“Thank you Jenna for your tender loving care of Alex while I was away. I know it wasn't easy, as he also started a new medication (that you picked up for me!!) along with his other meds. Just getting him to take his meds is quite a task. I will certainly contact you again the next time we are out of town. Thank you, thank you!!”

“Our dog immediately became best friends with Casey at the meet and greet which put us at ease. Casey housesat for our dog for 3 nights. When we returned home, our dog was happy, healthy, and clearly well-cared-for. It was clear that Casey followed all of Cookie’s care instructions and gave her plenty of attention. Additionally, the house was in better condition than when we left it.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family and have always been a natural dog lover. I have experience pet sitting for extended periods of time and take great care to prioritize the well-being of every pet I care for. I pay close attention to all instructions provided to ensure your pet is happy, safe, and comfortable. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet’s needs! I am a graduate student at SF State working toward my PPS credential. I balance coursework and an internship with pet care and follow a structured weekly schedule. I am best suited for dogs who are comfortable being alone during weekday work hours. I am fully open on weekends as indicated on my availability. I’m happy to discuss my availability in more detail to ensure a great fit. My level of care is dependent on the instructions I am given by the owner. I carefully review them and make sure that I have the emergency contacts for the nearest veterinarian hospital if an emergency occurs. I also make sure to have close relatives numbers and the in case of an emergency period I am responsible and a natural home body, so you can be assured that your pet will have company. I am a very clean person and believe that you should leave a place better than you found it. I carry this insight into my work I think as well. If you have any specific questions or request, please feel free to reach out to me.
“Brittany was a savior over Christmas. She took care of my flamepoint Siamese cat and a stray I have been helping without a second thought. She was so good with both of them. When I returned my Siamese cat (who has separation anxiety) was so calm and content. I could tell he was well cared for. She also sent lots of pictures and followed instructions well. Will book again!”

“Alanna was wonderful with my 11-week old puppy. She sent me pictures throughout the day and kept me informed on how he was doing. Also, she worked on reinforcing his trainer which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely book again with Alanna!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and respect I give to every pet and home. I don’t just “watch” pets — I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and comfort levels so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m especially patient with shy or sensitive dogs and focus on building trust at their pace. Whether your dog is mellow or playful, I adjust my care to match their energy and needs. I’m experienced with well-trained dogs, enjoy long walks and hikes, and prioritize safe, attentive off-leash time when appropriate. I treat every home with the same care and responsibility as I would my own and keep owners updated with thoughtful communication for peace of mind. My goal is simple: for you to return to a happy pet and a well-cared-for home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, which allows me to give pets dedicated attention before work, immediately after work, and throughout the evenings. Mornings include walks, feeding, and check-ins to start the day calmly. After work, I’m fully available for long walks, playtime, hikes, and quality one-on-one care. Evenings are relaxed and structured, focusing on companionship, routine, and comfort. On weekends, I have open availability and can provide more flexible, extended care. I prioritize consistency, reliability, and making sure each pet’s schedule is followed closely so they feel secure and at ease. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow each pet’s routine closely to keep things familiar and stress-free. I take a calm, attentive approach and never rush interactions, especially with shy or sensitive pets. I ensure secure doors and gates, use leashes unless off-leash time is specifically approved, and stay alert to surroundings during walks and outings. I treat the space with respect and care, keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, and special needs. I also provide regular updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My goal is to create a safe, trusted environment where pets feel relaxed and owners feel complete peace of mind.
“Caroline was great with our senior dachshund. She stayed with him for a weekend at our place and kept us updated on how he was doing. She was kind, thoughtful, and responsible. We will hire her again the next time we go out of town!”

