About: Hello!! I’ve taken care of many different kinds of pets, including my own dogs, rats, frogs, and fish for as long as I can remember! I have several years of experience in caring for and providing pet sitting services for multiple repeat clients. I’m comfortable managing multiple pets at once, administering basic medications, and always prioritize creating a safe, happy, and healthy environment for every animal in my care. I treat each pet like my own and want to make them feel as comfortable and loved as possible while you’re away!! ☺️ I have a flexible, home based schedule and spend most of my day at home working from my computer, so I’m able to give your pets consistent attention, care, and companionship. I’m available for walks, playtime, and check ins throughout the day, and I love using walks and exercise as a break in my routine. I coach lacrosse a few evenings a week, but otherwise I have lots of availability and can easily adjust to your pet’s needs and routine! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I work to ensure that your pet’s boundaries are respected and create a secure and loving environment where they can feel at ease while you’re away. I carefully follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, routines, and behavioral needs. I’m attentive to detail, responsive, and committed to making sure your pet is always safe, supervised, and well cared for.
About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! Let me help your dog get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always happy to customize walks to your dog’s needs and energy level. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! My schedule varies a bit from day to day, but it’s consistent from week to week. I work some mornings and some evenings, but those shifts rarely change, so when you and your pup love me, it will be easy enough to work out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. Also, as my pups are cared for when I’m not around, I am also available to stay at your home for short trips!
“After a last-minute cancellation, I turned to Rover and found Krystal. She was incredibly accommodating on short notice, taking great care of my three noisy Chihuahuas while I was away. She kept me updated with photos and reassured me that they were doing well. I highly recommend her and will be reaching out to Rover & Krystal in the future.”

About: I have extensive experience babysitting for families with children of all ages, which has made me highly responsible, patient, attentive, and great at handling different personalities and routines. I also have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, making me flexible and dependable for walks, drop-ins, or last-minute needs. In addition, my experience working at Starbucks taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate professionally, multitask efficiently, and provide excellent care and service in fast-paced environments. I have a flexible and well-balanced schedule that allows me to consistently make time for pet care throughout the day. I’m usually up early, making mornings great for walks, feedings, or check-ins, and I have availability throughout the afternoon and evenings for longer visits, playtime, exercise, or overnight care. I’m very organized and used to balancing multiple responsibilities, so I’m dependable when it comes to maintaining routines and giving pets consistent attention, care, and companionship. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care by closely following each owner’s instructions, routines, and preferences. Whether I’m caring for pets in a client’s home or taking them on walks, I make sure they feel secure, well-supervised, and given plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and bathroom breaks. I’m attentive to pets’ behavior and needs, keep environments clean and safe, and always communicate with owners through updates and photos so they feel confident their pet is in good hands.

About: I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember and love spending time with animals. I have worked at the humane society taking care of a variety of pets and find a lot of joy in doing so. Growing up, I regularly walked and cared for my own dog throughout San Francisco and later in Larkspur. Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk their dogs, provide pet sitting, and make sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they're away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, and I always strive to give them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, or a reliable sitter, I'll be able to do it! I am currently working a 9-5 during the week. I would be available to walk dogs earlier in the morning or after 6. I am available full time on weekends. I have a fenced yard and one dog who is very kind with other dogs. I love taking care of pets and will love to walk/play with them.
“Cecilia checked in on our cats for a week while we were gone and kept us updated on every visit, how the cats were doing, as well as pictures of them. Everything was great when we returned to happy cats!”

“Kathryn is wonderful. We have appreciated her good humor and patience during the long (but very worthwhile) process of our dog Hildy getting to know a new person. We look forward to working with her going forward.”

About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian, describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. NOTE: I only have experience providing meds to dogs, not cats. I’m allergic to cigarette smoke so that’s my only restriction. I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.

“I can’t recommend Anjali enough! She took amazing care of my cats while I was away, and I could tell right away that she truly love animals. She was reliable, communicative, and even got my more shy cat to fall in love with her. I got regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Definitely my go to cat sitter from now on!”

