“Kayley was absolutely amazing house sitting and watching the dogs! She gave them walks and attention and was excellent at providing updates and lots of cute pictures. She made it so easy to relax during my vacation knowing my pups were being well taken care of! I definitely recommend Kayley for anyone who needs a housesitter or walker!”

“Alanna was wonderful with my 11-week old puppy. She sent me pictures throughout the day and kept me informed on how he was doing. Also, she worked on reinforcing his trainer which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely book again with Alanna!”

About: I grew up with all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigeons, toads, ferrets, sugar gliders, and fish! I have provided pet care for cats, dogs, and more! My furry dog clients are of all ages (puppy to senior) and all sizes (dachshunds, german shepherds, pitbulls, st bernards, and more!) I have an 8-yr old english bulldog! I have flexible hours during the week days, as well as availability on evenings and weekends. Given enough advance notice, most schedules can be accommodated. I enjoy caring for pets in the comfort of their own homes. I follow the care guidelines provided to ensure a safe and familiar care routine.
“Caroline is wonderful! We have used her dog sitting services twice now and were very happy with the level of care she provided for our dog. Very communicative and stayed the entire time! We will definitely be booking with Caroline in the future!”

“Thiri is an excellent pet sitter. After our initial meeting, she was proactive in arranging a follow-up visit to pick up the keys, which made us feel confident in her approach. She’s honest, straightforward, and really takes the time to ensure you feel at ease. Throughout our time away, Thiri kept us updated with regular pictures, showing just how well she was caring for Snoopy and Woody. They absolutely adored her, and we’ll definitely be reaching out to Thiri again for future trips.”

“Felix was awesome! He goes above and beyond my expectations without even the need to communicate anything with him. He got so friendly with my Bella, they played all the time and he was amazing at sending photos and videos so I knew how my kitty was doing. I found the place looking better than when I left and Bella looks happy and well fed and looks like she had a great time. I am so grateful for Felix”

About: I deeply value earning and honoring your dog’s trust! I always want to let them feel warmed up and comfortable with me at their own pace, especially around more reactive dogs. And I take pride in giving the bestest pets! I grew up with my beloved dog, Romeo, for 14 years and was his primary carer for weeks at a time during the last couple years of his senior life. I hope to carry the same love, care, and recognition of their individual character through others too. Last year, I started housesitting and caring for other dogs (outside of family) for friends and clients through word-of-mouth. It’s been very exciting and fulfilling getting to meet a bunch of different dog friends. I also currently live with my partner’s dog (she’s a chihuahua named Nala), so I’m rarely not around one. I work remotely and will be at home majority of the day. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can step away for walks or play and pets. You can reach me whenever needed and I’ll do my best to get back to you ASAP. I respect the trust you have in me caring for your animal companion and for staying in your home. I know that it’s a lot to share something so personal and I don’t take it for granted. I’m flexible and can accommodate to any specific home preferences or take care of simple house tasks while you’re away. I always want to leave your home clean and ready for your return.
“This was our first time using Rover and we were so happy by choosing Casey. He immediately wanted to schedule a "meet and greet" at the house so the dogs can be comfortable. Soon after, we left for our wedding and our babies were in his hands. We were worried at first, but Casey reassured us instantly with photos of the doggies loving life. He always checked in with us, and sent us photos. We had such a great experience with him and Rover. I recommend Casey for any dog child owner in the area. His knowledge, attitude, and comfortability is reassuring :D Thank you so much! -The Rileys”

“Iris was amazing and our pup loved having her with him! She is so conscientious and communicated each day with sweet updates and pictures. Iris is a wonderful house and pet sitter! Thank you Iris!”

