This upcoming semester, Fall 2026, I currently have two openings for a weekly walker or drop-in visit routine, I'm available Monday-Wednesday 9:30am-11am, and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 4:00pm-6:00pm. I will also be available for drop-in visits or as needed walks, so please feel free to reach out. I work from home in the Mission/Excelsior region, and go to school at CCSF, so I have a fairly flexible weekday schedule outside of Wednesdays and can often accommodate short-notice bookings. However, since I rely on public transit, I’m currently limiting services to locations within about a 30-minute bus ride from Balboa Park.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it my priority to respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. I aim to create a calm, comforting environment that helps your pet feel safe and cared for while you're away. I always follow the care instructions you provide closely, whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, or playtime routines. Above all, I treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

I know that not all animals are ready for new people, if your pet has any triggers, separation anxiety, medications or specific schedules, I am more than happy to maintain the consistency your pet is used to. If you're working on training any specific behaviors, I'll be sure to reinforce those with positive feedback and love, too. If you're looking for specific care due to anxiety, nervousness, reactive behaviors, PTSD, skittishness, anything like that, I'd like to discuss those details specifically to make sure that I know exactly what types of things you've been doing to help, and what experiences they may have had in the past to cause the behaviors now. I might ask a lot of questions, but I promise it's not to pry, it's just genuinely to make sure that I understand and to avoid any possible scenarios that could upset them. You never know how something even as seemingly small as a yellow T-Shirt can remind someone of a bad day.
A typical day
What I will do will entirely depend on who I'm hanging out with, and what their individual needs are. I tend to focus on more anxious, stubborn, fearful, or reserved animals. This is intentional because I know that I am patient and gentle and willing to spend the time required to get them to feel comfortable with me. As a result, with a shorter 30 minute visit, we may not always have a lot of time remaining to do all the extra stuff that a more immediately accepting animal might get. Additionally, often times the animals that are a little bit more skittish, tend to want more cuddles and less playtime once they do open up. So I might spend 10 minutes getting the leash on, 15 minutes walking, and then instead of the last 5 minutes playing, we actually are just sitting by the door with their head on my lap while I tell them about when you are going to get home, and that I can't wait until the next time I get to see them. I guess my ultimate point is that I will always follow what your pet wants and needs. I will do my job, and make sure we go on our walk, and I'll try my best to get the cutest pictures you've ever seen, but beyond that, it's up to making sure they are happy and feel safe and loved.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a rescue pit bull and three rescue cats, which taught me early on how to provide gentle and compassionate care. In addition to that I've been doing professional animal visits for the last 4 years across multiple platforms, and have been loving the opportunity to meet all of these wonderful animals and families. I personally do very well with anxious or reactive animals, which need a more gentle presence around them. If your pet has any special needs, medications, or health concerns, I’m more than happy to discuss them with you. I’ll always take the time to learn what needs to be done and follow your preferred approach to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety. I am committed to providing a loving home and continuing any training or scheduling already established. My goal is to make you and your pets experience as seamless as possible!
