About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! I work some mornings and some evenings, but those shifts rarely change, so when you and your pup love me, it will be easy enough to work out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. Also, as my pups are cared for when I’m not around, I am also available to stay at your home for short trips!

I work remote east coast hours so my schedule is very flexible and I am up bright and early. I’m a very active individual and make an effort to be outside as much as possible. I have very few meetings since my work is more project based so it’s so nice to have a buddy to be my shadow or to cuddle with during breaks!! About: I’ve worked with many different animals, including cats, dogs, birds, hamsters. I love working and caring for them. Patience is needed to make your furry friends feel comfortable. I’ve worked with many large dog breeds, which include malamutes, German shepherds, pitbulls and even Akita’s. I’m currently work during the day so I am free most evenings Sunday through Thursday. I have more availability on Fridays and Saturdays during the day. I make sure the pets are in safe areas for them so that they don’t get into anything that isn’t safe. I make sure to give them space but follow them just in case. I want them feel comfortable in their space.

About: I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember and love spending time with animals. I have worked at the humane society taking care of a variety of pets and find a lot of joy in doing so. Growing up, I regularly walked and cared for my own dog throughout San Francisco and later in Larkspur. For over 2 years in the U.S., I’ve been doing house sitting and dog walking, and I truly value the trust owners place in me when they leave their home and pets in my care. I study remotely with a flexible schedule, so when I pet sit at a client’s home, I get to spend most of my time with my furry companions😌 I play with dogs, I can teach new commands if you want, I walk them with full attention to them, I love to feed them and give all useful needed treats, usually I also brush them and try to give them what they use to have with their owners. We can go to dog park if they like it or vise versa to walk avoiding connection with other dogs if it needs. I can give them their medication in specific time) And of course I love them, I think that it’s very important for dogs as for people. My behavior is different with all dogs, because all of them have their own character and favorite/unloved things and their safety and comfort are on the first place for me.

About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian—describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. NOTE: I only have experience providing meds to dogs, not cats. Due to allergies, I’m unable to sit in homes with cigarette smoke or with whole house carpeting (in bedrooms is fine). I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.
