“Caroline was a great sitter for our dog, Lily! She was very communicative, shared so many cute pictures while we were away, and followed our routines to keep Lily happy :) we would definitely recommend Caroline!”

“A great sitter! She house sat for us for a week and administered oral meds to my cat, and kept our 70 lb high energy dog company. She gave us daily updates and asked questions when needed. Will book her again!”

“This was Keith’s first time with our dogs and home. He asked a lot of good questions before and during our time away. He sent us pictures and updates daily and left our house in good condition. Much appreciated, Keith!”
About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember, and for my family leaving our fur babies in the best hands possible is always our top priority. I have experience taking care of cats, fish and of course dogs of different breeds and sizes. I always get excited to meet new dogs because I adjust to their behavior and needs. No matter if your dog is a senior or a puppy I will fit your dog’s needs and work to accommodate any and all changes, even at a moments notice. I am currently working full-time, so I have a lot of flexibility during the weekend. But if you need me any other day of the week I can always take a look at my schedule. My home belongs to my pets and I am very lucky that they let me stay. But in all seriousness, I not only want your pup to feel safe and happy with me but I also want you as a parent to feel confident that you are leaving them in the best possible care with me. I am always near my phone or watch so in case you need an update, I will promptly respond and also send you pics.
“Sandra was very responsive and was flexible with dealing with our shifting schedule. Miso, our chaweenie, was very happy with Sandra watching her. Will be asking her to watch Miso again soon. Thanks Sandra!”

“We hired Debora for our first ever in-home house/dog-sitting and Deborah put all of our concerns at ease. During our meet-and-greet it was very apparent that Deborah is highly knowledgeable about dogs and dog training. Her extremely well-socialized and well-behaved dog Oliver stayed as well, and our dog Oslo had the time of his life with his temporary live-in pal. Deborah was great about getting to know our needs and tailoring the service to them by offering various options for ways of doing things. We got regular detailed updates and photos during our trip which was great. Deborah was very prompt about responding to communications and left the house very clean, we couldn't tell she was there. Deborah was fantastic and we would definitely have her house / dog sit for us again!”

About: Hi! I'm Deborah, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 20 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I've had dogs since I was a child and have fostered multiple litters of puppies over the years. Whether it's a playful pup, a senior dog needing a little extra TLC, or a house full of furry friends, I treat every pet like family. With decades of hands-on experience, you can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and communicative. I understand how important it is to feel confident and at ease when someone is caring for your pet and home. That’s why I always provide updates, photos, and stay in close contact so you know your pet is safe and happy. I’m here to make sure your pets are comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Let’s chat—I’d love to meet you and your pets! I have plenty of experience and time on my hands to spoil your furry family members. I can accommodate all types of personalities and health issues. I can care for pets in your home. I have a flexible schedule so lets talk about what your pets need. Happy to set up a zoom call for a first time meet and greet.

About: I've taken care of animals since I was a kid and have volunteered at animal shelters over the past 10 years. I have fostered dogs, cats, and kittens! My childhood dog lived to 17 and when he went into adrenal failure, I gave him an IV drip every night. I strongly believe in doing whatever it takes to keep animals under my care healthy and happy! As a pet parent myself, I know how stressful it can be to find the right fit to be entrusted with your furry family member. I want you to know that I will follow your care instructions to the letter and I'm an excellent communicator. If you request more pictures or updates to put your mind at ease, I am happy to provide! I'm currently doing this full-time, so I can be very flexible when it comes to your schedule. I am free on weekdays and weekends. I travel occasionally and will block off those dates on my calendar ahead of time. I live with my partner and our 2 dogs which gives me the bandwidth to care for your fur babies. I'm all about respecting an animal's boundaries and personal space. I like to give animals a chance to warm up to me and be very patient with them. Animals thrive on routine, so when I'm house-sitting, I want to keep things as normal as possible for their comfort. I am responsible and respectful of house rules. My wish is for you to feel totally at ease knowing your pets are in good hands.
“Margot was so great with Milo and was so helpful for watching him through the whole day! She took him on 2 walks and was very kind! Milo seemed very happy when I got home and we would definitely book with her again 😊”

About: Animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve grown up with a pet dog and currently own a cat, so I understand pets as family. Reliable, patient, and genuinely passionate about keeping your pets happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I currently work at home via online, meaning, I have a lot of time on my hands. I am doing this mostly because I love animals and I need to get out more. My cat is an indoor cat, she has a wide spacious window in my room where she can observe outside, I also take her outside where there is trees and grass on a harness 1-3 times a week to get some fresh air. She is very mellow and like to sun bath. I am open to outside and inside care!
“Chelsea was great. Our dog was immediately comfortable with her and she made us feel comfortable being away from our fur baby. She also went above and beyond keeping us updated through texts and pictures while we were away. Very trustworthy. Highly recommend ❤️”

“Caroline was great with our senior dachshund. She stayed with him for a weekend at our place and kept us updated on how he was doing. She was kind, thoughtful, and responsible. We will hire her again the next time we go out of town!”

