I also provide daily photo and video updates. I treat every dog like family and tailor care to their personality. Your pup’s comfort, safety, and joy are always my top priority. “Renee and Christopher are wonderful. My senior dog loves going to stay with them. They are loving and kind and accommodating to my dog’s eating needs. It is such a relief to know our dog Jeffrey is in good hands when we are away. They provide me with photos and anecdotes throughout the day.”

“Marie was so great with Winston! I could tell he immediately felt comfortable and safe with her! She also sent many updates so I knew how he was doing. I definitely will bring him back, thank you again Marie!”

“Robyn did an amazing job looking after my pup on late notice. She was very caring and took the time to tire my dog out at her favorite park. Robyn’s home was also very comfortable for my dog and seemed to provide a lot of extra space for her to wander around!”

“Emily is THE BEST! She was so good with my little dog Ellie (who can have serious separation anxiety). She sent lots of pictures and updates. I recommend her highly!!”

“Cristina was super kind and responsive! She sent me updates and photos throughout the day and let me know if any issues arose. She was patient with my anxious senior dog and did a great job taking care of him. I definitely recommend her and Ernesto and would love to book them again!”

“Jayern is absolutely amazing with my 6months old rescue puppy, Nube! We don’t know what traumas Nube experienced before rescue, but I’m super grateful for Jayern’s patience with Nube’s anxiety and fears. I truly feel Jayern cares for the pups as if they are hers. I’m also learning how to better manage Nube’s training with Jayern’s guidance. The daily updates and photos are awesome! I’m so pleased Nube has great play mates and is learning good habits with Jayern + the daycare crew :)”

“Matthew was super friendly and welcoming to Dottie. She befriended his two friendly pups as well. Matthew was very communicative and sent lots of pictures sans videos. Much appreciated!!”

“Remo provided an evening of day care for our dog Grover. Remo is outgoing and friendly. Grover appeared to have a good time. Remo shared photos of Grover with us and told us they went on a walk along with spending time in Remo's yard.”
“Cesar and his husband are a dream for owners looking for care! They are accommodating and so warm-hearted. It's like my puppy was just staying with family. They will be on my short list of preferred caregivers.”

“David was great with Kuma! They went on a long walk and David sent us pictures throughout the day. Kumas generally a shy dog but he seemed to warm up by the end of his first visit”

“Vanda was great, she was very patient, kind and caring for my senior dachshund. Gave him massages for his arthritis and cleaned his bedding after an accident. Was very understanding after something held me up at work and had to extend daycare for an hour. Would have her watch him again when we need her again.”

About: Pawfect Stay is your dog’s staycation when you go on vacation. You can feel confident that your dog will be a part of my family when they stay with us. About me 20 year dog mom; ~16 years human mom. I live with my husband and teenage son. I am an airbnb superhost (10 years) and have hosted dogs for 5 years (for friends mostly). I can guarantee that your dog will feel loved during their stay. About Sparky Sparky is a feisty westie. He’s 7 and 1/2 years old. He’s used to being an only fur child at home, but will quickly adapt to a furry guest (human guests are a different matter). During their stay I will take your dog between my homes in sf and napa, where they will hang out as I tend to housekeeping. Your dog will go on at least two daily walks with me and my dog, Sparky. Sometimes we go on outings to the beach or park (where your dog will always be on a leash). I have a fenced yard at both houses. I take dogs for multiple walks per day in the neighborhood or at the park. Your dogs can sleep on the furniture or with us in bed if they enjoy a good cuddle

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glenridge
We left our dog Hazel with Gage while we were passing through town on a road trip. I was a bit nervous to leave her with someone in a new city. However my mind was immediately put at ease when we dropped hazel off and could see how good Gage was with her. He had several other dogs in his care that day and took them all on an adventure to treasure island. he sent lots of pictures and Hazel returned happy and exhausted. I would definitely recommend Gage to anyone looking for a great human with a great pack to play with their dog!

Remo, thank you so much for watching over my dog Dash! Dash had a blast yesterday walking and socializing with other dog in the nature. I am so glad Dash ate all his food and enjoyed walking with his new doggie buddies, . I am very grateful to you for taking care of Dash and showing him a good time. I am sure Dash had lot of fun and excitement for one day! I will definitely book you on other occasions. Also thank you for the lovely pictures of Dash walking with his new buddies that really made my day!

Jennifer is amazing!! She has taken care of Mochi a few times now and Mochi loves hanging out with her. She wags with her whole body and runs up to the gate to meet Jennifer. I was so late today stuck in parade (or protest?) traffic and Jennifer walked her back to my place across the st for drop off. I appreciate her so much accomodating my crazy schedule and unexpected delays!

I just adopted a new dog 3 days ago from the shelter who I learned has very bad separation anxiety. My only option was a dog sitter or doggy day care. Kim was extremely accommodating accepting my request only the night prior. I was nervous about leaving my baby with someone we didn't know but Kim soothed those worries in a heartbeat. She sent updates and pictures throughout their time. She was so sweet and I know Milo was in loving hands. I will definitely book with Kim again!

Marina is amazing with Fig: she gets so excited the moment she sees Marina, and always comes back happy and relaxed. Marina keeps us updated with photos and notes throughout the stay, so we always know how Fig's doing. Highly recommend Marina to anyone looking for a sitter who's attentive, kind, and easy to trust.

Thank you Michael for taking care of my fur baby today!! She had a wonderful day with you walking to Dolores park. The way she was bouncing around at pickup- I can tell she had a much better day with you than I had at work :). We look forward to more rover days if you will have her and those crazy zoomies again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Glenridge commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
