats/meals). Please ask about food options and provide allergy info + food preferences if interested in that service. DAY CARE - Drop off for day care is between 7-9am and pick up is between 4-6pm. I will love and care for your pet the way you do for them. I treat every animal I care for like family, providing patience, space, and extra attention as needed. I’m super safety conscious and keen on details, so if there are any particular habits, routines, or schedules you’d like me to follow, if your pet is trained or undergoing training and there’s anything you want me to reinforce, or if your pet has special needs and requires special care, please reach out to me with those details. I am always willing and more than happy to work with you to make sure they are cared for and to give you peace of mind. Rest assured, you’ll be getting plenty of updates and photos from me!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was about 8 years old. I grew up with a doberman and a cat both of which i loved dearly. I continued to have cats and dogs until I moved out on my own at 25, I now only have cats because of my building but would love to get back to walking and taking care of dogs! I’m a manager at a non-profit animal rescue group and take care of approximately 50 animals a week. This includes feeding, cleaning, playing and monitoring their health! I treat every animal I come into contact with as I would my own. There is always love and the utmost care. I’m on a sabbatical from my full time job now in sustainability so I have lots of time to do some pet care work! I still work at the animal rescue group but that is only part time. I offer services mostly at the client’s home and not my own because of my cats. While super friendly and cuddly I have no idea how they’d react to a large dog! But at the client’s home I’m extremely vigilant about pet safety and know what to do in an emergency. I’m very familiar with walking dogs of all sizes (even great danes) from my time as a doggy daycare employee.

I can accept one-time bookings easily, though reoccurring schedules for walking should be discussed in advance since my availability may be limited. During November through April, walking services are more weather-dependent and may not always be open. Your dog is welcomed into a calm, dog-friendly home where they will have attention, companionship, and structure. Crate-comfort for short periods is important, especially for pups who may get anxious when left alone for quick errands. Day sitting is available for a minimum of 7 hours within a 14-16 hour day (pet needs to do well 8 hours overnight), with a maximum 3-hour break for other tasks; usually in the morning (this also applies to boarding). Overnight stays are generally limited to once every 3 booked days. I remain mindful of each pet’s boundaries and training.
