About: I've been pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10 years old and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm also a Registered Veterinary Technician with over six years of experience in veterinary medicine. My background allows me to confidently care for senior pets, puppies and kittens, administer medications, recognize changes in a pet's health or behavior, and provide compassionate, low-stress care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and intentionally make time for in my daily routine. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide pets with the attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship they deserve. I do work 10 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Whether it's sticking to their normal routine, giving medications, or simply spending quality time with them, I'm committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I'm trained to recognize changes in a pet's health or behavior and will keep you updated if I have any concerns. I treat every home with respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it, while making sure your pets receive the same love and attention I would give my own.
About: I live with an active Siberian Husky, so I’m very familiar with dogs who need more than a short loop around the block. I’m comfortable with strong walkers, high-energy dogs, and dogs who benefit from structure and consistency. I also grew up with a Cocker Spaniel and Springer Spaniel so my experience truly spans the gamut. I build my days around dogs and walking. I’m out with my own dog every day and keep a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of room for weekday walks. I intentionally keep my service area close to home so I can be dependable, unhurried, and consistent with the dogs I care for. Recurring weekday walks are especially welcome. I treat every dog and home with the same care I’d want for my own. I follow your routines closely, double-check doors, gates, leashes and harnesses before heading out, and never leave a dog unattended outside. I take time to learn each dog’s temperament, triggers and walking habits, and I’m thoughtful about interactions with other dogs and people. In your home, I respect your space, follow your instructions carefully, and keep communication clear, including photos and an update after every walk.
“Malcom is a fantastic dog and house sitter. We hired him to stay in our home with our two year old dachshund for six days. He was very responsive and friendly. He kept in touch with us and we never worried about our pup. I was glad he took her out with him so she got to go places- she likes that. Malcom said our house would be like he was never there- and it was. In fact Malcom went beyond our requests and vacuumed and washed his bedding. We definitely will book Malcolm again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Seng is amazing. Ruby took to her immediately. Seng took great care of her, took her on long walks by the ocean, and gave us plenty of great photos. Honestly, I think Ruby will now be looking forward to when we go on vacation. Highly recommended.”

“Erica has been a kind and attentive sitter for our cat, Cheetah. They immediately connected, and it was clear from the start that Cheetah felt comfortable and happy in her care!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog parent who would love to care for your pup! 🐾 🐶 Experienced dog parent: I raised my own dog from 8 weeks old, and he’s now my happy and healthy 8-year-old bestie. I’ve been there through every stage of his life and understand the patience, attention, and care dogs need at different ages. ❤️ Years of hands-on experience: I also helped raise my family dog, who sadly passed away at age 10, and I regularly care for dogs belonging to friends and family when they travel—including stays lasting several weeks. 🐾 Comfortable with all kinds of dogs: I’ve cared for dogs ranging from 10-lb pups to 80-lb dogs and am happy to adapt to different breeds, personalities, energy levels, and routines. 🍼 Puppy experience: Comfortable with puppies who need frequent potty breaks, playtime, supervision, patience, and lots of attention. 🐕 Senior dog experience: I’m also comfortable caring for older dogs who may need shorter walks, more frequent bathroom breaks, a slower pace, or simply some extra love and companionship. 🏡 Flexible schedule: I have a very flexible schedule and can provide plenty of walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. I’m able to spend quality time with your pup. 💕 I genuinely love dogs! I want your pup to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and cared for. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, a drop-in visit, some company while you’re away, or care in the comfort of their own home, I’d be happy to help! 🐾 I have a flexible schedule and can give your pup plenty of attention throughout the day! I’m able to accommodate regular walks, drop-in visits, and multiple potty breaks depending on your dog’s needs and routine. My goal is to make their day feel as comfortable and consistent as possible while you’re away. For drop-in visits, I’m happy to provide potty breaks, meals, fresh water, playtime, walks, and plenty of attention and affection. I can also follow any specific instructions you have for your dog’s routine. For dog walks, I’ll make sure your pup gets the exercise and enrichment that’s right for them. Whether they prefer a relaxed neighborhood stroll or a more active walk with a trip to the park, I’ll adjust the pace and length based on their age, energy level, and comfort.
“Simonee did so great with my two dogs and caring for my house. She walked them multiple times per day and cuddled with them and hung out with them at home. They loved their time with her. Will definitely hire Simonee again!”

