About: I've been around animals almost my whole life. I volunteered at an animal shelter in high school, have had cats of my own since 2013, pet sat cats and dogs for friends and family, and have had experience raising kittens as well as experience in TNR. Starting in late August I will be unable to visit your pet between 8am-12:30pm during the week as I am a part time preschool teacher. However, I can spend all weekend taking care of your pet. Even though I am working part time, I am more than happy to spend as much time as possible with your pet when you're not able to so they have company until you return home! As a life long animal lover, I understand pets are more than just an animal, but they're part of the family. I take time to get to know each pet and will do all I can to ensure that they are always safe in my care, whether during a walk or pet sitting in your home.

About: We are a couple who genuinely love animals and enjoy caring for them together. Mike grew up with a Golden Retriever named Lady and understands how to handle and care for dogs with patience and love. Lady spent her happy senior years together with our family, which gave us a lot of experience caring for an aging dog as well. Evie grew up with a Shih Tzu named Mashiro and was deeply involved in her care. Living with Mashiro taught her how sensitive and loving dogs are, and how important it is to provide gentle attention, patience, and a calm environment. We have already been caring for pets for some time and have built relationships with several private clients outside of Rover. Recently, we decided to join Rover to meet more wonderful pets and families in the community. We are always happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. We also enjoy being active, so dogs with lots of energy are absolutely welcome. Long walks, playtime, and exercise are no problem for us. We have a bicycle, which can be great for very active dogs that enjoy running. We treat every pet as if they were our own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. We provide high quality pictures for your pets when you write a review! We have a flexible schedule and are able to spend plenty of time caring for pets throughout the day. Evie is usually at home, which allows us to give pets consistent attention, walks, and playtime. We are available for boarding on weekdays and weekends and are happy to accommodate your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel at home. We always pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, and we follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, and routines. We are also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away.
“I wanted to share a review about a longer booking for my mildly undersocialized cat, Cali. I had a mandatory >2-week trip away from her that was really pushing my comfort zone and weighing on me, and Bo went above and beyond in ensuring that Cali felt safe and loved during this time. This obviously made my life so much easier as well! Thank you, Bo, for being a trusted partner to furry friends and their anxious owners alike!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little. I've cared for my own throughout the years as well as walked, house sat, and cared for many others' dogs! My work schedule is different every week but I get mine typically a month ahead of time and can plan accordingly. I'm open to scheduling same day or ahead of time if time allows. As long as care instructions are provided, I will happily follow what is needed for your pet. I believe communication and safety is most important!
“Chloe took great care of our cat Eleven while we were away. She was very kind, cleaned up eleven‘s vomit, and spent time playing with him to keep him happy. We really appreciated her help and would definitely recommend her to others!”

About: I care for every pet like family, making sure they feel safe and loved - especially when their humans/ best friends are away. I have experience with animals of all ages and sizes, including senior pets who might need extra patience, mobility support, or medicine. Whether it’s a long walk, a cozy overnight stay, or drop-in, I adapt to each pet’s routine and personality to make their time with me feel as comfortable as possible! I work remotely throughout the week and have a flexible schedule. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and making sure each pet gets attention and affection. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and make time for. In my home, pets have a safe, cozy space where they’ll have plenty attention and playtime. I live by parks and have a lot of space for walks! I also make sure to follow usual routines as closely as possible, including, walks, and bedtime routines (to help them feel at ease). In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure to get aligned to their expectations and routines. I make sure pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for!

About: Dogs have always been a large part of my life, whether the pups were my own, my roommate’s, or my friends’. Currently, I don't have any fur babies of my own and this is the longest I've lived without one in my life, so I’m hoping that caring for your fur babies will help tide me over until I'm able to get one of my own! I have a lot of love and attention I’d love to shower your fur baby with, but I also have a lot of patience and persistence for those who need a more determined approach. I have experience working with big and small breeds and younger and senior mutts, as well as Boxers, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, Labradors, German Shepherds, and Golden Retrievers. For the past year I’ve been volunteering with the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA for the past year, working specifically with reactive and fearful dogs. Prior to that I’ve volunteered at shelters all over the world.
About: I've taken care of pets of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to check in, feed, and play with their pets. I'm working from home so I have flexibility to walk and play with your pets! I'm available during the day on weekdays with limited time on the weekends. I’ll follow your suggestion and instructions for the best take care of your pets. You can trust I will do my best to entertain your pets.
About: Hi! I’ve been a parent to my current pups for ten years, from puppies to their early senior years. I have experience with disabled dogs (Nemo is three legged+epileptic), active dogs, and fearful dogs. I have 4 years of volunteer experience at animal shelters as an assistant dog trainer and shelter dog socializer, so I’m comfortable with the whole spectrum of pup personalities! I have a flexible work calendar, so I can work around your schedule. Fridays and weekends are great for outings, especially if they like hikes or long walks For simplicity, I like to keep my dogs at home so I can give yours all the attention they need. If you want them socialized, I’m more than happy to take them to the dog park or a public park nearby. Of course, I will only do what you & your dog are 100% comfortable with

