About: Hi, I'm Stephanie! I'm new to Rover, but not new to pet care. I've been professionally caring for animals of all kinds since 2017. I am comfortable taking care of all kinds of pets, including those with special medical needs and/or behavioral issues. I have extensive experience walking, making trips to dog parks, and house sitting, as well as training and dispensing medications. I am a full-time professional pet care specialist! I am happy to provide on demand services as needed as well as establish regular walks/visits with new clients. I take safety very seriously when it comes to pet care. I always take care to follow all instructions carefully and keep open communication with the owner to make sure we are on the same page regarding expectations and each individual pet's needs. When entering and exiting a client's home I always make sure all doors and gates are shut and locked to prevent pets from excitedly running outside, and I always double-check to make sure harnesses/collars are attached correctly before starting a walk. My clients over the years have always made sure to thank me for keeping their pets and homes safe and secure while they were away!

Katie sent plenty of pictures throughout the stay and gave updates without me having to ask her to do so. She took Winnie on outings and was responsive to her needs. I also appreciated that she checked in with me before taking Winnie anywhere we hadn't discussed. She even left an adorable "report card" for Winnie which was such a cute and appreciated detail. Katie left my house clean and tidy. I would absolutely ask Katie to care for Winnie again!”