“Iris was amazing and our pup loved having her with him! She is so conscientious and communicated each day with sweet updates and pictures. Iris is a wonderful house and pet sitter! Thank you Iris!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in high school. A lot of my neighbors have asked me to take care of their dogs while being out on long vacations. Most visits did not include overnight stays, but I would show up in the morning to take them for a walk and to play, come back around noon to play with them again and stay for about an hour or two, come back around dinner to make sure they were fed and walked again and stay a little longer so that the dogs were not alone when it would get darker. Especially during thunder storms! I currently have a full time job that I work at 5 days a week. However with my job I have a lot of availability to work remote so if there were any circumstances where you would need me to stay all day at your house to watch your dog I would be available to do so as long as I have a wifi connection :). I had moved from New Jersey to California, so as you can imagine I miss my family dogs everyday so I have a lot of love to give to other dogs. I live in an apartment so I will unfortunately not be able to have dogs here, however, I am willing to travel multiple times a day to the owners house to play, feed, walk and even go to parks to keep them fresh and active.
“This was our first time leaving our dog Zoey with a sitter and we were nervous to do so. As expected our dog was sad when we left but Cecilia took very good care of her during the house sitting and was attentive to her needs. Cecilia was also responsive and communicated with us updates as well as photos. We would not hesitate to book with Cecilia again!”

“Bryan was excellent in house sitting taking care of our dog! He was very attentive, very clean, and our dog got along great with Bryan. Would absolutely recommend him and hire him again!”

“Felix was awesome! He goes above and beyond my expectations without even the need to communicate anything with him. He got so friendly with my Bella, they played all the time and he was amazing at sending photos and videos so I knew how my kitty was doing. I found the place looking better than when I left and Bella looks happy and well fed and looks like she had a great time. I am so grateful for Felix”

About: I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs at every stage of life—from energetic puppies to temperamental seniors who need a gentler touch and a little extra patience. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs with a range of needs, including those with complex medical or mobility issues, and I’m comfortable following detailed care routines and administering medication when needed. I truly love dogs and treat each one as if they were my own family member. Whether it’s going for walks, keeping up with playtime, or providing calm companionship, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I work remotely and I balance a full schedule of dog sitting, boarding, and drop-in visits all week. Happy to pick up and drop off (see rates). I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and keep a close eye on pets, especially during walks, playtime, and feeding to make sure they’re safe. I’m mindful of details like securely latching gates, using leashes, and avoiding stressful situations with unfamiliar animals. Above all, I believe trust is earned through communication and consistency. I ask clarifying questions before any booking and keep owners updated with regular photos and messages so you always know your pet is doing well and being treated with love and respect.
“Lisa was great! She communicated frequently and sent photos and my pupper loved her! She made sure my puppers stuck to his feeding schedule and that he got lots of love while I was gone!”
About: Leaving your pet, and your home, in someone else’s care is an act of trust. I understand that deeply, because I’ve been on both sides of that decision. As a pet parent myself, I know how much love, worry, and responsibility are wrapped up in that moment. I don’t take it lightly. Bonus perk: I’m a passionate animal and wildlife photographer! If you’re interested, I can capture professional, frame-worthy photos of your pup while they’re in my care 📸 I’ve been caring for animals for over 17 years, beginning in childhood and growing into hands-on professional and volunteer work. I’m a certified dog trainer and have a medical background from working at a veterinary clinic in Poland, where I gained experience administering medications, giving injections, providing fluids, and carefully monitoring health and behavioral changes. In the U.S., I’m an active foster and volunteer and have helped rescue, care for, and place over 60 cats and kittens into loving homes. When you hire me, you’re also giving back: supporting ongoing rescue and foster work that is central to my life and values. I care for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, shy animals, and pets with medical or behavioral needs. I have a special place in my heart for fearful and sensitive pets. My own dog, Bowie, was very shy when I adopted him, and caring for him taught me how powerful patience, calm energy, and trust-building truly are. I live with cats and have extensive experience with multi-pet households, including thoughtful and safe dog-to-cat introductions. I always adapt my care to each individual animal: whether that means structured walks, positive reinforcement, medication support, or simply offering steady companionship and emotional safety while you’re away. I also know how vulnerable it can feel to let someone into your home. Believe me, I’ve been there. I’m extremely clean, respectful, and mindful of your space, and I treat every home with the same care and discretion I would expect in my own. I’m attentive, communicative, and happy to provide thoughtful updates and photos: not because it’s expected, but because I know how much that peace of mind matters. To me, caring for animals isn’t just a service. It’s a responsibility, a privilege, and something I approach with genuine care 🤍 I have a pretty flexible schedule since I work as a photographer and also foster cats. That means I can usually accommodate mid-day visits, evenings, and even last-minute requests. I’m used to working around different routines and happy to be flexible to fit your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’m calm, attentive, and very mindful of routines, doors, leashes, and home rules. With my background in fostering and veterinary care, I’m quick to notice changes in behavior or health and will always communicate clearly if anything feels off. I respect your home as much as your pet and aim to create a calm, low-stress environment where your animal feels safe and cared for — just like they would with you.
“Margot is a great sitter! She's taken care of my senior kitty a couple of times and does a wonderful job with all her meds. She is detail oriented and conscientious, and leaves the house as clean or even cleaner than she found it.”

