“Vicky did an amazing job with my cat Juno. She walked, fed, and played with her. I was impressed with how quickly she responded to messages and how reliable she was. The daily pictures made me feel confident that my cat was in good hands. I will be booking Vicky in the future!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and Cheryl made the experience amazing! I hadn’t been away from my little cat for any extended period of time since I’d adopted her over a year ago. I was hesitant to have someone come to my home to take care of my baby girl while I’d be away, but Cheryl was amazing with her! She started with a meet and greet, and gave me some tips on how others have utilized her services in the past. She followed all the instructions I left perfectly, and she was so patient with my shy girl 🥹 She sent lots of photos of my cat’s food intake and pictures of her warming up to Cheryl over time! It put me at ease to see my shy girl start to trust and seek out affection from Cheryl. I will certainly request her services again in the future!”

“Maya was absolutely awesome with our cat Max. Extremely diligent and detail oriented for all the care he needed while we were away. Please don’t hesitate to connect with her if the arrangement works out!”

“My cat usually hates everyone except me and my husband but she appeared for Stephanie! Stephanie did a great job following the instructions we left and was able to take us on at the last minute when our usual sitter fell through. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Nikka was absolutely great at looking after my dog! I had her check in on my dog while I was away for about a week and my dog loved how much she cared for him. I have a pretty shy and anxious dog, but it wasn’t long before he started wanting to be friends with Nikka. I’m highly satisfied with the care and help that she has provided!”

“If I could give Erica and Stephen 10 stars I would!! I knew that they were going to be good from the first time we met. My cat Casper went right up to Erica and let her pet him and Casper NEVER does that. My other pets also went right up to her too. I knew then that they were kind to animals because animals can sense that. They went far and beyond for their services!! They kept me up to date and sent me fotos of my babies and made my vacation much more enjoyable knowing that I picked excellent pet sitters!! They left my house spotless when I got home and thought that I would have to clean up a big mess when I got home. They truly took care of my pets, 4 dogs and 1 cat, and also took care of my home!!! I will definately call them again next time I need pet sitting services!! Thank you so much Erica and Stephen!!!!!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life ranging from a 105 pound Lab to a 9 pound Chihuahua. Family friends and acquaintances have relied on me time and time again to house sit and watch their dogs/cats. As a college student, I like to keep a structured schedule, making it easy to incorporate your pet's care into my daily routine. I have set blocks of time in the mornings, between classes, and in the evenings that I dedicate to feeding, walks, and check-ins. On weekends and lighter class days, I’m able to spend extra time on longer walks, playtime, or sitting stays. I stay organized and plan ahead, so pets always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it keeps them comfortable, relaxed, and in a familiar routine. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—feeding according to their schedule, refreshing water, providing potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special care they need.
About: I love animals, despite growing up with only small pets (a hamster, fish, and guinea pig). I have walked dogs before, and I have the energy to keep up with a very playful pet! Although I am new to caring for pets, I am willing to get to know them and learn how best to care for them! I currently have a lot of free time outside of my part-time job, so I have a very flexible schedule, and I am willing to accommodate your and your pet's schedule! I am willing to do basic caretaking tasks like walks, playing, feeding, etc. Since I am new to taking care of pets, I am open to any instructions/tips you have on how to best care for your pet.
“Alyssa did a fantastic job checking in on my dogs while I was away. She was very thorough and took the time for a meet and greet before the check in. Clearly cared about making sure everything was just right. My dogs were happy and well taken care of, and I really appreciated the peace of mind. Highly recommend! Thanks Alyssa!”

About: I’m patient, reliable, and really pay attention to what each pet needs. I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs, and plenty of cats, and I can give basic medications when needed. I focus on keeping every pet safe, comfortable, and happy, and I always send updates so you know exactly how your furry friend is doing Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I’m available for visits and drop-ins most days, and I build my schedule around giving each pet the time and attention they need. I’m not available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays because I work at UCSF, but the rest of the week I’m flexible and happy to help. I’m a graduated LVN preparing for my NCLEX, so pet care is a meaningful and fun way for me to earn extra money while doing something I love. I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine so I can keep things consistent and comfortable for them. In your home, I follow your feeding, play, and care instructions exactly, keep things clean, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and company. I’m respectful of your space and always prioritize safety. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for the entire visit.
“Lehna has been a great resource for the care of my two staffies. I have booked her several times already for walks and drop ins. She responds very quickly to requests, has strong communication skills and she updates me with details about how my dogs behaved with her. She has been professional and responsible and I can easily recommend her.”

