About: I started my career in veterinary services at 16 by volunteering for a small, non-profit rescue in Los Angeles. Now, I work at an animal hospital in the city and pet-sit for a roster of clients. I specialize in senior animal care, but adore pets of all ages! Our animal hospital is closed from 12-2pm, so I take advantage of this break by attending to any pet-sitting/walking related care. I have odd days off as well, so I am flexible for day-to-day care. I use a trauma-informed, consent-based approach to any animal I interact with. My career involves working with animals who are at their most stressed state, which allows me to understand how to cultivate the absolute most comfortable experience.

About: Hello ! Although I am new to Rover, I've taken care of dogs and cats most of my life and have always had a natural connection with them. When they're in my care I treat them as if they are my own babies. In recent years I have often taken care of my sister's dog Juniper. We have a special bond and she's taught me so much about being a dog aunt :) I helped train her as a puppy and watching her grow up has been a source of so much joy in my life. Many people have observed my warm way with animals especially cats and dogs. I am very attentive and affectionate with them. With that said I also know how to read them and respect their space/needs. I am currently a full time student so I am working mostly gigs. I am attending summer classes through July. I am flexible most of the week including weekends. I am available to dog or cat sit. If your dog or cat has special needs I am able to provide basic support and care. I am also available for dog walking services as well.

About: YO HABLO ESPANOL TAMBIEN...I've had pets since I was a child, first a hamster, then a rat, house finches, more rats, cats, dogs, a tortoise.... When I take care of other people's pets I've been responsible for medications, training and even administering fluids with a bag and needle (I am a California state licensed phlebotomist). I've also fostered puppies, kittens and pregnant cats until they found their forever homes. I've recently moved back to the Bay Area, (as of September 2022). My beautiful Scottish terrier Gadget has passed away and I have lots of love to give your pets. Furthermore, I do not have pets of my own, as I have rehomed my African Sulcata tortoise Donatello and he's doing wonderfully in Washington state. I'm able to give your animals my full attention. I love traveling around the Bay Area and it is a pleasure to come to your home and housesit while you are away. My main priority during my stay is to spend a lot of time with your pets while keeping your home safe and clean.

About: My fear aggressive dog taught me how to deeply care for your dog as well as the skills to keep all types of dogs safe and loved. I have worked with puppies and dog of all temperaments. I love caring for your pups because mine has now passed away. My schedule is really flexible and I can accommodate a dogs unique needs as well as your busy schedule or last minute needs most any day of the week. I live in an apartment with parks near by. There used to be a pup over 100lbs who lived in the apartment. I can accommodate a crate and most dog needs. I don’t have a yard.

I have taken care of many different pets ranging from dogs to cats to bunnies to birds to reptiles. I personally enjoy caring animals for their own comfort and happiness. My main objective for care is making sure pets are comfortable and safe in their low-stress living environment. I also personally train my own pups basic commands. I’m experienced with moderate-high energetic pups to low-energetic seniors. During meet and greets, I will show friendliness to your pup but can be firm if the pup can get too excited. About: Dogs are the light of my life! I've given forever homes to 7 German Shepherds, 2 Poodles and 4 Mixes. I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I trained all of them myself with modernizing the methods as the practices changed over time. In High School I worked for a veterinary clinic washing dogs and administering vaccines as well as meds. I was a teacher for 20 years and am super resourceful. I've always had dogs. For me, life would be empty without them, and I'm one of these crazy people who would do absolutely anything to meet their needs!! You can definitely trust that I'll do everything to give your dog the best!! I LOVE DOGS & CATS!! Not to mention horses, ponies and rabbits! I love to house sit and spend my time with any wonderful canine or animal! They'll be given the absolute best of care and companionship when I'm there 24/7 the rest of the week! I'm a retired teacher of 20 years, in great physical condition, and want to do this full time. I LOVE DOGS AND CATS!! I've always worked in the helping professions as a teacher and behavioral case manager for the homeless. About: I grew up with 4 poodle mixes (maltipoo, cockapoo & other mixes) and was very involved in training them and cared for them as old as 15. I’ve looked after dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages including puppies, senior dogs, and special dietary needs. My dogs are with my parents who moved overseas, so I miss having furry companions around. (If you’re wondering about the gap in reviews, I was traveling for several months but I’ve returned to Marin eager to resume dog sitting!) I work from home and have a job with great balance and flexibility that allows me to take walks and dedicate attention and TLC to your sweet doggo. My girlfriend Amanda lives with me, also works from home and loves dogs so there is plenty of love to go around! I live in a one bedroom condo with plenty of space and a fenced balcony. Your dog will stay with me primarily inside and we will play, go out for walks, and visit the local dog park if desired.

About: I have done about 50+ petsits including 3 farm sits (MY FAVOURITE!) I love hiking, long walks and snuggling at home with the fur babies. I was outside of the US and have met clients outside of the app while traveling, that is why my reviews here are not recent. I can offer recent references from the past few months from my pet sitting clients. ❤️ I am still available to book here. I call the animals I take care of "my babies." I can run outside with the dogs 3 hours per day. I am a homebody and work online, so for me it's heaven to be inside the home with beautiful pets. That is actually my idea of a dreamy day. I would be a great sitter for an animal who wants lots of company or who isn't used to being alone. I can be out less than 2 hours per day if requested. I also respect the space and preferences of animals. I think about making them happy first, not them making me happy. I love long walks and making sure Dogs who need to run off leash, do so. I also love playing games like tug of war and fetch. I'm able to spend several hours per day to play with and excercise the Dogs. I research about each breed before I accept the sit and I now have experience with different breeds. I send photos and videos every day. You may have to tell me when you think it's too much. I filled up a lot of my memory on my phone and solid state drive with the pets I've taken care of, but I can't delete the photos. It's like deleting photos of your kids. Not possible. Excited to hear from you. I sure have enjoyed the love of pets and I hope to be able to continue enjoying caring for pets. Amazingly. I work better when there are pets around. I already prefer to be home. I'm the type of person that reminds myself to go out of the house and be among people. The one thing I am good at is taking walks every day, so that habit also works well when I'm taking care of Dogs who like walks. I could walk a Dog more than their used to even, if the owners thinks it will make them happy. I am used to preparing special foods for Dogs and Cats, being sure animals don't escape. I would say I go into Mommy mode once I'm with the animals. When there are more than two pets in the house, if I snuggle with one, I will then go to snuggle and give attention to the other one. If the other animal loves playing fetch, I may snuggle the animal, then play fetch after. I don't play loud music around the animals. Although I also don't like loud music when I'm alone .