About: I have 3+ years of hands-on experience caring for my two cats, and I regularly look after a friend’s Shiba Inu for about a month each year. I’m a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and fluent in English. 欢迎全程使用中文沟通,包括见面了解、照护说明和每次服务后的照片与情况更新。 I’m comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, walks, playtime, and following detailed care routines. Living with a shy cat has taught me to be patient, read pets’ body language, and let them approach at their own pace. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, energy, behavior, and litter box habits. I’ll also provide clear photo updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule and can provide drop-in visits and dog walks on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I limit my daily bookings so I can arrive on time, follow each pet’s routine carefully, and give every pet my full attention. I keep my Rover calendar updated and appreciate at least one day’s notice from new clients so we have time to confirm care instructions and arrange a Meet & Greet when needed. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home and follow each owner’s instructions closely. Before the first booking, I prefer a Meet & Greet to review feeding, water, litter boxes, walking routines, home access, emergency contacts, and any health or behavioral needs. During every visit, I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep dogs leashed outdoors, avoid interactions with unfamiliar animals, and respect your home. I also send photos and detailed updates about your pet’s food, water, bathroom habits, energy, and behavior.
About: When my dog was tragically killed by a person after 5 years I have lots of experience and love dogs to get over my first one. Anytime after 6 in the weekdays and weekends Im open but feel free to hit me up you may never know I might be free Since I had a dog I have lots of stuff for dogs and I will continue to buy them. Like pillows and food and toys.

About: Since I was 7 years old, I grew up with dogs and they have become my very best friends. About 10 years ago, our senior dog, Biggie, guided me to Rover. He loved to meet new friends. Being with us for 18 years, Biggie knew it was his time to say good-bye and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. His legacy of looking at the world through love has taught me many great lessons! Same goes for all the Dogs I've crossed paths with! The connections and the special bonds that I made with my Rover dog buddies over the years have been one of the most amazing experiences! *I understand 1000% about the feeling of leaving your dog when you have to go away or when he/she is home alone for long periods of time. Trust me that I've been through it too and it was never easy for me. That is why I want you to feel at ease and confident that you can put your trust in me. Drop-in & dog walking: Please reach out to me regarding dates so I can share my schedule for that time. Your doggy will never be left home alone when staying with us! Either me or my husband will be home if one of us has to go out. Or, if your dog enjoys car rides he/she is welcome to join depending on where we are going and factoring weather conditions. I am very open minded, communicative, honest, trustworthy, and head over heels for animals. You will receive pictures and updates everyday during your doggie’s stay! I also have over 35 years of experience and knowledge caring for senior dogs, dogs w/ special needs, and puppies. I am committed to going above and beyond with undivided attention, safety, unconditional love & respect. I am responsible with following owner’s exact instructions- walk, feed, play, what to be mindful of, where they like to be pet, fears…what makes them feel safe, comfortable and happy. (Boarding/Daycare) My priority when caring for your puppy is creating a safe, comfortable, and happy space for everyone who walks through my door. My home is love and happiness…and clean! We have a beautiful, safe and private enclosed backyard for sunbathing. Our new neighborhood is open, clean, grassy, and safe when walking dogs! We also love when dogs sleep on our bed and they are always welcome on furniture. If you prefer they sleep in a crate, their own bed or separate, that’s fine too.

Patrycja is Chicken Nuggets favorite sitter. She takes amazing care of him when I am out of town, and secretively I think Chicken Nugget wishes she was around more often. Her love of animals is reciprocated by animals love of her! She is very communicative and keeps us updated with amazing photos and videos. We are so lucky to have her!

Alessio was great! We had a last minute need for care and he responded promptly and professionally, so willing to help. Our dogs have a lot of energy with guests but they calmed down very quickly and settled in for a night while we were out. We came home to calm and happy dogs!

I had a great experience with Bergen. She genuinely cared for my cat and was incredibly attentive to her. She also went above and beyond to help with things outside of her duties, which I really appreciated. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. I'll definitely be booking her again and would highly recommend her!

Yiheng took wonderful care of our little Opal while we were away! She really went above and beyond - keeping Opal happy and comfortable, and leaving everything spotless when we got home. Knowing Opal was in such good hands gave us total peace of mind. She also sent the best photo updates for each visit!!

Thank you, Xilin and Xiang, for taking such good care of Bobo during your drop-ins. You did a great job playing with her, brushing her, cleaning her litter box. We really appreciated the detailed notes and all the photos after each visit. It was great to know how Bobo was doing while we were away. We’ll definitely book your drop-ins again next time. Thank you!

Highly recommend Jas! Every visit has been so easy and the updates we get are super informative. We had an issue where our cat had a hairball (typical!) and Jas let us know promptly and gave us feeding updates as the cat recovered. Great professionalism and feedback!

Linda took wonderful care of Qiuqiu again! She is patient, attentive, and caring, and sent us lots of photos and videos every day. We came home to a happy and well-cared-for cat. So grateful to have someone we trust while we’re away. Highly recommend and we will reach out to her again in the future.❤️

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