“HoChuen day-sat our dog for several hours while we were out. I would highly recommend him. He was conscientious and prompt and asked good questions before we signed him up. He was on time and engaged with our dog and followed up on our instructions. He communicated when he thought there was a problem and asked for our input. I would have no hesitation in hiring him again. I recommend him to other users.”
About: I have experience taking care of a variety of small and medium sized dogs, including my neighbor’s elderly dog who required consistent attention and administration of medication. I enjoy going on walks and will be sure to give any dog the attention and care they need! My schedule is very flexible. I work remotely most days so am able to look after the dog throughout the day and take it outside as needed. I prioritize your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine by understanding each pet’s needs and maintaining a calm and respectful presence. I am happy to follow any specific instructions in your home as well.
About: I’ve had the joy of owning a friendly and healthy cat for 10+ years. In addition, I’ve volunteered at a cat shelter for over three years, gaining valuable experience in caring for cats in various situations. I’ve also taken care of dogs for my family/friends and through Rover. I’ve consistently received positive feedback because I treat every pet with the same love and care as my own cat. My schedule is generally flexible especially for mornings and evenings. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little bit challenging during the day (10am to 4pm), but please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask:) I have comprehensive and systematic training in pet care, including checking their ‘mood’, cleaning, feeding, and playing. Plus, I always make sure to take great photos and videos to send to the owners regularly!
About: I grew up with all kinds of pets; from gerbils to birds, turtles to dogs, I love them all! I want to make your furry friend as comfortable as possible while you’re away, or take them out for some fun while you cross some things off the to-do list. I am dedicated to providing the most authentic, loving, and quality care for your pets. It’s the very least they deserve! I have been house-sitting for 5 years, both cats and dogs. My favorite thing about it is learning each animal’s unique routine and discovering their personality! I understand that all pets are different and need to be cared for in different ways. I’ll adapt my approach in any way necessary to best service them! I’m a college student taking a gap year to get some life experience! I work part time, so my schedule is very flexible and widely open for sitting/check-ins. I follow your pets usual routine to make them feel secure! They’ll be fed, walked and played with all according to your instructions. I also love to just hang out and cuddle with the snuggly types! If in your home, I make sure to keep things organized and lock up carefully. I love to send updates and pictures while with your pet, I want you to feel reassured that they’re safe and happy!
“This was my first time ever leaving my pets for more than 12 hours and was super nervous and anxious about it. But Treasure made it a breeze! My dog liked her right off the bat which says a lot because my dog doesn't like ANYONE. Sent me pictures too and updated me often. 10/10 will book again if I ever have to be away again”

About: Having had a wide variety of pets my whole life ranging from wolf dogs to horses to ducks, you learn to love the good and the bad of such high levels of detail and responsibilities. I loved it so much I eventually shaped my entire career around it. Graduating with a bachelors degree in animal sciences sets me apart from others as I present and apply myself everyday with knowledge and experience I have gained working with dogs and various species over time. Not only am I no stranger to your typical, standard pet care protocols, but my combination of life time experience and learned knowledge allow me to be familiar with how to deal with a multitude of health/behavioral issues or concerns that have risen or have yet to even be noticed. Recently I have taken time away from my job to further my focus on animal studies, so I have plenty of time to look after or walk your pet on the weekdays in mornings, afternoons, and evenings! Whether it be drop in visits or you need me to stay for hours on end, I’m your girl. I believe good instructions are at the forefront of the best care specific to your pet and attention to detail. I listen to what your pet is asking of me since after all, it is their house, not mine, and make sure to use my judgement accordingly to accommodate to whatever they may need or be asking of me. I ensure the basic necessities are always available including water, food as requested, and enrichment. When walking, I pay attention to the environment and all cues I receive from the pet to ensure the utmost comfort for us and everyone around.
Marina Lagoon pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bergen took great care of our dog and cat while we were away for a couple of weeks. She sent lots of great photos and updates each day. We appreciate the extra time and attention she gave our dog with lots of long walks to tire him out. We will look forward to hiring her again!

Lisa was great!! My dog can sometimes be nervous when meeting new people, but she went right up to Lisa at our meet and greet. Cassie was very comfortable with her. While I was gone, Lisa took Cassie for walks, sent pictures and kept me up to date on what Cassie was doing. This included Cassie jumping up on the guest bed, which is a first. I think she just wanted to be near Lisa. Lisa was very responsible and caring toward Cassie. She even went out and bought something that was needed for the house. I highly recommend her and I will use Lisa again.
This is the first time that I have had someone stay with my dog while I was out of town, and I couldn't be happier. Shauna was great!!!! My dog can sometimes be nervous when meeting new people, but she went right up to Shauna at our meet and greet. At this meeting, Shauna asked all about Cassie, what her routine was and what she liked. I felt very comfortable with her. While I was gone, Shauna took Cassie for walks, and sent pictures. Cassie stayed by her side in the evenings, when normally she prefers to be outside. Cassie obviously felt very comfortable with her. Cassie was low on one of her treats, and Shauna went and bought a whole new bag. Very thoughtful. I highly recommend Shauna and I will use her again.
Annika took great care or our pets and also our house for several days while we were away. She was very punctual, followed instructions, and easy to communicate with. She was very good about sending updates and photos and everything looked perfect when we got back. I would highly recommend her.
Nicole has been great with our hospice senior foster dog with CHF and CCD. She spent 2 nights with him knowing that she may have to clean up after him in the morning, she gave him his meds and took fantastic care of him, all at pretty short notice. She also took great care of the house, sent updates on the pup and I would definitely recommend her.
Thomas was fantastic with our anxious dogs and took amazing care of our plants and home. He quickly earned our pups' trust, sent lots of photo updates, and left our house spotless. We came home to happy, relaxed pups; we couldn’t ask for better care. Highly recommend! Thank you, Thomas!
