About: Hi! My name is Blessy, and Iâve always had a love for animals. As a cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets while youâre away. Iâm patient, responsible, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, including feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, administering basic medications, and following specific care instructions. I treat every pet as if they were my own and am happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while youâre away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, Iâm committed to providing personalized care and attention. I currently work part time, which allows me flexibility to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I am available for drop in visits, walks, and pet sitting before and after work, as well as on many weekends. I understand the importance of maintaining your petâs routine and will always do my best to accommodate their schedule and needs. I provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while youâre away. Your petâs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I take the time to learn each petâs personality and boundaries to help them feel comfortable and secure. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust is, and I will treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while youâre away.
âLisa has been so patient and gentle with my dog! She sends me multiple pictures and you can tell my dog is getting comfortable with her (which says a lot, my dog is very shy!!)â

âCheryll is awesome. She truly cares about the dogs she walks. She gave my pups a great walk and was very responsive and followed my instructions perfectly. I will definitely use her again as a dog walker, and would highly recommend her to any dog parents out there.â

âYvonne was fantastic in her care of my Shih Tzu. I reviewed the security footage when she came over to pick up my dogs for their walk. I saw a very loving person be patient and kind to my dog. I could tell she loves dogs and gave my dogs pets and comfort as Lia wasnât familiar with her. Yvonne was punctual and provided pic of my dogs during their walk. I would highly recommend Yvonne if you have any need for your dog.â

âGracy has been amazing. She started off doing weekly walks with our dog, Skye, and our son's dog, Loki. Skye is very independent so I wasn't sure how Gracy was going to handle it, but Gracy ended up being the perfect person for Skye! My wife and I went on a 6 day cruise and needed someone to take Skye out while our son was at work. Gracy eagerly agreed. Our grandkids also stopped by several times during our trip and told us that Skye was sad and didn't want to come out of her kennel. But when I saw the pictures that Gracy sent us while taking Skye on walks everyday, I knew that our girl was in good hands. Thank you so much Gracy, you are one of Skye's favorite people.â

âElena is wonderful. Very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors (was trained as a vet). She immediately noticed things about our dog. She is very friendly, punctual, and took our dog out when it was pouring rain outside, and did it with a smile.â

About: Iâve been around dogs most of my life and grew up helping care for three family dogsâa German Shepherd/Husky (Wong), a Rottweiler (Choi), and a Border Collie mix (Bella)âfrom ages 10â21. That experience gave me a strong understanding of different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. Iâm comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walking, and providing consistent structure, and I always aim to make dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I miss my dogs dearly and helping you would help fill in that void. My schedule is very flexible, and work from home. On my days off, I enjoy going on long walks, hiking, and relaxing with Netflix. I live in a clean, spacious, pet-friendly one-bedroom apartment. I can also set up safety gates to keep pets out of the kitchen while I'm cooking, ensuring they stay safe from any food or spills. I'm located near trails and plenty of green space, providing great opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I currently have an open schedule. Whether if you need a sitter for date night, going on a vacation, or even if you need a break from life, I am your guy! I have a big apartment with my fiancĂŠe and have plenty of walking areas in the peninsula. I can also take your dog to great highway for a long walk or even hangout at the beach!

About: Iâve taken care of animals since I was 13 years old, and have had cats and dogs for my entire adult life. I have helped friends and family take care of their pets for just as long. I love animals, and their well-being is my utmost priority. I have extensive experience and knowledge on what pets need from experience with my own pets and taking care of pets for others. When I am traveling or need to be away from home for any reason, my main concern is always whether my cats and dogs are happy and getting everything they need. My mission is to do everything I can to give you the worry-free experience I would want myself. I am self-employed, so my schedule is flexible around what you and your pet(s) need. I am available at most times of the day and on weekends/holidays. I understand that every petâs need can differ based on the situation. I will care for your pet according to his/her individual need.
About: Iâve lived with dogs my whole life- including three Central Asian Shepherds, a Caucasian Shepherd, and a small Toy Terrier. I donât currently have a dog, so I truly enjoy spending time with pets and giving them attention and care. Pet care has always been an important part of my daily routine. Whether it's feeding, walking, or playing with my own pets, or pet-sitting for friends and family, I make sure to prioritize the needs of the animals in my care. I understand the importance of consistent attention and effort in maintaining a happy and healthy pet, and am committed to providing that care. If providing pet-sitting services in the client's home, I ensure the pets have adequate food, water, and exercise, and maintain a clean and safe environment. If providing dog-walking services, I take the dogs on a safe and enjoyable walk while adhering to any specific instructions provided by the owner. Regardless of the service, I always prioritize the well-being and comfort of the pets in my care.

