About: I've loved dogs even before my family got our first dog. Taking on extra responsibilities for our first dog was so exciting, and now it's all I want to do. Knowing how much I love dogs, all sorts of friends and family members have come to me for help. I just graduated from college and have moved back home to San Francisco. I am very excited to be back and get to know some dogs in the area! I would care for your dogs by paying attention to whatever needs they may have. I'd walk them, feed them, and take them outside, and I would be able to crate them if needed.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 with my first dog that I mainly take care of. Also being trusted with family friends pets. I’m currently just putting my focus in taking care of your pups or dogs. So I have more than enough time to give love and care to your babies at home. Personally for my dogs we have a backyard and it’s completely fenced. When they were little we had them crate trained so I can easily help put back dog back into their crates if needed.
“Michelle went way beyond the call of duty. She was wonderful with my dog and cat. I have used Michelle before when I was out of town, and I will certainly use her again. I highly recommend her. Thank you, Michelle!”

About: My name is Megan and I currently live in San Francisco, CA. I would love to provide care for your dog. I am an experienced previous dog owner and experienced pet sitter. I am able to board, feed, walk, and any other necessary care. I am also open to taking care of any other pets you have (cats, fish, rabbits and bearded dragons are some of the pets that I have experience with caring for). Please feel free to contact me here or at the phone number provided if you are interested. Thank you! I teach at a school that is three blocks from my house from 9am-4:30pm, so I can come home for lunch break walks if needed. I can walk dogs before and after school and let the dog into my backyard garden at any time. On the weekends, I can take dogs to the beach or on other fun outdoor adventures! I have taken care of people’s’ pets in a number of ways. I have stopped by people’s’ houses for care, boarded pets, and stayed overnight in pets’ homes.
“Quick & easy communication, smooth key exchange, and she did so well with a (in my eyes) difficult cat. The drop-in descriptions and photos were so detailed! Gemma and I are both very thankful for Natalie.”

About: I truly care for every dog like they’re my own. I have several hands-on experiences walking dogs for friends and neighbors, and I’ve loved every moment of it. I’m attentive to each pup’s needs—whether it’s making sure they get the right amount of exercise, giving them extra cuddles, or being patient with shy or energetic personalities. I’m also comfortable with both young, playful pups and gentle senior dogs, always making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I'm currently a college student right now, i will have some time to play with your pups! I'm available for walking your dog everyday in summer. I ensure that your pet is always safe by using secure leashes and harnesses during walks, avoiding hazardous areas, and keeping a close eye on their behavior and surroundings.
“The best Rover experience we’ve had! Fast responses, thorough communication, and an overall excellent experience with Laxmi. We are so lucky to have found her to take care of our cat on such short notice!”

“Dena took such great care of our 9 year old cat who rarely comes out of hiding for new people. By the end, our cat was hanging out with Dena and totally comfortable. Punctuality, communication, all was great. Will definitely book with her again ☺️ thank you!”

“Carmen took excellent care of our cat and communicated clearly with us, sharing pictures every day. Our cat is very social and often gets anxious when she is forced to spend time alone, but she was relaxed and happy when we returned from our trip thanks to Carmen.”

