It is never easy leaving your pup in the care of others while away. I strive to provide a 5-star experience for my guests. I work from home with flexible hours, so your pup will enjoy constant companionship with occasional crossword puzzles (unless math is their preferred subject). Your pup's days will be filled with activities, belly rubs and quality conversation at the dinner table. I have 25 years of experience caring for dogs, and 7 of which fostering and training shelter dogs of various age and breed. I help dogs thrive with holistic care and support. My goal is to send my guests home refreshed and pampered.

Julia is lovely and trustworthy, and has a lovely family who provided a happy home for our baby boy while I was traveling. She provided regular photos and updates, and was good about following care instructions. I would love to continue to have her take care of my Frenchie.

Absolutely wonderful! Julia was able to take Roger at the last minute and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. She took him on several fun adventures and made sure he got plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Roger came home happy and tired, the best sign of a great stay! I’m so grateful for the flexibility and care and would absolutely book with Julia again.
Quincy, our 1/2 Great Dane - 1/2 German Shepard, can be a really nervous guy but he did really well with Julia. Thank you for taking such good care of him!
Julia's loving care of her dogs is one of the reasons I was inspired to adopt my dog! I've seen her take excellent care of three different dogs over the past decade. She is knowledgeable, dependable, and has a huge heart for dogs. Anyone looking for a dog sitter would be lucky to have Julia look out for theirs.
Julia is responsible, kind, and reliable. She is devoted to her dog and family. She is great with my Chihuahua, Pom and peeky Pom. She treats them gently and with respect. I integrate pet care into my daily schedule with: *Constant companionship: I work from home with flexible hours, your pet is never left waiting for attention. *Basics: appropriate treats and regularly refreshed water bowls, and a flood of affection. *Tailored Fitness: guaranteed minimum of 2 daily walks, adjusted to your dog's needs (from long, athletic trail walks to short, gentle potty breaks). *Routine preservation: I honor your dog's specific home schedule to prevent any stress or disruption while you are away.

I have a fence in yard. My guests can use the doggie door anytime to access the yard. They can roam free in the house. I have several dog beds in the house and they can lounge in the sun. I am very conscientious about not leaving food or trash out to keep my guests safe. Overall, life in the house is peaceful with outings to engage them physically and mentally. I follow clients' specific instructions and routines to keep my guests comfortable and safe in my care.
A typical day
I visit Fort Funston, Stern Grove, GGPark, and neighborhood parks...etc. I do minimum two walks a day, about 2 hours/day. We can walk, hike, fetch, or just hang out in the sun. Car rides and attending soccer games are part of the weekend activity. Feeding schedule is based on their regular routine. A brief night walk before bed time.
