“Irina was extremely attentive to my boys' needs, going above and beyond with giving them treats, playing with them, cleaning their litter box, and sending plenty of updates while I was away on a trip. I had only asked her to keep the boys well fed and ensure their safety, but clearly, my cats had a great time with her around! I recommend Irina to any pet parent in need of care for their beloved pets”

About: I have taken care of cats of all sizes from 1 day old kittens to 2-3 years old cats (both neutered, spayed or unneutered, unspayed). I am familiar with their nature. I also walk my friend’s dogs on a regular basis. I am currently working full time. However my evenings after 5 are free. My weekends are most of the time free which means I am open for house sitter as well I have taken care of dogs by taking them for a walk or play fetching with them. For cats, I usually drop by to check if the feeder is working, clean the water fountain or bowl and refill with fresh water, clean their litter box, play with them, etc.
“Claudia was amazing! She sent us detailed checklists after each visit and lots of cute videos! Our cat loved her right away which tells us everything we need to know 😊 We will definitely be reaching out to Claudia again the next time we need a cat sitter!”

“Lizbeth did a great job checking in on our cat, and was super communicative. She followed all instructions and left the place clean. Would book her again in the future!”

About: I currently WFH as a Client Finance Manager and recently completed my MBA degree. Somehow, I still have plenty of free time and absolutely love pups! I have my own 4-year-old cavapoo, Eloise, and an 11-month-old mini poodle mix, Charlie Sheen. We go on walks 2–3 times a day along the beautiful Bay Trail and would love to walk your dog, too! Hire me to dog-sit, dog-walk, or care for your pup—I offer extra attention with snuggles, kisses, and plenty of outdoor time! I am home throughout the day to ensure frequent potty breaks, attention, and regular check-ins. I typically walk dogs twice a day, and with my flexible schedule, I can accept last-minute bookings. I can stay for a few hours at your home, take pups on a long walk, or simply drop by to check in and feed them. I firmly believe all pups should have access to daily cleaned and fresh bowls of water. My car can take me anywhere to care for your pup!
“Olivia is a great sitter for my cats Hazel and Squirrel! She gives them love and attention and they enjoy her company everytime she visits. I greatly appreciate the time and effort she puts into her visits with my babies and I highly recommend her.”

“Spencer took great care of my 60 lb staffy, he sent photos so I could tell how she was doing, and was prompt and communicative. He is a professional and genuinely cares for dogs.”

“Diana and Michael were so kind and professional. I felt extremely safe leaving Reptar in their hands. He requires a wagon and to be lifted, so not for everyone, but Michael was able to assist my big/little guy and get him out while I was out of town for the day. Thank you so much for being so kind and sweet to my guy.”

Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I'll make sure they get plenty of attention and love. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I can administer oral and subcutaneous medications. I graduated with a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, then went on and completed my MBA at Cornell University. I stopped working recently, so I have plenty of time to devote and dedicate to pet sitting. I am available mornings, afternoons and nights, depending on what you and your pet’s schedule requires. Thank you, Xilin and Xiang, for taking such good care of Bobo during your drop-ins. You did a great job playing with her, brushing her, cleaning her litter box. We really appreciated the detailed notes and all the photos after each visit. It was great to know how Bobo was doing while we were away. We’ll definitely book your drop-ins again next time. Thank you!

Rong did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Avocado! She was incredibly reliable, attentive, and caring throughout the entire stay. I felt completely at ease knowing Avocado was in such good hands, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure he was happy and comfortable. Everything was well taken care of, and I came home to a very happy cat. I would absolutely trust Rong with Avocado again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful and dependable sitter!

Jasmeen was fantastic watching our cats during our extended trip. Since we’ve used her before, we already knew they’d be in great hands, and she went out of her way to accommodate our schedule. She is truly one of the best sitters on Rover, we couldn’t recommend her more!

I felt very comfortable and reassured knowing that my two cats were being taken care of by Yamzel. I really appreciated how she went above and beyond to check in with me about any specific accommodations they needed and to clarify any instructions. She also provides so many check-in photos, which are wonderful to receive while you’re away on vacation and really give you peace of mind! I’ve booked her twice so far and will gladly continue using her in the future. Highly recommend Yamzel!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
