About: I've been around animals almost my whole life. I volunteered at an animal shelter in high school, have had cats of my own since 2013, pet sat cats and dogs for friends and family, and have had experience raising kittens as well as experience in TNR. Starting in late August I will be unable to visit your pet between 8am-12:30pm during the week as I am a part time preschool teacher. However, I can spend all weekend taking care of your pet. Even though I am working part time, I am more than happy to spend as much time as possible with your pet when you're not able to so they have company until you return home! As a life long animal lover, I understand pets are more than just an animal, but they're part of the family. I take time to get to know each pet and will do all I can to ensure that they are always safe in my care, whether during a walk or pet sitting in your home.

About: We are a couple who genuinely love animals and enjoy caring for them together. Mike grew up with a Golden Retriever named Lady and understands how to handle and care for dogs with patience and love. Lady spent her happy senior years together with our family, which gave us a lot of experience caring for an aging dog as well. Evie grew up with a Shih Tzu named Mashiro and was deeply involved in her care. Living with Mashiro taught her how sensitive and loving dogs are, and how important it is to provide gentle attention, patience, and a calm environment. We have already been caring for pets for some time and have built relationships with several private clients outside of Rover. Recently, we decided to join Rover to meet more wonderful pets and families in the community. We are always happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. We also enjoy being active, so dogs with lots of energy are absolutely welcome. Long walks, playtime, and exercise are no problem for us. We have a bicycle, which can be great for very active dogs that enjoy running. We treat every pet as if they were our own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. We provide high quality pictures for your pets when you write a review! We have a flexible schedule and are able to spend plenty of time caring for pets throughout the day. Evie is usually at home, which allows us to give pets consistent attention, walks, and playtime. We are available for boarding on weekdays and weekends and are happy to accommodate your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel at home. We always pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, and we follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, and routines. We are also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little. I've cared for my own throughout the years as well as walked, house sat, and cared for many others' dogs! My work schedule is different every week but I get mine typically a month ahead of time and can plan accordingly. I'm open to scheduling same day or ahead of time if time allows. As long as care instructions are provided, I will happily follow what is needed for your pet. I believe communication and safety is most important!

I work remotely throughout the week and have a flexible schedule. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure each pet gets attention and affection. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and make time for. In my home, pets have a safe, cozy space where they’ll have plenty attention and playtime. I live by parks and have a lot of space for walks! I also make sure to follow usual routines as closely as possible, including, walks, and bedtime routines (to help them feel at ease). About: Dogs have always been a large part of my life, whether the pups were my own, my roommate’s, or my friends’. Currently, I don't have any fur babies of my own and this is the longest I've lived without one in my life, so I’m hoping that caring for your fur babies will help tide me over until I'm able to get one of my own! I have a lot of love and attention I’d love to shower your fur baby with, but I also have a lot of patience and persistence for those who need a more determined approach. I have experience working with big and small breeds and younger and senior mutts, as well as Boxers, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, Labradors, German Shepherds, and Golden Retrievers. For the past year I’ve been volunteering with the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA for the past year, working specifically with reactive and fearful dogs. About: When my dog was tragically killed by a person after 5 years I have lots of experience and love dogs to get over my first one. About: Since I was 7 years old, I grew up with dogs and they have become my very best friends. About 10 years ago, our senior dog, Biggie, guided me to Rover. He loved to meet new friends. Being with us for 18 years, Biggie knew it was his time to say good-bye and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. His legacy of looking at the world through love has taught me many great lessons! Same goes for all the Dogs I've crossed paths with! The connections and the special bonds that I made with my Rover dog buddies over the years have been one of the most amazing experiences! *I understand 1000% about the feeling of leaving your dog when you have to go away or when he/she is home alone for long periods of time. Drop-in & dog walking: Please reach out to me regarding dates so I can share my schedule for that time. Your doggy will never be left home alone when staying with us! Either me or my husband will be home if one of us has to go out. Or, if your dog enjoys car rides he/she is welcome to join depending on where we are going and factoring weather conditions. I am very open minded, communicative, honest, trustworthy, and head over heels for animals. You will receive pictures and updates everyday during your doggie’s stay!