About: I've grown up with dogs of all sizes and have hands-on experience training and caring for a wide range of breeds and temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own, a 14 year old Pekingese and a 8 year old Husky, which has given me daily experience managing both small and large dogs with very different needs and personalities. Whether your dog is energetic and active or prefers a slower pace, I'm comfortable providing safe, attentive care, exercise, and companionship. My background with dogs big and small allows me to adapt to each pet's unique routine and help them feel comfortable and well cared! My flexible schedule allows me to give your pets lots of attention, love, playtime, and exercise. I'm committed to making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way! My number one priority is making sure your pets feel comfortable and secure in their own home. I understand that every pet adjusts at their own pace, so I give them the time and space they need to build trust and feel at ease. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or quiet companionship. My goal is to provide attentive, loving care while helping them feel safe, relaxed, and happy in their familiar environment.
About: I am a very active person. I take my own German Shepherd and Labrador out for long adventure walks and finding new hiking places around the city. I live in an apartment with no yard so I have to make sure my pups have enough play time and mental stimulation. I am willing to run with dogs, play with them, take them to the park as well as just having quiet relaxing walks. I am good with any breed of dog and any size and am also good with cats, too. I own two cats myself and she is very playful. I am capable of continuing your pets education by enforcing the basic commands such as sit, down, off and come. I can also use commands and train pets by the owner’s preferences. I currently work at Sunset Veterinary Hospital part time so I am available most days or even on my lunch while in the area to watch and walk your pups and kitties! I am not able to do any boarding because of my buildings regulations but I can spend time with your pets in your own home for most of the day. I will do any pet chores necessary and can make sure the pets eat and play. I can accommodate for any requests. I want to make sure the pets are happy and healthy throughout the entire day with me. If there are any pet chores needed like leaving food and water and I can follow any feeding instructions. I love to train dogs and give them the required amount of mental stimulation as well as playtime. I don’t mind playing any games with your pups with or without toys. I can take the pups to different parks and fields as well as beaches.
About: I have worked in dog hotels as an overnight caretaker (no humans, just dogs), I have been a dog walker and a dog owner for nearly my whole life. I trained our family service dog (recently passed) on my own and got her professionally certified. I am home everyday as a homeschooling mom. Your pet is a part of the family while they are here. My kids and I are a chill group, Dogs are a natural fit. I have a small deck in the back, my kids and I go on walks constantly, the dogs are welcome on the beds and on the couches. My home is their home.
About: Hi! I’m Sully, a Mission local and your pet’s new Cool Auntie. I’ll be the one to makes sure your fur baby feels safe, loved, and a little spoiled. 😌🐾 I’m not a pop in and leave sitter. I’m going to be the auntie who learns your pet’s vibe and make each visit feel more familiar and comforting. I’m also a proud cat mom to three big personalities (bratty tortie, black cat chaos, and a bipolar Siamese rescue), so I’m patient, confident, and pretty good at winning over even the toughest little divas. I’ve been pet sitting since my early 20s, starting with my family’s pets and friends’ pets (their friends as well), and over the years I’ve built real relationships with so many of them. I’m now the go-to sitter they call when they travel, which means I regularly get to see my extended fur nieces and nephews 🥰 and keep their routines consistent while their parents are away. During drop-ins, I’ll follow your routine closely. Fresh food & water, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, and photo updates so you can actually relax. I’m looking for long-term fur friendships even if it’s just a regular monthly visit or being your go-to auntie sitter when travel pops up. I am a full-time case manager for a local nonprofit, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM. So I’m your go-to for evening and weekend care! I’m available for drop-ins: • Weeknights: 6:30 PM–11:00 PM • Weekends: 7:00 AM–11:00 PM As your pet’s “cool auntie,” I’ll always respect your home and your routine. I follow a shoes-off rule (like I do at home), keep things tidy, and I’ll stick to your instructions for food, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, and medications (limited). If you’re comfortable with it, I also love bringing a small “peace offering” for the first visit like a toy or an approved treat to help build trust and make our first meet feel positive. If your pet has allergies or a preferred snack, just let me know. My goal is for your pet to recognize my footsteps like, “oh! my auntie’s here.”
About: In addition to being a personal trainer, I’m a former dog owner who genuinely enjoys caring for animals. I currently offer dog boarding, dog walking, and cat sitting in the Glen Park, Diamond Heights and Bernal Heights areas. I have space available for boarding on weekends or for longer stays—up to 2 weeks. All of my references are reliable and available upon request. Feel free to reach out with any questions! Most of my workday is spent in the Glen Park area, so I’m usually either at home, in the park, or at the studio. Depending on your dog’s temperament, they’ll either be active with me throughout the day or relaxing comfortably at the studio while I train clients. Occasionally, Your dog will never be left alone for long. I follow whatever bedding or crate setup your dog is used to and stick to their regular feeding schedule. I’ll work closely with you to accommodate your dog’s specific needs and temperament, including any routines around exercise, socialization, cleaning, or administering medication. I live in a secure space with an enclosed patio, directly across the street from Glen Canyon Park—an ideal spot for an active, dog-friendly lifestyle. Your dog will be a welcome part of that rhythm while staying with me. When house-sitting, I’m vigilant about home security. Whether it’s bringing in the mail, leaving lights on, or making sure packages aren’t left out—I’m happy to follow your preferences to keep your home looking lived-in and cared for.
About: What sets me apart is the dependable, compassionate care I bring to every drop-in and house sitting visit. With over 5 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs—from growing up with pets to now having my own—I understand how important it is to find someone who treats your animals like family. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick walk and check-in or staying overnight to keep your pet company, I bring patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. I’m great at reading energy—whether your dog needs a play buddy, your cat needs a calm presence, or your senior pet just needs a little extra care. And yes, I come with treats (and plenty of belly rubs or head scratches, depending on who’s asking)! Caring for pets fits perfectly into my weekly routine, especially with my flexible part-time schedule. I make sure they’re fed on time, get daily walks or playtime for exercise, and take care of any medications they need. When I care for pets, whether at my place or a client’s, I make sure they’re in a safe and comfortable environment that suits their needs. At home, I set up cozy spots for them to rest and play and stick closely to their feeding and/or medication schedules. I also prioritize regular walks and playtime to keep them happy and active. In a client's home, I aim to replicate their usual routines as closely as possible. This includes following specific feeding instructions, maintaining their exercise regimen, and administering medications if required. Clear communication with pet owners is crucial to ensure I meet their expectations and keep them informed about their pet's well-being throughout my care. Ultimately, whether at home or with a client, my goal is to provide loving, attentive care that ensures the pets feel secure and happy in their environment.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Glenridge
We had a wonderful experience with Xinyuan! She took exceptional care of Nema while we were away, really taking the time to bond with her. We loved receiving the clear updates, photos, and videos she sent throughout the trip—it gave us total peace of mind. We will absolutely be using her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic pet sitter!

