“Amanda is a Pet Whisperer! She took care of our 2 kitties for a week with 2 visits each day - 1 morning and 1 evening visit each 30 minutes. One kitty is outgoing and self sufficient but the other is very shy and reserved. At the beginning of the week they were both hiding under the bed :( Over the week, she was able to engage with both of them and bring the shy one out of her shell. AND, by the end of the week, they were greeting her at the front door and interacting and playing with her at each visit. Each day she sent updated photos and detailed notes about how they were doing. In the past, when I've been gone they seem freaked out and nervous when I return - but this time when I got home they were their happy selves. I really can't say enough good things about Amanda. About: Hi folks, I’m Hannah. My pets are a part of my chosen family. They each have their own quirks, preferences, attitudes, and personalities. I’d be honored to bring your furry family member into our lives! I’ve had many different pets over the last 20 years: parakeets (Lucy and Ricky), gerbils (Louis and Clark), dogs (Lilly, Iggy, Olive, Stella, Dexter, Pearl), and cats (Charlie, Baby Boy). We love to walk and hike throughout the bay area, run the beach, teach tricks, sunbathe in the yard, play with the very many (too many!) toys strewn about our house, and cuddle in front of the fire pit. I’d love to know more about your pet to ensure they are safe and happy and that I’m providing the best kind of care catered to them. Are they shy? Friendly? Aloof? Nervous? Mischievous? Do they need a little more love to make sure they are comfortable? How many daily walks is ideal for their energy level? Do they get specific meals and meds to protect their health? Do they have a history of reactivity? Favorite spot for scritches? Etc. I’m also happy to provide specific care based on their needs, senior pups and cats welcome! Thanks so much for reading 💕🐾 We live in San Mateo and I’m currently working part time in San Francisco on M/W/F mornings so I have a flexible schedule to care for your furry family. I am also open to working out a pick up and drop off schedule if that is something you’re interested in. We have a lovely fenced yard for our pups to run around and frolic in, as well as a doggy door so they can go out at their leisure. I like to take my dog on 2 walks a day (gotta check their pee-mails!) and there is a dog park within walking distance of our house should your pup prefer to run around freely. I do not crate my dog, so if that is in your routine, please let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly. Above all I believe fresh air, engagement, and enrichment creates the happiest environment for our pets. I’d love to welcome yours into our family ❤️

So I’m open to small/medium dogs day care at my home. For large dogs, meet & greet is necessary as I can only accept well trained large dogs considering my cats at home. Please note that there’s a swimming pool at my house. I’m open to let dogs play in the pool as long as the dog know how to swim. Otherwise, I will keep them away from the backyard for safety concerns.

About: While I've loved and cared for my own Pit Bulls and Beagle, 4 years experience living with a Bull Terrier has prepared me for so much with our furry besties! Keeping to schedule is very important, and for their comfort I will definitely give them time to adjust while I'm caring for them. I'll cuddle if they like, and leave them be if that's their preference. Most recent experience with animal care was for my senior dog during incontinence & weakening hips/hind legs. And the younger dog was hit be a car, so he was also a patient to assist and carry for almost everythinghe did. And I'd do it all over in a heartbeat just to be with them again! (My dogs ate twice daily and vocalized his need for breakfast at the same time that he needs to relieve himself. In order to prevent accidents in the house, I make sure to respond to their barks and pacing around me or near the door. To prevent my energetic dogs from uncontrollable zoomies, regular walks satisfy their momentum while giving time for obedience and awareness in public.) I like to find out what makes our pets feel safe and loved, because who wants to be stuck in an awkward situation? I'll acknowledge that spontaneous throw up, poop, and urine are all natural accidents that can be cleaned without shame. I don't tell at or get pushy with your animals, I will be patient & show them patience.

Your fur baby will be safe with me 💜 I am currently working Monday thru Friday in SF and have weekends and holidays off. When I am not home, my grandmother (who has even more pet care experience) is home. I usually get home in the evening on Monday thru Friday around 5:15pm and am home all day Saturday and Sunday. I have a lovely fenced backyard as well as a medium sized crate in the house. I have one dog, 3 cats, and a turtle. I make sure to regularly let my dog out for a potty break. I make sure to feed at their regular eating times. I usually sleep with my dog, and there's more than enough room for one or two fur babies to cuddle with.