“Jessica was super respectful of our home, took wonderful care of our high energy dog and checked in regularly, asking great questions that showed she really cared about our dog and home. Definitely the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had!”

“Shai is the BEST!! Truly the best Rover we have ever had. My dog takes awhile to warm up to people generally but loved her the moment he saw her and CRIES when she leaves the house (which he doesn’t even do for us!!). We are so grateful we found her!”

“Silvia just watched my pup Hulu for an extended period of time and I was so happy she did! Such a great experience with her. As always, she kept me informed daily and was so kind and caring to my pup☺️”

About: I have helped raised 5 dogs in the span of twenty five years. I’ve taken care of dogs ranging from age six months upwards to twelve. My current job has a sporadic schedule which affords me a lot of free time. I will only schedule boarding on days I know I will be free. I have a big, fenced yard with plenty of running space. I also have a room in the house if a private room is more to your pet’s liking.

“Antonio was awesome! An excellent communicator, quick to respond, provided daily updates and pictures and asked questions if needed. He left our house immaculate and our pets relaxed, clean and happy. Highly recommended for pet sitting or dog walking!”

Liang is one of the best cat sitters I have ever had! She took really good care of both of my cats, followed all of their feeding and litter box instructions perfectly, and gave them plenty of love and cuddles. My cats absolutely loved her! She also kept the house extremely clean. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible, and genuinely caring cat sitter!

Susanne was fantastic watching our dog while we were on vacation. She was great at communicating both before and during pet sitting. The home was in perfect shape and our dog was comfortable and happy when we came home. Already have a couple future bookings coming up with her and so glad to have a sitter we feel comfortable leaving our senior dog with so we can relax while away.

Malcom was great--timely, communicative and most importantly, our dog loved him. He stayed for a weekend in our home with Leo and sent us photos and took good care of our house. We will definitely ask Malcom to stay with Leo in the future. We are lucky to have found Malcom!

Seng was great! She kept me constantly updated with Lychee and sent me many pictures that made me feel at ease. She was very considerate of my home during her house sitting and would notify if she was going to step out for a decent amount of time. I appreciate her full transparency and communication! Definitely will be booking again!

Melody was great! Immediately focused all her attention to loving our 2 pups. They both have their individual needs and she saw to them both equally! She was attentive to our systems at home, kept our space neat and orderly after she was done, and ultimately created a great space for our 2 dogs and cat! Very grateful

Katrina did an amazing job with our pets!!! She took care of them like they were her own and provided plenty of information/pictures. She went above and beyond to help us out and make sure we came home to a clean home after a quick trip. Will definitely book again!!!

Kimberly helped us out with our puppy for two days, and we had such a great experience with her. Our dog, Juno, is 17 weeks old and still waiting on her final round of vaccines, so we needed someone we could trust to care for her at home during the workday. Juno tends to be a little shy and nervous around new people, but she warmed up to Kimberly right away, which was wonderful to see. Kimberly was incredibly patient with her and spent time working on socialization, training, and practice walks, while most importantly making sure our pup was happy and well cared for throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and patient to care for their pup—especially if you have a puppy who needs a little extra time and understanding to feel comfortable.

Ajani has been our go-to dog walker for a while, and he recently house sat our dog for us while we were on vacation. As expected, he was fantastic! Great communication, respectful of our home, and our dog absolutely loves him. Couldn't ask for better peace of mind while away. Highly recommend!"

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Broadmoor walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Broadmoor maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Broadmoor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
