Responsible, Reliable Dog Trainer
Please note my areas only include Dyker Heights, Bay Ridge and some parts of Bensonhurst at the moment and I will not accept same day requests. I am a certified dog trainer and graduated December 2020 from the International School of Canine Psychology. I am also insured through Pet Care Ins. I helped my fearful dog Zoe become more confident through the use of force-free dog training. I also used to volunteer with local pet adoption event Love Wanted Pet Adoptions for five years, where it was my job to handle dogs of all different ages and sizes. I would work side-by-side with the other volunteers in order to help the dogs find good homes during the event. I excel at bonding with fearful dogs, and I have the utmost patience with them. I will never raise a voice to your dogs or force them to face their fears. I use only force-free and science-based training methods on my canine clients.

I treat my clients as if they were my own dog; I own a Potcake from the Bahamas that is very good with puppies and enjoys making friends, should they be in need of a furry pal.

Amanda was wonderful with my two babies. Even the reactive younger one (she has some anxiety and just big feelings in general) ended up looking forward to their walks. Will definitely rebook and highly recommend Amanda!

Amanda was terrific! Super warm and friendly and my pup just loved her! My dog is anxious, but he responded positively to Amanda right away during our meet and greet, and from the pix Amanda sent from their first walk, I could tell that Wilson was happy and enjoying his walk -- he doesn't always, so that's saying a lot! Amanda is a great communicator and highly responsible, I will def book her services again!
