About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature. I grew up with a dog and a duck, and have continuously lived in homes with cats and dogs through college and graduate school, so I’m very comfortable with their routines and behavior. I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand the importance of consistency, attention, and keeping pets on their normal schedule. I also have three tortoises of my own, including one I’ve had for nearly 23 years, which has made me especially attentive to routines, environment, and long-term care. I am currently volunteering at the Kitten Nursery with the Peninsula Humane Society, where I help taking care of kittens too young for adoption. I have a very flexible schedule through freelance consulting work, which allows me to be available for pet care most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends.
