About: I have two years of daily, hands-on experience caring for my own dog, Kylie. She is energetic but can be shy in unfamiliar situations, so I have learned to read a dog’s body language, give them time to adjust, and build trust without forcing interaction. In addition to caring for Kylie, I regularly help care for my friends’ dogs when they are away. This has given me experience following different feeding, walking, playtime, and bathroom routines and caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I am patient, attentive, and careful about following each owner’s instructions. I will treat your dog with the same care I give my own and provide regular photo and message updates while you are away. I currently have a flexible schedule, so I am able to plan my day around pet care and provide consistent attention rather than rushing between visits. I am generally available on weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care depending on the booking. I will confirm my availability before accepting each request and make sure I have enough time to follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, playtime, and bathroom routine. I provide care in my client’s home, where pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment. Before the booking, I prefer to have a meet and greet to learn about each pet’s personality, routine, care instructions, and any special needs. I carefully follow the owner’s directions for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication. I pay close attention when entering or leaving the home and always check that doors, windows, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure. I will never let a pet off leash or introduce them to unfamiliar animals without the owner’s permission. I respect my client’s home, keep the pet’s space clean, and maintain their usual routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular photos and updates and will contact the owner promptly if I notice any unusual behavior or health concerns.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature. I grew up with a dog and a duck, and have continuously lived in homes with cats and dogs through college and graduate school, so I’m very comfortable with their routines and behavior. I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand the importance of consistency, attention, and keeping pets on their normal schedule. I also have three tortoises of my own, including one I’ve had for nearly 23 years, which has made me especially attentive to routines, environment, and long-term care. I am currently volunteering at the Kitten Nursery with the Peninsula Humane Society, where I help taking care of kittens too young for adoption. I have a very flexible schedule through freelance consulting work, which allows me to be available for pet care most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate a variety of schedules, whether it’s regular visits or last-minute needs. The only consistent commitment I have is volunteering on Monday afternoons at the Peninsula Humane Society, but outside of that, I’m highly flexible and able to adjust to your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter box or cleanup routines, exercise, and any specific preferences your pet is used to. I take a calm and patient approach, especially with shy or more independent pets, and make sure they feel comfortable in their own space. I also keep the home clean and organized, and treat it with the same respect I would my own. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or health and will communicate updates regularly so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for 20+ years. I grew up with a cat and 2 dogs, rode horses, volunteered at animal shelters, and we currently have 2 tuxedo kitties. I have been volunteering with local animals shelters for the past 10+ years; mainly dogs, cats, and small animals. I usually opt to support pet care (feeding, kennel cleaning, walks) and recently I have been supporting surgeries (spays, neuter, etc). From all of my experiences, I’ve found that patience, respect, and kindess are the pillars to good interactions with animals. The most important thing to me will always be the well-being of your pet. I’m available weekdays for visits, walks, and care. Not able to do boarding or home sits at this time. I will respect your space as if it was my own; no shoes in the house, leave things cleaner than you found it, pet-safety conscientious (ex food risks). When visiting your pets they’ll have my undivided attention and you have my promise to thoroughly review any instructions; big or small.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, from my own to those of friends and family. I’m patient, observant of both new and normal behaviors, and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors with them. I’m comfortable following specific routines and instructions, and I take pride in being reliable and communicative with pet owners. I’m available for multiple walks on most weekends and for afternoon walks Monday through Friday. I’m an early riser (and I’m also on a hybrid schedule for work being in office MWTh), so with advance notice I’m happy to accommodate early morning walks between 6:30–8:00 AM. At this time, I focus exclusively on dog walking and do not offer in-home or boarding services. During walks, I prioritize each dog’s safety, comfort, and routine, and I’m always attentive, patient, and communicative with pet owners :)

About: I grew up with labs and lab mixes. I have trained dogs previously. I spent several years volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind. Animals have always been very comfortable with me. I am currently looking for work, so I have a flexible schedule. I am able to be available as needed. I understand people's lives are busy, so I try to be flexible for the dog/cat's needs. I respect their home. I treat their home as if it's my own. I respect their fur baby's space. I would never harm an animal, especially one that's part of the family.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, I am an animal person to the core. I have free time and would love to take care of your dog and provide my dog with a friend, win-win! I believe in sending LOTS of photos and updates, and making sure your animal baby is safe and happy while you are away! Your animal baby will be cared for as if they are my own. My fiancé and I both work from hom and our dog is 4 years old and super friendly. If your dog wants a friend to walk with or have a play date with or just stay the night, let me know :)! I'm taking time off from work and I'm free all the time. As for a routine, I take my dog for atleast 3 walks a day. We also go on trails hikes or to the beach. I treat any pet like it's my own. Having another dog around would be great! I communicate with my customers for any specifics or special requests within reason.

About: I have taken care of and been around many dogs since childhood. Growing up, my first dog was a Jack Russell Terrier. We got him in 2009 and he lived a happy active life until 2021. In 2022, I adopted an Australian Cattle/Great Dane mix. I also have experience caring for and looking after Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Maltese, Pitbulls, and Dachshunds. My schedule is highly flexible! I am able to switch my schedule to my client's needs to make sure their pet is taken care of. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and most holidays. My dog is super friendly and loves having doggy friends around. I am able to go on long walks and spend time doing enriching activities.

About: Have volunteered at a cat shelter for six years with young and senior kitties, and have had puppies all my life! Very comfortable with the grouchiest or shyest of the bunch. I focus on socializing and enriching activities so that your kiddos can go straight to a nap after I leave. Happy to do some cleaning during my visit to keep things tidy. Laid off right now and apart from studying for a certification, I'm home and available for visits! My radius is set small so I should be a max ~10 min drive away, easy :-) When doing home visits it's important to me to show respect for you and your home while you're gone. Open to following any additional non-pet instructions to keep your home fresh!

About: I have my own dog, Kaeda who recently turned 7! My family & I adopted her when she was just months old, so I have experience with young puppies as well! I’ve also taken care of my friends and family’s dogs & have recent experience in house sitting cats. I loved all my experiences so much, I want to give back and offer it to my community as well! :) I currently work part-time Mon, Tues, Fri from 10-7 so those days would be a little different. I’d wake up at 8am to carry out my morning routine with my dog on the days I work. After work, I like to go out for walks with my own dog and play with her & her toys before ending my day. My off days would follow a similar schedule but with a lesser gap in the middle of the day which I would spend with my dog :) Depending on what a specific pet’s needs are, I can cater to being more or less active with them. Generally, I like keep my pet active throughout the day by going on walks / playing with toys / sunbathing and I give them space if needed. I also value cleanliness by always wiping my dog down before and after going outside or providing baths when needed.

About: I grew up with dogs (a Golden Retriever and Terrier mix) and have since dog sat for many families throughout the years. I love an excuse to walk and spend time outdoors. My children are also very active and enjoy having a dog in our home so your dog is guaranteed a lot of attention, playtime and love. My children are ages 25 (a grad student at UC Davis), 22 (just graduated from UCSC and 18 (living at home and attending community college). I recently moved into an apartment so I no longer have a yard but we do have a nice street view that dogs really enjoy. I have to be mindful of noise having neighbors downstairs and next-door so if your dog tends to bark a lot my home may not be the best fit. Addition services: we had a bunny for 13 years that I really miss. We also offering bunny sitting for neutered and vaccinated buns. I currently work part time at a major airline (4 hours per day) and I typically work 5 days per week giving me plenty of time to spend with your pet. There is usually someone at home either me or my children. We do not have any pets of our own and I only watch one pet at a time. I make sure that everyone in my home is mindful of keeping the door closed.