“Lisa was fantastic! She dog sat for me for 2 days very last minute when I was in a pinch. My little guy was going through a rough time, but he did so great with Lisa! She took such great care of him and kept me well updated along the way. She really helped us both. I will definitely be reaching out to Lisa again.”

About: Dogs have always been a large part of my life, whether the pups were my own, my roommate’s, or my friends’. Currently, I don't have any fur babies of my own and this is the longest I've lived without one in my life, so I’m hoping that caring for your fur babies will help tide me over until I'm able to get one of my own! I have a lot of love and attention I’d love to shower your fur baby with, but I also have a lot of patience and persistence for those who need a more determined approach. I have experience working with big and small breeds and younger and senior mutts, as well as Boxers, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, Labradors, German Shepherds, and Golden Retrievers. For the past year I’ve been volunteering with the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA for the past year, working specifically with reactive and fearful dogs. Prior to that I’ve volunteered at shelters all over the world. I’ve lived in a few different countries and within the US I’ve lived in Boston, Washington D.C., Florida, and now the Bay Area! I speak English and Hindi fluently, and am conversant in Spanish, French, and Arabic. I’m happy to learn how to say commands and sweet nothings in any language that your fur baby prefers. I have a BA in Biological Anthropology from Boston University and a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University. I’m currently unemployed and looking for work in health care - but this just means my schedule is that much more open and flexible. I look forward to loving and caring for your pup while their favorite person is away. I’m currently unemployed and looking for work in health care - but this just means my schedule is that much more open and flexible. I'm happy to work on the schedule that works best for you. When caring for your pet in your own I am respectful, considerate, and clean. I understand that sharing your space with another person requires a lot of faith and understanding, and I endeavor to make sure we are both comfortable with the arrangement. I hold transparency and trust in very high regard! Along-side caring for your pet I'm happy to water plants or take care of any other living thing that might also need attention!
“Yuna was amazing! She kept our home clean and organized, and most importantly, our dogs were happy and well cared for. She stayed in touch throughout the stay and sent photos, which gave us all a peace of mind. Yuna is kind, considerate, and professional. I highly recommend her and would definitely book her again.”

Beresford pet parents share their Rover experiences
Deborah's the best. You can tell right away that she's truly a dog person. She took care of Wallace for 2 weeks and that was no small undertaking. He's a very senior 90# chocolate lab with mobility and incontinence issues. She totally rose to the challenge, going above and beyond; dog baths, obtaining supplements, even facilitating getting him set up with a new bed. She's amazing. If I need help again for sure she's going to be my first call. But I think she's going to be discovered and I have no doubt she will easily fill up her schedule

Dawn took wonderful care of our dog and home. She connected with our pup and understood him well. He definitely bonded with her. She shared lots of photos, videos, and stories, and it was clear our dog was happy. We highly recommend Dawn and hope to have her dog sit again soon!

Lisa was fantastic! She dog sat for me for 2 days very last minute when I was in a pinch. My little guy was going through a rough time, but he did so great with Lisa! She took such great care of him and kept me well updated along the way. She really helped us both. I will definitely be reaching out to Lisa again.

She was amazing with my two cats and dog! They all seemed so comfortable with her, which says a lot because they can be picky about people. She kept me updated and sent me pictures, which I loved. When I got home, everyone was relaxed and clearly well cared for. You can tell she genuinely loves animas. I would absolutely book her again.

Roz had me at hello. Warm and friendly, and a true animal lover. My dog and cat warmed up to her right away, and she spoiled them with walks and love. I have never felt better leaving these two with such a wonderful caretaker. So happy with Roz and her wonderful presence. A true Gem🐾💗

Heidi took wonderful care of Odie while we were away! She was friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. I received daily updates and photos which was comforting. She stayed in our home and we came home to a clean place! I really appreciated Heidi taking such great care of my senior buddy. Thank you!!

Cesar was very nice and responsive to our requests. He met with Honey before we left so she could get familiar with him and sent us photos and updates through the app while we were away. Honey has never been alone since she was a puppy, and Cesar was understanding to her needs and accommodations. He took good care of her and we would recommend his services to anyone else. We would definitely ask him to come dogsit for Honey again.
We had a wonderful experience with Lindsay. She took excellent care of our two dogs staying at our place and giving them plenty of attention, love, and exercise while we were away. We came home to two very happy, relaxed dogs. Communication was great, and we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs were in such reliable hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.
Brittany was a savior over Christmas. She took care of my flamepoint Siamese cat and a stray I have been helping without a second thought. She was so good with both of them. When I returned my Siamese cat (who has separation anxiety) was so calm and content. I could tell he was well cared for. She also sent lots of pictures and followed instructions well. Will book again!