Haywood Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Margot is my favorite sitter! She's detail oriented, spends tons of time with my cat, and goes above and beyond to leave my home better than she found it. When she's taking care of my home and pet, I can travel without any worries because I know she's got it covered.

Dawn treated our dog Maple like she was her own. She was extremely communicative throughout our trip and put our minds at ease. Maple was noticeably happier and calmer than we've ever seen her when we are away from home. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!

Heidi took wonderful care of Odie while we were away! She was friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. I received daily updates and photos which was comforting. She stayed in our home and we came home to a clean place! I really appreciated Heidi taking such great care of my senior buddy. Thank you!!

Cesar was very nice and responsive to our requests. He met with Honey before we left so she could get familiar with him and sent us photos and updates through the app while we were away. Honey has never been alone since she was a puppy, and Cesar was understanding to her needs and accommodations. He took good care of her and we would recommend his services to anyone else. We would definitely ask him to come dogsit for Honey again.
We had a wonderful experience with Lindsay. She took excellent care of our two dogs staying at our place and giving them plenty of attention, love, and exercise while we were away. We came home to two very happy, relaxed dogs. Communication was great, and we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs were in such reliable hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.
Brittany was a savior over Christmas. She took care of my flamepoint Siamese cat and a stray I have been helping without a second thought. She was so good with both of them. When I returned my Siamese cat (who has separation anxiety) was so calm and content. I could tell he was well cared for. She also sent lots of pictures and followed instructions well. Will book again!

This was our second time working with Bri for dog and house sitting. She was outstanding! Ours senior dog was well taken care of with plenty of walks and sofa snuggles. Bri made herself at home and treated it like her own. She is exceptionally reliable, responsible, and a loving dog sitter. Her check-ins were wonderful with plenty of pics. This was the first time I’ve traveled internationally and not worried about my dog and home! We will absolutely reach back out to her for future sittings!

We booked Jeffrey again for a 10-day stay with our three dogs, and he took fantastic care of them. This was our longest trip in a very long time, and after we left the weather turned cold. The cold aggravated our senior dog’s IVDD and old injuries, making her very grumpy and hard to handle. Jeffrey managed the situation with patience and great communication. He checked in, adjusted her medication safely, and was careful about not using the stronger dose unless needed. Our neighbor even mentioned seeing him out walking the dogs often and said, “Your dogs seemed to love him. He seems like a calm soul.” Only praises for Jeff!

Francis was a wonderful sitter and took great care of our pups and home! We were traveling in Asia and needed Francis to cover the second half of our trip since our other sitter had only partial availability. Francis was flexible to our travel plans, agreed to arrive early, and helped coordinate the transition with the other sitter. He sent frequent updates and photos, with fun and cute captions. Francis' communication was strong, from the time of booking until after wrapping up the sit. We also came home to a sparkling clean apartment! We would definitely recommend him as a sitter!

Caroline was an excellent house sitter for our dog, Kaya. She sat with Kaya for a week and we received prompt photos of Kaya who was obviously having a wonderful time in Caroline's care. When we returned from our trip our home was spotless and Kaya was relaxed and calm. We will definitely be contacting Caroline for upcoming house sits and recommend her highly for any pet care needs you may have. Thanks Caroline!
