There are many options on the Pennisula and I like to switch up the scenery daily. I only walk one dog at a time. I try to keep my prices low, I know what a stress it is to worry about your pup and the last thing you need is to not schedule a walk due the cost. I am also open to suggestions and will always refill the water bowl and give your pup lots of kisses and love before the end of my visit. About: I have a Samoyed x Standard Poodle at home, so I am very comfortable handling and caring for larger breeds! I have also cared for various dogs within my family so I are experienced with smaller dogs and different breeds. And since I work from home full time, you can expect frequent photo and video updates throughout the day so you always know your pup is happy and well looked after! I work from home full time, so your dog will never be left alone. Since I have our own dog, I already do two walks a day — so your pup will definitely be getting out and about! I have my own friendly dog at home who loves meeting new friends — he gets along great with dogs of all sizes and breeds, so your pup will always have a playmate! I also have enrichment toys and lick mats on hand to keep them stimulated and entertained.

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.

“This was our first time boarding our English bulldog with a private boarder, he’s been going to Wags hotel since a pup and I was tired of him being alone and crated most of the day. When we met Kiara I knew instantly she was a fit for us. Doak had never spent a lot of time with kids, so I was worried how’d he do with little ones. He’s very mellow and laid back but loves to jump. Kiara kept me updated with pics of him running behind the kids on their bikes, she said he fit right in with them all. Most importantly to me is that she followed his face routine with no issues( eye drops, face wipes , wrinkle cream,nose balm etc ) and putting his cherry eye back into place as well.If you have an English then you know their skin routine has to be maintained, and Kiara handled it appropriately. When we picked him up first thing I noticed was how good his face and nose looked . Doak came home and took a nap. He was well taken care of ,which makes traveling for me more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be booking Kiara again for our travels out of town Thanks for caring for our boy!”
About: We are a true dog-loving family with experience caring for both large and small breeds, including our previous black Lab and Bull Mastiff mix. We currently have a friendly white Lab who loves doggy playdates and helps create a fun, social environment. Our home has a large yard for safe, supervised play, and we provide plenty of structure, attention, and affection so every dog feels at home. We also have two young children (5 and 3) who love dogs, so we’re best suited for pups who are comfortable and gentle around kids. Every dog we welcome is treated like part of our family. Availability I’m a teacher, so during June–August I’m home most of the day (aside from short errands), which allows for lots of supervision, play, and attention. During the school year (August–May), I work full-time on weekdays. Our dog is comfortable at home during the day, and I’m often able to stop home for a quick potty break (with additional help from family if needed). Dogs in our care would have access to our yard and can enjoy safe outdoor time together. Weekends, we’re mostly home and available for plenty of playtime, walks, and attention. We have fully fenced front and back yards, giving dogs plenty of safe space to run and play. Inside, dogs are part of the family—snuggles on the couch are always welcome. Our dog is crate trained, but we’re flexible based on your dog’s needs and routine. Dogs who are well-behaved can enjoy free roam in our home, as long as they’re comfortable around kids’ toys and a family environment.
“We feel so lucky to have found Amber! This is the 2nd time we booked her, and this was for about 2.5 weeks while we were traveling internationally. Amber took such good care of our pup, Boba. She was attentive to all of his needs and made sure we had plenty of updates to know how he was doing while we were traveling. She is always diligent in making sure we update her on any care changes and proactive in making sure all of Boba’s needs are met.