About: Hi, I have ten years of experience caring for dogs. My beloved Rover (German Sherpeherd and Rottweiler mix) passed away last year due to ailment. He lived for 11 years. I also used to work in Nevada and was taking care of two Chihuahua beauties. Please be mindful of the fact that all dogs were rescue dogs. My Rover was rescued from Oakland. My co worker couldn't afford to take care of the Chihuahuas due to medical bills so I stepped in to help for the year I was in Nevada. Recently, on my vacation in Costa Rica, I managed to rescue a Beagle mix puppy from a construction worker who said he found her in a box on the street!!!! I asked my father in law if he had space for her in his house in Costa Rica and amazingly he agreed. Needless to say, I love dogs and have experience with small and big dogs. My wife, kids, and I share the same love for dogs.
About: While I have yet to have any pets of my own, pets have always been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Between friends' and family members' dogs, I've built a lifetime of genuine hands-on experience. My style is calm and nurturing. I'm not here to rush your pup or overstimulate them. I'm here to make them feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I have a particular soft spot for small dogs and know how much trust it takes to hand over a little one. You'll always get updates and photos, and your dog will always get my full, undivided attention. I'm currently on summer break and have an open schedule to build my day around bookings. My availability will shift from week to week, but my calendar is always up to date with my availability. Your home is your dog's safe space, and I treat it that way. During drop-in visits and house sitting, I ensure I follow your routines to the T: feeding schedules, sleep spots, walk routes, quirks and all. I believe consistency is the kindest thing you can offer a dog when their owner is away, so I make it my job to keep things as normal as possible. I'm attentive by nature and take pet safety seriously. Doors stay closed, leashes stay on, and your dog's comfort always takes priority over convenience. If anything seems off, whether behaviorally or physically, you'll hear from me right away. I'd rather over-communicate than leave you guessing.

âMeghann was absolutely amazing with our dog! Our dog can be a bit shy, but she loved Meghann right away! Meghann gave our dog her daily walks and spent time making sure she was settled and taken care of. We will definitely book with Meghann again! â¤ď¸â

About: I adopted my first rescue puppy over 19 years ago. Our most recent adoption turned out to be quite the handful. She's extremely reactive and is very anxious around strangers. I've learned so much from caring for her that I know I can care for any dog no matter their personality. I work from home so I'm available everyday and on the weekends too. I'm also self-employed so I set my own schedule and can take walk breaks whenever I like. Our house has a fully fenced in backyard. We also have an extra room that's separate from the rest of the house if your dog needs their own space.
âAnna showed up for me in a pinchâ I needed help amidst unpacking from a move while my puppy showed signs of needing a little more help adjusting. She walked my young one and brought him back happy as can be! Anna is super professional and polite to work with, I couldn't ask for better communication. Thank you Anna!â

About: I've had dogs my whole life â that's 29 years of hands-on experience caring for them at every stage. Growing up around both working and non-working dogs gave me a well-rounded understanding of different breeds, temperaments, and needs. I currently have a dog of my own, so your pup will always be in the care of someone who genuinely lives and breathes this. As an added bonus, my sister is a veterinarian â so I bring not just personal experience, but a household full of professional-level knowledge when it comes to your pet's health and wellbeing. I work from home on weekdays, which means your pet is never far from someone who cares. I'm available for drop-in visits throughout the day as long as I can bring my laptop, and I'm free for walks Monday through Friday from 2:30â7pm. Weekends are more flexible, and I'm happy to house sit with advance notice. Having a work-from-home setup is honestly a perk for the pets I care for - there's always a calm, present person nearby. I'm no stranger to multi-dog households as I live with my own dog alongside my family's two dogs, so I'm comfortable managing the dynamics that come with multiple pets under one roof. I have hands-on experience with crate training and potty training, and I've cared for dogs in all kinds of setups: yards, apartments, you name it. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I actually prefer caring for dogs in their own environment as familiar surroundings mean less stress for your pet, and I'm there to keep their routine as normal as possible. It's the setup where I do my best work.
About: What sets me apart is the amount of patience, attention, and care I give every pet. I understand that every dog has a different personality, comfort level, and routine, so I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Iâm reliable, communicative, and attentive to details like feeding schedules, exercise needs, behavior changes, and giving pets plenty of affection and companionship while their owners are away. Iâm comfortable caring for both cats and dogs and adapting to their individual routines and personalities. I also understand the importance of trust when caring for someoneâs pet, so I make sure owners stay updated with photos, messages, and clear communication. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide dependable care and give pets the attention they need. I make sure walks, feedings, potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins are done consistently and on time. Iâm also communicative and provide updates so owners feel comfortable while away. I prioritize your petâs comfort by sticking to their routines and any special instructions so they feel calm, cared for, and comfortable while youâre away.

Marisela was wonderful! I was in town for a month for work and she was so helpful walking my dog regularly while I was in the office. She was very flexible and responsive, and I could tell she put a lot of care in what she does. My dog loved the walks and I really appreciated the frequent pictures and updates! I would highly recommend booking her for your needs.

Esther did an outstanding job walking Mac who is very particular! She was kind and caring with him and communicated well when she and I needed to adjust the schedule slightly. I highly recommend Esther for your pet care needs!!! Thank you Esther for taking care of my fur baby MacGyver â¤ď¸đđ

My dog and I have been so happy we found Perry. Perry does an amazing job walking, playing and monitoring Ocean. Ocean has. a chronic GI condition and also wants to eat anything he can get to in the house or on walks. I've had a hard time finding someone who can really care for my dog. Perry Is extremely talented at looking out for things Ocean can get at. He also does an excellent job of redirecting If my dog starts having episodes of leash reactivity. It is evident Perry has strong training taking care of dogs. I appreciate that he listens carefully to what the plan is when he drops in and the thorough report and pictures. Best of all, my dog is really happy whenever he sees Perry. I am extremely comfortable knowing Perry can take great care of my mischievous and often sick dog.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
