About: Growing up with pets has taught me a lot. Ive helped many friends with their pets for a long time and enjoy doing it! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs of my own that I care about and love deeply. I great at following instructions. Keeping up with routine, giving meds on time and I am good at communicating with families and reporting issues to pet owners and making sure they feel comfortable with leaving their pets in my care. I’m currently working part-time in the afternoon during the mornings I have free time to take care of your pets and take them on walks and do drop in visits. I will always follow a routine and if there’s a problem with the routine or with your pet I will communicate to you to make sure everything is fine and to find the solution to the problem I have no problem with updating and sending pictures as much as you’d like so you can know your pet is safe with me.
“Frank has been a fantastic dog walker! He’s always punctual, communicates clearly, and provides detailed updates after every walk. Most importantly, my dog absolutely loves him. Highly recommend!”

About: My name is Megan and I currently live in San Francisco, CA. I would love to provide care for your dog. I am an experienced previous dog owner and experienced pet sitter. I am able to board, feed, walk, and any other necessary care. I am also open to taking care of any other pets you have (cats, fish, rabbits and bearded dragons are some of the pets that I have experience with caring for). Please feel free to contact me here or at the phone number provided if you are interested. Thank you! I teach at a school that is three blocks from my house from 9am-4:30pm, so I can come home for lunch break walks if needed. I can walk dogs before and after school and let the dog into my backyard garden at any time. On the weekends, I can take dogs to the beach or on other fun outdoor adventures! I have taken care of people’s’ pets in a number of ways. I have stopped by people’s’ houses for care, boarded pets, and stayed overnight in pets’ homes.
“Michelle did drop in visits for my two cats. They enjoyed having her and she did a good job interacting with them when they wanted it and giving them space if they weren't up for it. She was communicative and capable. I'm planning to book her again for me next trip!”

“Natalie was an excellent new cat sitter for me and my kitty!!! she offered to come over a few days before for key pickup and to meet my cat. her report was thorough and included many photos. Natalie is super responsive and I will request her services again!”

“Laxmi is amazing! She’s super professional, communicative, and was a lifesaver in a stressful last minute situation. She did a great job checking in on my cat. Thanks Laxmi!”

About: I’ve cared for both dogs and cats for family and friends in the past. I enjoy taking the time to get to know each animal’s unique quirks and needs, and make sure that pets feel comfortable around me and trust me. I love to take walks around my neighborhood so you can rest assured that your dog will get the proper walks/exercises they need! I work full time in tech but work from home 2 days a week. I am looking to provide services mostly in the evening from (tues-thurs) but am more flexible on mon/fri and the weekends depending on the care your pet needs! My apartment does not allow pets so Rover is an awesome way for me to meet your amazing pets! When I care for pets during walks or drop in visits, my main goal is always to make them feel comfortable, happy, and safe. For walks, I will try my best to match your pet's energy level and routine (long or short walks, dog parks, etc) and maybe sneak in a treat or two if that's ok with you! During drop in visits, I will take the time to check if food and water need to be refilled, clean up as needed, and give your pet some quality play time. I will also keep you updated with photos and notes so you know exactly what your pet's are up to!
“Sahar helped coordinate a pick up from my friends place to day care when I was out of town. Feedback from my friend after the pick up “She was so nice. Star her for future needs. She said “let me know if you guys need anything else, happy to help” !! Will def use again! Thank you Sahar!”

“Dena took care of my dogs during our 5-hour vow renewal ceremony and photoshoot, which involved going to three different locations — and she was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly reliable and kept in great communication the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dogs loved her right away, and it was clear she genuinely cared about them. Dena even went above and beyond to help out throughout the day. I don’t trust my dogs with just anyone, but I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and professional dog sitter. She’s the best! 🐾”

“Carmen has visited my pet many times over the past few years. She is punctual, polite, sends day of updates, then sends a video photo compilation. I worry that my pet likes her more than he likes me!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, please do not hesitate to reach out to Carmen!”

