They took great care of our pup Kiwi, who can be anxious and slow to warm up to people, and they understood that Kiwi needs to go at her own pace. Upon handoff, they immediately took her for a quick walk around the block which helped ease the transition, and by that evening, Kiwi was comfortable and asking for pets. Katie and Jason are quick to respond and kept us updated with both many adorable photos and brief recaps of walks or fun things that happened in the home. They accommodated our late pickup time with no fuss and had everything prepared: the bowls were washed and dried, and the blanket was folded. Highly recommend these two! About: I trained my Pomeranian puppy myself and he’s now almost 9. I’ve assisted with all of my friends’ dog training and love being around all dogs. I am currently transitioning out of my full-time tech role after my startup got acquired and am looking to take time off. I have a lot of flexibility. “Amanda is a Pet Whisperer! She took care of our 2 kitties for a week with 2 visits each day - 1 morning and 1 evening visit each 30 minutes. One kitty is outgoing and self sufficient but the other is very shy and reserved. At the beginning of the week they were both hiding under the bed :( Over the week, she was able to engage with both of them and bring the shy one out of her shell. AND, by the end of the week, they were greeting her at the front door and interacting and playing with her at each visit. Each day she sent updated photos and detailed notes about how they were doing. In the past, when I've been gone they seem freaked out and nervous when I return - but this time when I got home they were their happy selves. I really can't say enough good things about Amanda. There are many options on the Pennisula and I like to switch up the scenery daily. I only walk one dog at a time. I try to keep my prices low, I know what a stress it is to worry about your pup and the last thing you need is to not schedule a walk due the cost. I am also open to suggestions and will always refill the water bowl and give your pup lots of kisses and love before the end of my visit. I volunteered at an animal shelter in high school, have had cats of my own since 2013, pet sat cats and dogs for friends and family, and have had experience raising kittens as well as experience in TNR. “Katie and Jason are great dogsitters (and super friendly humans in general)! They took great care of our pup Kiwi, who can be anxious and slow to warm up to people, and they understood that Kiwi needs to go at her own pace. Upon handoff, they immediately took her for a quick walk around the block which helped ease the transition, and by that evening, Kiwi was comfortable and asking for pets. Katie and Jason are quick to respond and kept us updated with both many adorable photos and brief recaps of walks or fun things that happened in the home. They accommodated our late pickup time with no fuss and had everything prepared: the bowls were washed and dried, and the blanket was folded. Highly recommend these two! “Irina took fantastic care of my dog, Daisy! She took her on long walks, gave her lots of cuddles, and was very attuned to her individual needs. On top of that, Irina was very responsive to me, and sent lots of great pictures of their adventures together. It was so nice to know that Daisy was in good hands, and I didn't need to stress about her while I was away!”

“The family of Zicheng and Kennedy took care of Minnie so well. It was such a life saver during our long trip to know that Minnie was at good hand . We got photo updates showing all daily routine of walking , playing , sleeping. Medication also well administered as needed. Such a easy communication with them by Rover messages. “Kenneth did an amazing job watching my dog. He sent me so many great updates with photos multiple times a day so I knew how she was doing. My dog can be a little shy with new people but Kenneth made her feel comfortable and at home. I could tell by the photos she had warmed up. Kenneth was also very good at following the care instructions I left. I would definitely recommend him as a dog sitter!”

“Data, my 100 pound German Shepherd, usually stays with his girlfriend Repunzel when I am out of town but She was sick so I searched Rover for sitter. Evie’s location was nearby and when I stopped by for a visit I was impressed with the large amount of lawn area for Data to explore. Evie kept me up to date with pictures and activity reports which I greatly appreciated. I’ll be going on vacation this summer and will be using Evie again.”
