Our second cat, Max, has always been a shy one. Bennett did see him a number of times, but was unable to interact with them. Bennett was definitely organized and timely! About: I've had dogs my whole life ranging from a 105 pound Lab to a 9 pound Chihuahua. Family friends and acquaintances have relied on me time and time again to house sit and watch their dogs/cats. About: We are an animal-loving household! When I am with your pup, they have my full attention and we spend our time playing and going for walks. If your dog is up for it, I love taking them on longer walks on paved trails or hikes. However, I do not visit dog parks unless you specifically request it. I pride myself on building a strong bond with every dog so that I can quickly notice any signs of illness or discomfort. To ensure your pup receives total attention and love, I only host one dog at a time. Pet sitting is not a business for us; my husband and I are retired empty-nesters who simply miss the companionship of a pet. Because we love to travel, we choose not to own a dog of our own right now. On a typical day, I take your pup out 3 to 4 times: 20-30 minutes in the morning, 1–2 hours in the afternoon (depending on their energy level), and another 20-30 minutes before bedtime. If your dog prefers shorter strolls, we will take multiple brief walks instead. For playtime, we love playing tug-of-war on the deck or keep-away in our safely fenced backyard. My husband and I are active, retired empty nesters who love the companionship of pets. We walk frequently and enjoy having a fur baby join us on our adventures. When your pet stays with us, they become part of the family—we take them everywhere and never leave them home alone. If you have a preferred pet sling or carrier, please bring it along. If not, we can use ours, which is cleaned after each use. We have a large, fully fenced backyard with a clean deck and patio where I can play with your pup. The yard consists of concrete and decking, alongside dedicated areas for plants and flowers—completely weed-free! Your pet is also welcome to roam freely around our house and relax on the furniture.

She even offered a meet-and-greet video call beforehand, which really put my mind at ease since it was our second time using Rover for dog sitting. 🙏 Throughout our communications, Winnie was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Howard and their dog Truman met us for the meet and greet before the scheduled stay, and the dogs got along, as Truman is very easy going. My dog is not friendly with large dogs and requires a special diet, as well as, a regular feeding and walking schedule. Howard accommodated all of my dog’s needs during his stays. About: I am a physically active recent retiree and capable dog lover who recently lost my beloved Wheaten Terrier after 11 great years with him, so I'm well able to care for your very active or senior dog that might have special dietary or physical needs. I'm recently retired and home every day, so I have lots of time to care for your pet. Drop-off and pick-up very flexible every day and evening. Although we have a securely fenced and paved back yard, it contains a swimming pool, so we kept our own pet indoors or on our fenced in, covered deck/patio which is also secure. We have a large dog crate which our dog slept in every night, but this is flexible depending on your own dog's sleeping preferences. I do not let pets sleep on my bed. We live on a very quiet street with no 'through' traffic, so it's easy to walk your dog regularly without risking encounters with other pets. Our own dog was not comfortable around other dogs and this was easy for us to manage.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. My two recents are Cow and Calf. Cow is a Saint Bernard/german shepherd mix and Calf her son we bred with a Mastiff. I have them trained and capable for any situation. I spent arduous hours training them to be farm hands and hunters. We have a loving home and now reside in Pacifica, CA. I have careers that allow me to be present at home with them and I want to extend that loving, caring and supportive home environment to your dog(s). I walk my two dogs about 2-4 hours every day hiking through the Pacifica hills near Mori Point or taking the dogs to the beach. My dogs and I are best friends. We are almost always together and when I’m out handling client calls they are with me. I give them hours of play outside at the beach and mountains daily. These spoiled pups eat an organic whole food diet and have a vast collection of toys they are very happy to share with a play mate. Dogs are welcome in our home and I would gladly take heed of any and all requests from a client in my home or theirs! We would treat a client’s home like our friend and Family’s to ensure it’s as good or better than when I arrived.

About: I have been an avid animal lover since I was a child. I would collect frogs, salamanders, and snakes then bring them home to show [scare] my family then safely return them to their homes. Beginning from the age of 6 or 7 I began riding horses. I was devoted to horseback riding for years which taught me a number of valuable skills on how to care for animals. In addition, to having multiple family pets including a rat and dogs', I had my own dog [Nala]. About: I have a deep care and understanding for dogs. I have taken care of young puppies as well as dogs as old as 16. I truly enjoy spending time with them and just making sure they are happiest they can be I am available for pet care on all days of the week and can work around my schedule for what best fits.