About: I have worked in dog hotels as an overnight caretaker (no humans, just dogs), I have been a dog walker and a dog owner for nearly my whole life. I trained our family service dog (recently passed) on my own and got her professionally certified. I am home everyday as a homeschooling mom. Your pet is a part of the family while they are here. My kids and I are a chill group, Dogs are a natural fit. I have a small deck in the back, my kids and I go on walks constantly, the dogs are welcome on the beds and on the couches. My home is their home.
About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets from rats to cats to spiders and one rehabbed squirrel. I am a huge animal lover and I’m the top choice when my friends ever need a pet sitter because I’m so in love with their pets and love to go above and beyond when taking care of them. That means you absolutely don’t need to worry about them getting enough attention and love because they will get LOADS I hav experience taking care of senior pets and special needs pets and I do my best to really establish a trusting relationship so they know when I’m around everything is going to be ok. It would be my pleasure to meet more lovely pet parents and help them out whenever they need! I hav a very chill job as a personal assistant so I have lots of availability. And my hobby is reading and writing so you get a very very chill person in your space that you can count on to be respectful and drama free I can offer a variety of pet care, I can do overnights or several hours and I can also do just a quick drop in if that’s all you need. I don’t have a car so unfortunately unless a uber is covered I can’t take them to the vet or things like that but I’m happy to spend my day at a nearby park or just read a nice book with them in your lovely home. Whatever works for you and of course you can just let me know whatever it is you need, it would be my pleasure to accommodate 🥰
“Another fantastic/seamless experience with Kevin. So glad to have found him. My little old boy is very special and it’s really difficult to leave him alone. Kevin puts me at ease and allows me travel when I need to without worrying about my boy Sebastian. Thanks again, Kevin!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Glenridge
Miranda was great! My cat Simon just got out of the emergency vet before we had to leave for a trip. Miranda was great at accommodating my lack of service and making sure I knew exactly what was going on with Simon. Simon puked a lot and Miranda cleaned everything up so when I came home I could barely tell Simon got sick. I really appreciated her help!

After a few trial runs with a few various sitters, Helen has become my #1 go-to for watching my two boy cats. She’s quick to respond, so easy to work with and I feel completely at ease knowing that my cats are well cared for while I am away. Her reports are thorough and help me feel like I’m not missing a beat while away. Would absolutely recommend her!

We really appreciated the care and attention she gave our cats while we were away. She spent lots of time with them, including working from our downstairs office so they could have extra company and affection, which made us feel much better about leaving them. She was also wonderfully accommodating with our complicated feeding routine, supplements and liquid medication for one of our cats, who is unfortunately very good at hiding when she doesn’t want to cooperate! It was clear that she genuinely cared about our cats and wanted them to feel comfortable and loved. We’re very grateful for her help and would happily have her care for them again.

Rachel did a great job with Leroy. She sent lots of photos and was super communicative while I was gone. She fed him, played with him, cleaned his litter, and took care of cleaning his nails with antiseptic wipes. He was happy and stimulated and I didn’t have to worry about him at all. He’s normally timid with new people but she was very gentle and caring. I will definitely ask her to watch him again!
Caitlin, was fantastic with our cats! They were happy, healthy, and completely relaxed when I got home. It was clear they really engaged with her and felt comfortable around her. Everything went completely smoothly from start to finish. I will definitely be booking her again!

I cannot recommend Tara enough! She was absolutely the best sitter we’ve had for our fur babies! Tara is extremely thorough with her daily reports and made sure the kitties were well taken care of. She was quick to respond whenever I had any questions or concerns and was just so kind! Tara is definitely going to be our new go to sitter!

Carmen is attentive and a great communicator. She provided daily updates and pictures/videos and our travel was so much less stressful knowing our cats were well-cared for. She also goes above and beyond basic pet sitting. For example, our doorknob came loose and she brought her own tools over to tighten it back up. I will definitely book with Carmen again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
