About: Dogs are the light of my life! I've given forever homes to 7 German Shepherds, 2 Poodles and 4 Mixes. I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I trained all of them myself with modernizing the methods as the practices changed over time. In High School I worked for a veterinary clinic washing dogs and administering vaccines as well as meds. I was a teacher for 20 years and am super resourceful. I've always had dogs. For me, life would be empty without them, and I'm one of these crazy people who would do absolutely anything to meet their needs!! You can definitely trust that I'll do everything to give your dog the best!! I LOVE DOGS & CATS!! Not to mention horses, ponies and rabbits! I love to house sit and spend my time with any wonderful canine or animal! They'll be given the absolute best of care and companionship when I'm there 24/7 the rest of the week! I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. NOTE: I only have experience providing meds to dogs, not cats.
