About: Hi! I've had pets my whole life, up until moving to SF and I know how to love and care for pets big and small! I have experience walking and watching cats, dogs, small mammals, and reptiles. I've walked dogs as large as a German Shepherd and as tiny as a Chihuahua. I am often complimented that the pups I take on walks come back looking relaxed, happy, and if they're young they come back listening to commands better. I work with dogs on pulling and use mindful energetic reinforcement to work on any bad habits the pet parent wants support with. : ) If you’re interested in boarding a pet, I have a gentle golden retriever and a Siamese cat who basically thinks he’s a dog. They are both friendly with any animal. Your pet will have some friends to play with! If they’re not in a playful mood my home is large enough to create separation. I work fully remote and often find myself with a lot of free time in the day. So what else would be a nice treat than to care for an animal! For dog sitting care that is done in the pet parent home I ensure that I understand and follow any instructions you have for arrival, food, water, crating, and locking up. For day care (no overnight) I have my own personal office in downtown. If the pet isn't super hyper active they can stay with me in my office and I can take them out for walks periodically throughout the day along Embarcadero. For boarding I have my home in the East Bay with a dog run on the side, a fenced in backyard with grass. There are dog parks and walking trails 5-10 minute drive from the house.

About: Dogs are the light of my life! I've given forever homes to 7 German Shepherds, 2 Poodles and 4 Mixes. I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I've always worked in the helping professions as a teacher and behavioral case manager for the homeless. Now I want to do what means the most to me....spend my time with animals and give them the best experience possible!! Number 1, follow the directions of the client relative to their animals. Number 2, be respectful of their environment. Number 3, do all the extras possible for the animals including companionship. Number 4, leave the house as nice as it was on my arrival date.

About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian—describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. NOTE: I only have experience providing meds to dogs, not cats. Due to allergies, I’m unable to sit in homes with cigarette smoke or with whole house carpeting (in bedrooms is fine). I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.

About: Growing up, I was the main caretaker for my Shih Tzu for most of my childhood and teenage years until she passed at 13 a few years ago. I have cat sat for friends and now regularly care for my boyfriend’s two large English Labradors whom I love with my whole heart. I am currently a full time college student and a part time worker, however I have free weekends and tend to have free weekdays after 2 pm. About: Hello, I’m currently studying to become a veterinarian. Since I was a kid, I’ve always been surrounded by cats, dogs, and even birds. I do not shy away from any animal and feel a connection between them and nature. I understand the patience, time, and love a pet requires. I treat all pets with the same care and love as my own. I love going on walks, especially in a forested area. I love going on hikes, I believe reconnecting with nature is important for not only myself, but pets as well. About: My animal care experience started with my first dog foster at 18. In the past 18 years I have worked as a zookeeper before transitioning to Veterinary Medicine. I was a kennel tech, then Veterinary Assistant before earning my Registered Veterinary Technician License. My skills include dog walking, cat socializing, administering medications (oral, transdermal, injectable), nail trimming and positive reinforcement. I also have experience performing health exams, giving vaccinations, surgery prep and monitoring anesthesia. About: I have been a pet parent to a yellow lab named Sasha. During her lifetime, we went on many hikes, many swim adventures and had lots of snuggle time. I miss her dearly, so to help with that I was a volunteer at Guide Dogs for the Blind. I love both dogs and cats and have been asked by friends and family alike to care for their precious pets. I can provide one on one dog walks as well as potty breaks and cat visits. I've been doing this for 10 years plus. My daily schedule is flexible and I have the capability to fit my schedule around whatever your needs are. I am also happy to make any last-minute changes that a client may have. I make sure that I know each pets veterinary care phone number in case of an emergency. As well, I always make sure the areas that I plan to walk with dogs have a clear path and therefore hopefully free of ticks. When cat sitting or doing drop ins for cat owners I make sure that I have all veterinary and emergency contact info. as well.

About: I have been around animals for my entire life. Recently, my weimaraner dog, Jagger, passed away at 11. He was my everything, something I am sure you, the reader, can relate to. Since his passing, I have had the opportunity to care for a house of anywhere between 5 - 19 weimaraners for intermittent walkings, overnights, and multi-day stays. It is safe to say that I am the happiest when I am around animals, and that experience helped me realize that I really enjoy pet-sitting. I have taken care of a range of ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. Weimaraners are also somewhat known for not having the greatest behavior, so if your dog matches that quality, I am okay with that!
