Recently I have taken time away from my job to further my focus on animal studies, so I have plenty of time to look after or walk your pet on the weekdays in mornings, afternoons, and evenings! Whether it be drop in visits or you need me to stay for hours on end, I’m your girl.

I believe good instructions are at the forefront of the best care specific to your pet and attention to detail. I listen to what your pet is asking of me since after all, it is their house, not mine, and make sure to use my judgement accordingly to accommodate to whatever they may need or be asking of me. I ensure the basic necessities are always available including water, food as requested, and enrichment. When walking, I pay attention to the environment and all cues I receive from the pet to ensure the utmost comfort for us and everyone around.

A typical day
Whenever taking dogs out, I love to let them lead the day and typically this starts with a “sniffari” where we go wherever their little noses take us. I love to let the animals show me what they like to do, even at home, then I just go with the flow; it unlocks a new level of comfort which in turn builds long term trust and overall just makes them happy :)

Having had a wide variety of pets my whole life ranging from wolf dogs to horses to ducks, you learn to love the good and the bad of such high levels of detail and responsibilities. I loved it so much I eventually shaped my entire career around it. Graduating with a bachelors degree in animal sciences sets me apart from others as I present and apply myself everyday with knowledge and experience I have gained working with dogs and various species over time. Not only am I no stranger to your typical, standard pet care protocols, but my combination of life time experience and learned knowledge allow me to be familiar with how to deal with a multitude of health/behavioral issues or concerns that have risen or have yet to even be noticed.

Sameena is amazing! She was incredibly professional and took wonderful care of Luna. She easily managed Luna’s medication and even took the time to clean her eye stains, which is usually very difficult to do. I felt so comfortable leaving Luna in her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch sitter!
Sameena was wonderful! She was super communicative and was knowledgeable about cats. One of our cats warmed up to her quickly, and they got some great snuggles and love in while we were away. Can't recommend Sameena enough.
