About: Taking care of dogs started for me with my wonderful and energetic Airedale in my teens and twenties, and continues as a dedicated uncle to my sister’s 4 dogs (yes 4!). I am the guy my friends consistently ask to pet sit when they leave town. I also take pride in leaving your house as nice as when arrived. For long stays or short, I’m happy to help. Through patience and consistency, he became the kind of dog everyone loved：calm, polite, trusting, and incredibly sweet. I am also experienced in high-level medical care. Last year, my dog fought a rare autoimmune condition. During his two-month battle, I became proficient in managing intensive treatments and navigating the complexities of emergency veterinary care and blood transfusions. Though he passed away in August, the experience taught me how to be an advocate for a dog’s health and how to stay calm under pressure. My husband and I aren't ready to bring a new dog into our home just yet, but I have so much love and specialized knowledge left to give. Whether your dog needs a structured walk with positive reinforcement or a gentle drop-in visit with a caregiver who understands their unique personality, I will treat them with the same devotion I gave my own best friend. My current schedule is highly flexible during the week. I view dog walking and drop-ins as the perfect way to step away from my desk and get active. Because I manage my own hours, I can provide consistent mid-day visit or walk when most owners are at work. When it comes to how I care for my dog, that is how I will care for yours. I do not allow Potato to say hello to other dogs while on leash. We cross the street if there are super reactive dogs. I am very aware of our surroundings and do not allow any scavenging. I try to encourage loose leash walking, but I also so don’t mind a more high pace walk.

About: I’m a loving cat mom of 5+ years with a lifetime of experience caring for cats of all ages. I’m competent in simple dog training and am open to dog-sitting/walking, but cats are by far my specialty. I have proven experience building trust and bonding quickly with new cats, even those with behavioral issues or shy demeanors. I’m a teacher looking for extra summer work, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry friends June-August! I can make up to 5 visits on weekends and 3 visits on select weekdays. My first pet was a chicken at 7yrs old and had cats my whole life, even throughout college! My first dog was a female Shelted Sheepdogs (sheltie) then we got her a brother a year later. What fun sweet memories and joy having them growing up. Humans can learn a lot from our pets, their unconditional love & playfulness. Caring for animals is a privilege. Similar to raising children (I have two teens) and requires lots of awareness, love, patience, attention to detail, and kindness. Safety is always priority number one I work an office job from 8a-5p during the week and am available for pet care after hours, early mornings, and on the weekends. If a client is near my office or home I’m able to visit sooner. I live in a nice neighborhood near a great park and walking trails. My home is safe, organized, clean with fenced yard and two pets (dog & cat) to keep your fur baby company. If your pet is crate-trained I can support that too.
