About: Hi there! I’m Stephanie, a San Francisco native with a big heart for both furry and not-so-furry companions. I’d be thrilled to lend a helping hand and share some love with your pet! Animals have had a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember—no matter the species. From dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles, I’ve been lucky to share my life with all kinds of animals, and I believe each one deserves to be treated with the same love and care we give family. I'm a patient, compassionate person who finds real joy in helping animals feel safe, happy, and understood. Have a high-energy dog who loves to run? Perfect! I’m currently training for a marathon and would love a running companion. Just let me know! I’m typically available any time on weekends! On weekdays, I am available before 8am or after 4pm. My daily schedule has a bit of flexibility though, so please feel free to let me know if you need a specific time and I can try my best to accommodate! During drop-in visits, I focus on making your pet feel safe, seen, and cared for in the comfort of their own home. I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding, giving medications, cleaning litter boxes, or just spending quality time together. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and needs, so I always take the time to learn what makes them feel most at ease—whether that’s playtime, gentle companionship, or simply respecting their space. I also make sure to give updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority.
About: I've been around animals my entire life and have always been comfortable caring for them. I grew up with cats and have experience feeding, playing with, and caring for them throughout my life. I've also helped neighbors by checking in on their pets while they were away. Although I don't have professional pet care experience yet, I'm responsible, patient, and committed to following each pet owner's instructions to make sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I'm excited to provide loving care for both cats and dogs. I am currently a university student and have a very flexible schedule, especially during the summer months when I am not taking classes. This allows me plenty of availability throughout the week for pet care services. I can plan my day around visits, walks, check-ins, and can accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening care depending on the client's needs. Although I don't have formal professional experience in pet care, I've cared for cats my whole life and understand their behavior, needs, and comfort. I also helped a neighbor by checking in on her cat whenever she was away. I'm responsible, attentive, and genuinely love being around animals
“Again, Perry did an amazing job walking my 2.5 year old American Eskimo. Ocean has a handful of special monitoring needs due to a chronic GI condition and his playful interest in exploring, if not trying to consume, anything. Perry is extremely conscienscious and is very alert to Ocean's behaviors. Perry is also wonderful at making sure my dog is properly back in his kennel area when he drops off and leaves. Ocean is also over the top happy and excited the moment he realizes Perry is coming to walk and play with him. Its been really wonderful and a relief to know I have Perry onboard to walk and care for my boy.”

About: I love any kind of pets, they are like the best thing in the world. I have them a lot of patience and I’ll follow any instructions that you give me. I have some regular pets booking already, I’m at home most of the time but like to fix my day to do multiple walks in the day. I like to follow instructions and be as respectful as I can, I have fenced yard and I can give them two walks a day.
“Nikka was a pleasure to work with! She is very flexible and super accommodating. We appreciated the photos she sent us while we were away. We look forward to working with you again in the future!”

“K Zin is simply amazing! She was communicative, attentive, on time and she genuinely cared about our cat. We looked forward to reading the Rover cards and looking at the pictures she took every day. Will definitely book again!”

About: I've been pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10 years old and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My background allows me to confidently care for senior pets, puppies and kittens, administer medications, recognize changes in a pet's health or behavior, and provide compassionate, low-stress care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and intentionally make time for in my daily routine. Whether it's sticking to their normal routine, giving medications, or simply spending quality time with them, I'm committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I'm trained to recognize changes in a pet's health or behavior and will keep you updated if I have any concerns. I treat every home with respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it, while making sure your pets receive the same love and attention I would give my own.
About: Growing up my neighborhood was a zoo with cats, dogs, chinchillas, birds, bunnies, chickens, and ducks! My childhood became blind and deaf so I have experience caring for senior dogs with complex conditions. I love all animals at all stages of their lives and it is very rewarding for me. I'm a recent college grad and starting my master's program online! I am also working part-time. I will generally be available on Thursdays and Fridays depending! I have a kitten who is very mellow but I will not be providing any in-home services. I love to approach any kind of sitting job with a holistic and very pet-led approach!
About: I am an owner of 5 pets. Two large breed dogs and three cats, all ranging between the ages of 1year-10 years old! Grew up surrounded by animals and love making sure they are taken care of. I currently work full time but build my own schedule. I am able to adjust times and flex to what’s needed. I also care for five animals at home so my life revolves around animal care. I have multiple animals at home with fenced in yard. I am comfortable feeding, walking and cleaning up after animals. I am not able to care for your animals at my home.