About: I have had dogs and cats under my care my whole life. One cat had ceribal hypoplasia and required assistance with all aspects of life bathroom, walking, getting into bed for naps and eating. My 2 cats that I have now are mine and each others emotional support. They are both harness and leash trained and stroller trained. I am a rare Male Cat Lady :) I am attending college after a 17 year hiatus and most of my classes are on-line. I have my own small business in computer repair and IT. I make my own schedule and can fit pet care into that purrr-fectly I would care for your pets as if they were my own. Following your instructions to the letter and showering them in love or giving space as needed to each individual personality.
About: With an early start into the industry, I have specialized experience in training, diet, and grooming cats & dogs! I also have in depth, hands on experience with medication administration of pills, capsules, liquids and shots. Building trust is another skill I pride myself on-- I am patient and make steps based on your pets comfortability. I have a deep love and respect for all different kinds of animals and would love to spend more time with them. I am home a lot, but specifically, I'm most available on weekends and evenings! I wake up early for the first walk of the day followed by breakfast. I get home on weekdays around 1. My schedule will alter in January. Here, I have no carpet & a fenced side-yard! I have plenty of toys of all sizes and durability for cats & dogs, a filtered running water fountain, and a 6 foot tall, multilevel cat tree. I prioritize your pets comfort and establish a trusting relationship between them, myself, and the cats in my home. I love taking photos, and I also have a Furbo in the home, which I can send fun clips from your pet's stay!
“I cannot say enough good things about Crystal! She took care of my cats for two days and followed instructions to the tee. She also took the time to get to know/befriend my very shy asocial cats. Would definitely reach out again!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. My two recents are Cow and Calf. Cow is a Saint Bernard/german shepherd mix and Calf her son we bred with a Mastiff. I have them trained and capable for any situation. I spent arduous hours training them to be farm hands and hunters. We have a loving home and now reside in Pacifica, CA. I have careers that allow me to be present at home with them and I want to extend that loving, caring and supportive home environment to your dog(s). They won’t have a single day without fun or socialization if they’re with this pack. I am currently working from home and have a flexible schedule. I walk my two dogs about 2-4 hours every day hiking through the Pacifica hills near Mori Point or taking the dogs to the beach. My dogs and I are best friends. We are almost always together and when I’m out handling client calls they are with me. I give them hours of play outside at the beach and mountains daily. These spoiled pups eat an organic whole food diet and have a vast collection of toys they are very happy to share with a play mate. Dogs are welcome in our home and I would gladly take heed of any and all requests from a client in my home or theirs! We would treat a client’s home like our friend and Family’s to ensure it’s as good or better than when I arrived.
Linda Mar cat parents share their Rover experiences
Stephanie was amazing. This was my first time using Rover and she made me feel very at ease with everything. She came over for a meet and greet to see the cats and to see our place to show her where everything was and she made that very easy to schedule too. She left great notes and pictures! I highly recommend. I will be using her services again!

Stephen and Erica watched our cat during the Christmas holidays (and agreed to do so on relatively short notice!) and we came home to a happy cat who had received some new toys for Christmas. It was great getting to see pictures of her while we were away and know that there was someone around to make sure that she was eating and getting some attention. Would definitely boom with Stephen and Erica again!

Victor was absolutely amazing! He did a 3x visit a day for my dogs and cat while I was out of town for a few day. Victor went above and beyond to make sure the pets were well supervised loved, taken care of and also made sure I got adorable videos. Thank you Victor for taking such great care of the house and the fur babies :) we absolutely appreciate your attention to detail and care for animals!
