About: Growing up with dogs has given me years of hands-on experience understanding different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I currently have an 8 year old golden retriever of my own, so caring for dogs is naturally part of my everyday life. I genuinely love being around animals and always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like they are my own. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and comfort level so they get personalized care instead of just being “watched.” I’m also very patient with high-energy dogs and understand the importance of consistency, exercise, and positive interactions. About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to spend a good amount of time at home. On days I go into the office, it’s often only for part of the day, so I’m able to be home for the rest of it. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.

About: I have a genuine love for all animals! I’ve had two dogs in the past. One I cared for until his last day and the other I took in as a puppy and whom I treat as part of the family. I’ve also had the privilege to bring home a foster kitten, which was such a gratifying experience. I am loving, patient and calm and I’m sure your pet will feel at ease with me. About: From childhood to present, I’ve had dogs at home, as well as living near a dog park at my local elementary school, so being near puppies and bigger, older dogs alike is nothing new. I always get excited to meet new dogs, as I’m able to adapt my communication style to theirs to allow all to feel comfortable. Mike grew up with a Golden Retriever named Lady and understands how to handle and care for dogs with patience and love. Lady spent her happy senior years together with our family, which gave us a lot of experience caring for an aging dog as well. Evie grew up with a Shih Tzu named Mashiro and was deeply involved in her care. Living with Mashiro taught them how sensitive and loving dogs are, and how important it is to provide gentle attention, patience, and a calm environment. We have already been caring for pets for some time and have built relationships with several private clients outside of Rover. Recently, we decided to join Rover to meet more wonderful pets and families in the community. We are always happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. We also enjoy being active, so dogs with lots of energy are absolutely welcome. Long walks, playtime, and exercise are no problem for us. We have a bicycle, which can be great for very active dogs that enjoy running. We treat every pet as if they were our own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. We have a flexible schedule and are able to spend plenty of time caring for pets throughout the day. Evie is usually at home, which allows us to give pets consistent attention, walks, and playtime. We are available for boarding on weekdays and weekends and are happy to accommodate your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel at home. We always pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, and we follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, and routines. About: I’ve been around dogs and horses since I was 12 and trained our family dog (American Bully/Siberian Husky mix) from when he was a three month old puppy. Over the past couple years I have volunteered at shelters with all types of sizes, temperaments, and breeds of dogs, and I have experience with large animals beyond dogs as well after spending over two years working with horses at a lesson barn. I am a college sophomore majoring in biology currently working at my school’s Arabian Horse Center, and I plan on working with animals in the future and am always looking for ways to make animals a bigger part of my life and to spend time doing what I love most by taking care of them. :) I am currently a student at Cal Poly Pomona with a good amount of free time outside classes that I would love to put towards doing something I love! On most weekdays and Saturdays I am able to offer walks and drop-ins early mornings, and am typically available any day for late afternoons/evenings. I can offer enrichment, walks, exercise, assist with basic training, and give care to pets in your home when you have to step outside of your home and want to ensure your pet is safe and happy in your absence.
