As a dog owner for the past 25 years I know how stressful it is to find affectionate, dependable care for a pet when you need to work or take a trip. I’m comfortable with all breeds up to 80 pounds, and all ages. Happy to take care of any dog from puppies to geriatric dogs. I work remotely with flexibility in my schedule to provide walks or work from your home. I can come in for scheduled visits or work from your home for the visit if necessary. I can offer care in your home. I am happy to walk and clean up after your dog. Happy to provide food, water, affection and playtime.

About: I have extensive experience at an animal shelter, where I was tasked with walking and helping train dogs of all different sizes and behavioral patterns. I have also done overnight stays with dogs, ensuring these fur babies are being taken care of while their owners are away! I am currently working a part time library job about four days out of the week and am looking to make time for dog walking/sitting in between those days! Caring for pets in my client’s home means slowly introducing myself to their space so they know I can be welcomed and trusted in their environment! This means acclimating myself to their space and following their behaviors based on boundaries.

For the past 10 years I've been dogsitting/dogwalking and would love the opportunity to meet and take care of your pup! :) I am pretty flexible for the most part! Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays I have full availability. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays I am available after 7pm for one-off visits. However, I can do overnights any day of the week. About: Hello! I am a full time writer who works from home and adores both dogs and cats. I’m very active, so I love taking long walks. I have a very flexible schedule that allows for frequent interaction, play, and cuddles with your pet(s) and I will treat your fur babies like they are my own! I’d love to add a dog to my family, but I travel far too much at the moment, so taking care of your pet is truly a honor and a privilege for me! I also have extensive experience with cats and I would be very happy to care for your feline friends as well. I am able to administer medications, and able to handle pets with anxiety/other behavioral issues (within reason). My schedule is very flexible so I am able to dedicate plenty of time during the week/on weekends to your pups and kitties. I also love talking long walks/runs and very happy to bring along your pet. I have a cat so I prefer to board dogs that get along or at least tolerate cats, but I have a few different rooms, so if necessary, they can be separated for most of the visit.

About: I was raised alongside litters of puppies and my life has revolved around animals ever since. My family consistently had 8-10 dogs in our home, ranging from big dogs like labs or American bulldogs to smaller dogs like French bulldogs or terrier mixes. Since I was in elementary school, I was tasked with feeding, grooming, walking and playing with all of our dogs. As an adult, I've helped my parents out in watching their many dogs (my dad has 12!) when they are out of town and pet-sitting for friends and family. I adopted my own two cats, who I've had since they were kittens, and love them with almost my whole heart - I have two ferrets that take up some space in my heart too. Ferrets are notoriously difficult pets to take care of, so if I can handle them and all their energy & mischief, I think I'm prepared to take care of just about any creature. I have been conscientious, responsible and caring for my own pets and I promise I'll treat yours the same way :) I work 9-5 on a hybrid schedule but, as a manager, I have flexibility in terms of remote work — I can always change my schedule around to accommodate yours! I need advanced notice for overnight bookings, as I commute into the city twice a week. I can always switch my-in office days with enough of a head's up, so please reach out if my current calendar availability doesn't align with yours! We may be able to work something out. Unfortunately, I know the feeling of coming home from a trip and realizing that some little things were unattended to by a friend I'd trusted with my pets: the water fountain was half full, the litter box hadn't been scooped in a few days, their 24/7 bird streaming YouTube video wasn't on (lol). Of course my pets were still fed, but it didn't feel like they were cared for the same way I would have. I promise that won't happen if I am entrusted with your pet. I am very good at noticing and handling those little details, even if you forgot to mention them, because that's what I would want. That said, I am great at following pet-care instructions, and I'll surely feed, walk, play with (and love) your furry friend according to the schedule you set out.