Cameron has done drop in visits for my 2 cats twice now and it’s been very good. My cats both like her which is not always the case for them. She gives updates and always accommodates any requests I have. She has also brought in packages for me and cleans around the litter box and food bowls which is nice. I’d definitely recommend Cameron and book again

Beiqi took great care of Gouda and Cheshire while we were away. It was clear they were well looked after, and we really appreciated the regular photo updates—they gave us real peace of mind. We’d be happy to have Beiqi look after them again and would definitely recommend them to others.

David has watched our cats couple of times now - most recently this past Friday, July 10th—and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He takes incredible care of our cats, ensuring they are happy, comfortable, and well-attended to every single visit. Beyond being a fantastic pet sitter, David is exceptionally observant and proactive with home care. During a previous visit, he noticed a few fruit flies starting to appear in the kitchen and, on his own initiative, set up an apple cider vinegar trap. Because of his quick thinking, the issue was caught early and completely managed by the time we got home. It is rare to find a sitter who is equally dedicated to the well-being of your pets and the maintenance of your home. We always return to very happy cats and a perfectly kept house. If you are looking for someone responsible, proactive, and genuinely caring, hire David!
Samantha was wonderful with my two cats while I was on vacation. She was reliable, caring, and attentive, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. She made sure they were fed, comfortable, and well looked after, and I came home to happy cats. I’d absolutely recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful cat sitter.

Nico did a great job taking care of my two cats at the tail end of a month-long trip, coming to the rescue after my previous sitter had a last minute conflict. Nico took time to sit with the cats and make sure they were at ease, in addition to of course feeding and cleaning litter boxes! Highly recommend Nico!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