“An excellent, trustworthy and go the extra mile pet sitter. Made sure my cats were happy, had some play time and most importantly, fed and litter kept clean. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Rene did a fantastic job taking care of our cat! Based on the pictures, our cat really adored him. He was also easy to communicate with and very thoughtful, going above and beyond to see after some small thing in our home while we were gone. Highly recommend!”

About: I've spent my life around animals, caring for them and integrating them as loved members of my family. When I finally became an adult, I decided to work at a shelter so that I could gain more experience with dogs at every age and stage with all kinds of abilities. I didn't last very long before I took home a rambunctious Pitbull puppy. It took a lot of consistent love, patience and care to train him, but he was the greatest experience from puppy to senior. He passed away recently and I've been craving the dog energy but am not ready to get another one at this time. I look forward to caring for your pup and treating them like family. I'm currently working at an internship for 3 days a week, on Tuesdays through Thursdays. So, those days I have limited availability. The best days for me are Friday through Monday as I am home for the majority of the day. If you wish to board your animal at my, I have an enclosed back patio for them to relax as well as a fenced in yard. If boarding is done at either your house or my house, I trust that you will communicate instructions in regards to a feeding/medication schedule, as well as any other care instructions that may pertain. For dogs, please communicate what kind of activity level is expected, and how often they need to go out for a potty break.
“Simonee did 3 drop in visits for our dogs and did an awesome job. My dog even had an accident in his crate and she cleaned it all up without complaining! Super awesome at communicating and great with our pups! Will definitely use her again!”

“Leanne is absolutely amazing! She’s not only great with my cat. And went extra foxing my broken auto little box despite that I’ve given up and said I’m coming home the next day anyway so no worries. But she did some research and fixed the damn litter box! Saved the day!”

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life and my family has always made sure I understood the full responsibility of raising a pet and make sure they are happy and healthy. I was an animal science major when I was in college and have worked with a variety of animals so I have a strong understanding of reading a various of behaviors so I am able to quickly adapt to your pets personality. I just moved back to the San Fransisco from Boston and I am currently applying for graduate school so my schedule is flexible to play with the fur babies! I will make sure I ask the client what are the boundaries of where I can be when I am their home, never going any further than I need to make sure their pets are taken care of and is happy. If at any point I need to expand that space I plan to reach out to the client to confirm before I step anywhere else.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Broadmoor
Beiqi took great care of Gouda and Cheshire while we were away. It was clear they were well looked after, and we really appreciated the regular photo updates—they gave us real peace of mind. We’d be happy to have Beiqi look after them again and would definitely recommend them to others.

So appreciated Simonee’s professionalism and warmth toward our elderly cat. Simonee was so communicative, like when our automatic feeder wasn’t working, and also helpful with rolling our trash bins out on garbage day. We really trust her and would highly recommend her.

Vlada was pleasant and easy to work with! She responded promptly and was up for the challenge of taking care of our senior gentleman feline who requires medication and supplements with his feeding. She was happy to connect on a video chat prior to the sitting. We recommend her and would book with her again!

We engaged Chenyang for several drop-in visits to take care of our cats. She is very responsible, communicative, and punctual. She’s detail-oriented and took photos of her work to assure us that everything was in order. She’s very kind and gentle to pets and our cats warmed up to her very quickly. We would definitely work with her next time!

I recently just moved to the Bay Area and I had to take a trip shortly after, so I got in contact with Shailyng. One of my cats has had health issues in the past related to moving, so I was worried that this would be an issue again. Having Shailyng come over daily and give me an update on their health and wellbeing was a huge reassurance and relief during my trip. Even though they were hiding during their visits she would keep me updated very closely and even worked with my landlord to make sure they were okay.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
