About: I grew up around dogs. Since I was born, my family has had Golden Retrievers who were my brothers. I have been working with and around dogs of any size all my life and have a huge love for them. I have cared for sick dogs, healthy dogs, energetic dogs, high maintenance pups. I love all breeds and personalities! I am a Brooklynite but I have no issue coming into Manhattan or Queens to spend some some time with your pup! I am a performing artist so my schedule is generally wide open. I can schedule whenever or wherever I am needed! Early mornings are not a problem for me nor are evenings. Long walks are not a problem for me, I live near Prospect Park and love walking in the parks in New York. I have no problem house sitting.

About: I come from a household that was full of pets from an early age, and as a result, am a huge animal lover of all kinds :). I’ve had pets all my life that range from dogs and cats to more exotic species such as frogs, snakes, horses, insects, and hermit crabs and because of this am comfortable around all species. A biology major in college, I took classes on entomology and vertebrate biology and at one point decided to pursue vet school. During this time, I often was the point of contact to watch my friend’s animals while they were out of town. I now work in the medical field and am a current foster mom to two sweet kitties. I currently work hybrid, which allows me plenty of flexibility to fit your pets’ needs! I'm open to last minute requests and will accommodate wherever possible. I am diligent and pay close attention to detail to help ensure I keep your furry family members (and your home when applicable) safe from harm. I double check all doors to make sure they are locked and secured, and like to keep my living space tidy in order to prevent my pets from getting ahold of a foreign object that they could potentially harm themselves with. I communicate swiftly if I notice any changes in your pet’s behavior and will always err on the safe side if I notice anything out of the ordinary.

It was our first time using rover for housesitting and we were a bit nervous to leave Marvin (our cat) for such a lengthy period given how many meds he has to have administered. He gets thyroid medication administered twice daily and gets a daily asthma pump. But Marvin was well taken care of! He was pampered and spoiled in all the best ways. We got daily updates with pictures and videos of Marvin which we were really appreciative of. Even during the meet-and-greet it was clear that Marvin would be just fine as Armeda wrote meticulously notes in her phone about Marvin’s routine (which as a spoiled cat is a lot!). We came back to a happy cat and an extremely clean house. I truly recommend Jason and Armeda, they were great. Thank you again!”
