About: We became dog owner when a 8 weeks gold golden retriever joined our lives, and we quickly learned how to become a responsible dog parents. After her passing in 2021, we realized life is too short to live without a furry family member. So we brought a golden doodle puppy, Kuli, to join our lives. We are looking to help and support other 4 legs friends. Because we are either take care of all pups together or rotate, we never left them alone without human monitoring for even a single minute to make sure they are safe and have company. We currently take Kuli out for walk 3-4 times a day (weather permitted), and includes a fetching session for 30-60 min in the late afternoon. We also have web cam in our home. We provide organic carrot, sweet potato, or fruits for snacks. We have a fenced backyard, and we were dog parents for more than 10 years now. We had been to dog training classes, and know how to handle dogs in the park, hikes, and other social situation. We know that dogs need enough exercise, not just walking.

About: I've been around animals almost my whole life. I volunteered at an animal shelter in high school, have had cats of my own since 2013, pet sat cats and dogs for friends and family, and have had experience raising kittens as well as experience in TNR. Starting in late August I will be unable to visit your pet between 8am-12:30pm during the week as I am a part time preschool teacher. However, I can spend all weekend taking care of your pet. Even though I am working part time, I am more than happy to spend as much time as possible with your pet when you're not able to so they have company until you return home! “Keira had a fantastic stay with Margaret and her pack! I was nervous to leave our 4mo German Shepherd pup with someone so soon after getting her, and for 10 days to boot. Margaret made me feel confident that she had it covered and Keira integrated nicely into their pack. I appreciate that Margaret had a consistent schedule, providing structure for Keira, and I received a steady stream of fun updates--photos, videos, anecdotes--that made me smile and put me at ease. I love that Keira became close with one of her dogs, Ranger, and I felt very good about her getting consistent socialization at her young age. Keira came back having learned the 'down' command, jumping up less frequently, and being more disciplined than when we left her. Such a relief to have a dependable dog guru available to care for her. Super grateful to Margaret and excited to be able to book her again for stays in the future.”
“Mike and his wife are experienced and knowledgable in dog training and how to take care of them. Mike's place is perfect because our 1.5 y.o. female golden is dog-reactive and fearful of things, so no other dog can board or play with her. He invited us for a meet-and-greet before the actual boarding, informs us their routine and how she wouldn't be left alone in the house. The place is fenced with no doorbell, has a big crate and big bed for dog. The dog won't be allowed in the bedroom. During the actual boarding, he sent us a few pictures per day with updates on our dog's well being. She looked happy and seemed to enjoy the time there with them and learned to behave. Mike got her to walk nicely without a head halter collar. We are very happy with her first boarding and will recommend Mike to anyone we know.”