“Devon was awesome! She took great care of our senior cat and helped make sure the house was taken care of during our trip. She was super responsive and went above and beyond. Highly recommend her for your furry friends.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have owned 3 dogs in my adulthood including two mixed-breed rescues from Milo and a pure-bread yellow lab at 6 weeks. My experience ranges from puppyhood to senior dog care, as well as behavior issues including fear, resource, and leash aggression. I attune to a dog's needs and understand their body language and boundaries. I am responsible, reliable and have a deep love and respect for animals. I am a teacher on summer break, so my schedule is fairly open and flexible aside from occasional travel. I have reliable transportation and can accommodate last minute needs. My services include in-home visits (feedings, medications, playtime, companionship) and walks. I'm able to do a neighborhood walk or drive to a local trailhead for a hike.
“Leyla is very patient with Hana, she spends lots of time during the meet and greet to warm up with her. She took good care for my cat during the visit, would definitely ask her to look after my cat again if needed.”

About: I’ve grew up in a household around many animals! Began caring for pets when I was 4. I have owned and sat many different types of cats and dogs! I truly love caring for them! I care for pets in my free time! I usually can go attend to the pets first thing in the morning, then do some work, take the dogs for walks in afternoon, work some more then feed and give more potty breaks, then work and do one more break before bed. I put the care and focus on the dog/cat, your pet and I will enjoy playing, snuggling sometimes, petting, and a little treat. I will give them a relaxing time with nothing to worry about till you get back!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats and have been caring for pets of friends and family for many years. For over 2 years in the U.S., I’ve been doing house sitting and dog walking, and I truly value the trust owners place in me when they leave their home and pets in my care. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, from small companion dogs to large, active breeds, as well as mixed breeds. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, walks, and individual personalities. I understand how important it is for pets to feel calm, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m very mindful of cleanliness, order, and respecting the home as if it were my own. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and building a calm, trusting connection with them❤️ My goal is to build a trusting connection where both pets and owners feel relaxed and confident. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I study remotely with a flexible schedule, so when I pet sit at a client’s home, I get to spend most of my time with my furry companions😌 I play with dogs, I can teach new commands if you want, I walk them with full attention to them, I love to feed them and give all useful needed treats, usually I also brush them and try to give them what they use to have with their owners. We can go to dog park if they like it or vise versa to walk avoiding connection with other dogs if it needs. I can give them their medication in specific time) And of course I love them, I think that it’s very important for dogs as for people. My behavior is different with all dogs, because all of them have their own character and favorite/unloved things and their safety and comfort are on the first place for me.
“Jackie care for our shy cat, Mick, over the Thanksgiving break. She did an exceptional job. Communication was frequently and clear and service provided went above and beyond! Will 100% work with Jackie again!”

Anne was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our cats, and we came home to two very happy, relaxed kitties. She was incredibly sweet, reliable, and communicative throughout our trip, sending plenty of thoughtful updates and photos that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was such a relief knowing they were in such caring hands. We would happily book Anne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!

Veronica was an amazing cat sitter for my boys! Her communication was excellent from start to finish—she kept us updated regularly and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was clear she truly paid attention to our cat’s specific needs and preferences, which meant so much to us. She even went the extra mile to pick up some packages and deal with unexpectedly running out of their food. On top of that, she was kind and gentle with our cats and gave great daily updates. We would absolutely trust her to care for them again and highly recommend her services!

Genna was amazing! She took great care of my cat Nutella. She brushed her, played with her, fed her and gave her lots of love. She offered to meet before and noted down everything on Nutella routine. Also a bird got into the apartment and Nutella killed it, and Genna took care of everything, even vacuumed. Genna was amazing, I highly recommend her

Claire did a great job taking care of my cat (Kermit) while I went away for 10 days over the holidays. She showed up every morning to give him his wet food, clean his litter box, play with him and give him a few pets. Kermit was in good shape and spirits when I returned. Definitely recommend and would book with her again!

Sue did an excellent job caring for my two cats while I was away for 2 days. She came twice a day to feed them and take of litter box duty. She sent great photos from each visit that illustrated the trust the cats developed in her during this short while. This was especially noteworthy because one of my two cats is very shy and cautious around new people. She played with them each visit either an interactive wand/feather toy, much to the delight of the shy cat in particular. Sue has excellent communication skills. I had a very good conversation with her prior to the sit that led me to believe she’d be a good fit for caring for my cats. I’d love to have her return in the future when I need short-term cat care again.

Amber is an excellent cat sitter. She is responsible, on time, and got along great with my cat Jimi. I was very careful in selecting someone to take care of my cat and am happy to have chosen Amber. I'm planning to hire her again the next time I go out of town.

Sarah did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of my cat while I was away! She followed all of the instructions I left perfectly and made sure to provide prompt, helpful updates that gave me peace of mind the entire time. On top of everything, she went above and beyond by bringing in packages that were delivered — such a kind and considerate gesture. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and would definitely book with Sarah again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
