“Marcus would be a great pet sitter! I would feel completely at ease if I was traveling and Marcus was caring for my 4 legged pals. He is focused on their comfort, safety, exercise, and even likes to teach them a trick or two if they are into that. He takes them on multiple walks to a variety of places so your pup will have a vacation too! There are no off limits furniture in Marcus' house. Dogs snooze on the sofa and sleep in the bed with him if that is what they want. He watches what the dogs eat, no owner wants a pup with an upset stomach on their return! He talks to them probably a lot like you do but just in a different voice. Likely he will regale his dog guests with stories of pups from his past and present that have made him into the dog lover he is--Noel the Standard Poodle during Marcus' formative years, Cosmo the Pointer who could earn a college degree given his smarts or star in a movie as a regular dog given his ordinary looks, Sophie who was a beautiful spirited dog that he spent 9-11 with, Stelly with her famous fancy tail that can serve as an A/C when she wags it, and WonTon who is named after a favorite person who loved the noodle. Marcus' world is a better place with dogs in it. Leave your dogs with Marcus and do not worry. The dogs will not feel abandoned. They will have interaction and when they see you again they will say--"Marcus is A-OK!! Thanks for letting me hang out with him!"”

About: I’ve owned cats since I was 7 years old and currently have been volunteering at the SPCA on Rollins Road in the Bay Area for about 3 years now. I now live with my crazy orange kitty Archie! I go to work most days so drop in visits are preferred! But house sitting is also available as long as I can leave a for a little and come back to take care of your furry friends! I can bring treats, toys, and anything else your furry friends need to feel safe and trusted when I am taking care of them and spending time.

“I can not speak highly enough about the care and love Jennifer has shown all my pets! For more than a decade she has been part of the lives of two of my dogs and my cat and I am so grateful for every minute. I live part time out of the country and when I am away, she stays in my home and treats them as they were her own. This summer our very old cat got ill while we were away. Jennifer let us know immediately and arranged for her to see a vet. She made sure she received fluids and medication and was comfortable until we could get home to be with her. This is something that I hope no pet-sitter has to go through, but I am so grateful if someone had to, it was someone who not only acted in the most responsible way, but also in the most caring. “I went on vacation and asked Hazel to take care of my cat Rosa for the weekend. She kept me updated on how my cat was doing. Rosa is sometime too much and is hard to handle but Hazel was able to manage. I would definitely ask to watch over Rosa again”

“Trisha is an amazing sitter and my go to person for my 21lb dog Frankie, he absolutely loves her and I’m at peace when he’s with her. She’s dependable and sends regular updates on everything from feedings, walks, to even changes in bowel (his bowel sometimes changes when he’s stressed). Her communication is top-notch! She prioritizes playtime and outdoor activities to keep him stimulated. Her previous experience as a dog owner allows her to tailor the care based on the needs and know what to look out for if something comes up. She’s even cared for him while he recovered from an illness and was on medication. My dog is very expressive with who he likes and will immediately go into happy play mode when he sees her. 10 paw-stars overall!”
