During our meet and greet, you will share your expectations and care requirements with me and we will discuss your pet's health and habits, your veterinarian's details and together we will ensure that we have an agreed upon emergency plan in place. I want to know all about what makes your dog unique and special. What are his favorite treats? What commands does she know? What commands would you like reinforced? Is there a special spot they like to frequent? Do they pull on the leash? Is he a little timid? Is she a big dog in a little dog's body? I can't wait to meet your pup and learn all about them!
A typical day
We live in such a great neighborhood, there are all types of fun places to walk and explore. I will tailor your dog's walk to his/her preference and, of course, to yours. Need to work out that extra energy? We will pick up the pace. Want to stop and sniff EVERYTHING? We can do that too. My own dog is getting older so we go slower over a shorter distance but we make sure to go down the block that has all the squirrels he likes to think he's still chasing up the tree.

Proud pet parent for more than 20 years (dogs and cats). Years of experience working with rescue organizations including in-home dog fostering and adoption as well as shelter care. I was adopted 11 years ago by my 13th foster dog, Parker, a truly special gentle giant Great Pyrenees Mix. Old/young, big/small, fearless/fearful, stoic/derpy and everything in between-I love them all and will truly care for them like they are a member of my family.

We were moving from New York City to New Mexico, and our longtime dog sitter had also moved away. So we needed someone to sit Kirby, our rascally Golden Retriever, during our Going Away Party. Laura did an amazing job. Kirby loved her, and having Laura around all afternoon was a tremendous help. She's nice, smart, dependable. If you need someone to watch your pet, look no further: Laura is exactly who you need to contact.
I had no worries while away from my cat knowing that Laura would be providing the best care. She is friendly, flexible, has a great sense of humor and followed all of Seymour’s care instructions. Will definitely use again. :)
Laura took great care of our elderly dog (Riley) while we were away for a few days. She stayed in our home overnight, took him for 3 walks a day, and was always in communication with us to let us know where she and Riley were in their day together and how he was doing. She took excellent care of our home while we were away and just really went the extra mile in all that we asked her to do. Highly recommended!!
