“Caroline is a true pro. She's always on time, is a great communicator, comes prepared, leaves the house in perfect condition, keeps me updated and takes amazing care of Gracie. Have booked her twice and will definitely book her again!”

“Our dog immediately became best friends with Casey at the meet and greet which put us at ease. Casey housesat for our dog for 3 nights. When we returned home, our dog was happy, healthy, and clearly well-cared-for. It was clear that Casey followed all of Cookie’s care instructions and gave her plenty of attention. Additionally, the house was in better condition than when we left it.”

About: My long history of taking care of dogs started with my wonderful and energetic Airedale terrier in my teens and twenties, and continues as a dedicated uncle to my sister’s 4 dogs (yes 4!). I am the guy my friends consistently ask to pet sit when they leave town. I am currently working part time nearby and I am not planning holiday travel, so I’ll have plenty of time for quality visits with your dogs! Your pets and your home environment are important to you. I will exercise the utmost care with both and make sure you feel comfortable entrusting me with either or both.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family and have always been a natural dog lover. I have experience pet sitting for extended periods of time and take great care to prioritize the well-being of every pet I care for. I pay close attention to all instructions provided to ensure your pet is happy, safe, and comfortable. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet’s needs! I am a graduate student at SF State working toward my PPS credential. I balance coursework and an internship with pet care and follow a structured weekly schedule. I am best suited for dogs who are comfortable being alone during weekday work hours. I am fully open on weekends as indicated on my availability. I’m happy to discuss my availability in more detail to ensure a great fit. My level of care is dependent on the instructions I am given by the owner. I carefully review them and make sure that I have the emergency contacts for the nearest veterinarian hospital if an emergency occurs. I also make sure to have close relatives numbers and the in case of an emergency period I am responsible and a natural home body, so you can be assured that your pet will have company. I am a very clean person and believe that you should leave a place better than you found it. I carry this insight into my work I think as well. If you have any specific questions or request, please feel free to reach out to me.
“Caroline was great with our senior dachshund. She stayed with him for a weekend at our place and kept us updated on how he was doing. She was kind, thoughtful, and responsible. We will hire her again the next time we go out of town!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and respect I give to every pet and home. I don’t just “watch” pets — I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and comfort levels so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m especially patient with shy or sensitive dogs and focus on building trust at their pace. Whether your dog is mellow or playful, I adjust my care to match their energy and needs. I’m experienced with well-trained dogs, enjoy long walks and hikes, and prioritize safe, attentive off-leash time when appropriate. I treat every home with the same care and responsibility as I would my own and keep owners updated with thoughtful communication for peace of mind. My goal is simple: for you to return to a happy pet and a well-cared-for home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, which allows me to give pets dedicated attention before work, immediately after work, and throughout the evenings. Mornings include walks, feeding, and check-ins to start the day calmly. After work, I’m fully available for long walks, playtime, hikes, and quality one-on-one care. Evenings are relaxed and structured, focusing on companionship, routine, and comfort. On weekends, I have open availability and can provide more flexible, extended care. I prioritize consistency, reliability, and making sure each pet’s schedule is followed closely so they feel secure and at ease. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s routine closely to keep things familiar and stress-free. I take a calm, attentive approach and never rush interactions, especially with shy or sensitive pets. I ensure secure doors and gates, use leashes unless off-leash time is specifically approved, and stay alert to surroundings during walks and outings. I treat the space with respect and care, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, and special needs. I also provide regular updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My goal is to create a safe, trusted environment where pets feel relaxed and owners feel complete peace of mind.

“I recently had the pleasure of having Lauri house and dog sit for me while I was away, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! Lauri is professional, reliable, and most importantly, she truly loves dogs. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and comfortable, and even sent me daily updates and pictures to ease my worries. Lauri is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior, and I felt confident that my dog was in good hands. She was also respectful of my home and kept it clean and tidy during her stay. I am so grateful to have found Lauri, and I will definitely be using her services again in the future. “Amanda helped sit our 3 not-so-small dogs in our places for several nights while we headed out for spring break. She even stayed a bit longer in the last day to keep our dog companied when we were heading home late. Dogs look healthy and happy. House looks clean and neat. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good sitter.”

Baywood Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Cesar was very nice and responsive to our requests. He met with Honey before we left so she could get familiar with him and sent us photos and updates through the app while we were away. Honey has never been alone since she was a puppy, and Cesar was understanding to her needs and accommodations. He took good care of her and we would recommend his services to anyone else. We would definitely ask him to come dogsit for Honey again.
Brittany was a savior over Christmas. She took care of my flamepoint Siamese cat and a stray I have been helping without a second thought. She was so good with both of them. When I returned my Siamese cat (who has separation anxiety) was so calm and content. I could tell he was well cared for. She also sent lots of pictures and followed instructions well. Will book again!

Francis was a wonderful sitter and took great care of our pups and home! We were traveling in Asia and needed Francis to cover the second half of our trip since our other sitter had only partial availability. Francis was flexible to our travel plans, agreed to arrive early, and helped coordinate the transition with the other sitter. He sent frequent updates and photos, with fun and cute captions. Francis' communication was strong, from the time of booking until after wrapping up the sit. We also came home to a sparkling clean apartment! We would definitely recommend him as a sitter!

Caroline was an excellent house sitter for our dog, Kaya. She sat with Kaya for a week and we received prompt photos of Kaya who was obviously having a wonderful time in Caroline's care. When we returned from our trip our home was spotless and Kaya was relaxed and calm. We will definitely be contacting Caroline for upcoming house sits and recommend her highly for any pet care needs you may have. Thanks Caroline!
Lisa was great!! My dog can sometimes be nervous when meeting new people, but she went right up to Lisa at our meet and greet. Cassie was very comfortable with her. While I was gone, Lisa took Cassie for walks, sent pictures and kept me up to date on what Cassie was doing. This included Cassie jumping up on the guest bed, which is a first. I think she just wanted to be near Lisa. Lisa was very responsible and caring toward Cassie. She even went out and bought something that was needed for the house. I highly recommend her and I will use Lisa again.
This is the first time that I have had someone stay with my dog while I was out of town, and I couldn't be happier. Shauna was great!!!! My dog can sometimes be nervous when meeting new people, but she went right up to Shauna at our meet and greet. At this meeting, Shauna asked all about Cassie, what her routine was and what she liked. I felt very comfortable with her. While I was gone, Shauna took Cassie for walks, and sent pictures. Cassie stayed by her side in the evenings, when normally she prefers to be outside. Cassie obviously felt very comfortable with her. Cassie was low on one of her treats, and Shauna went and bought a whole new bag. Very thoughtful. I highly recommend Shauna and I will use her again.
Samantha was very patient with helping our stranger fearful dog, Scooter, overcome his anxiety over having a new caretaker in our home. It took awhile, but Samantha eventually won his trust. She thoughtfully sent photo and video updates of Scooter and Frankie, our other dog. I really appreciated her TLC for our dogs and would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a caring, responsible pet and house sitter.

Thomas was fantastic with our anxious dogs and took amazing care of our plants and home. He quickly earned our pups' trust, sent lots of photo updates, and left our house spotless. We came home to happy, relaxed pups; we couldn’t ask for better care. Highly recommend! Thank you, Thomas!
