“Stephanie took great care of my two cats while I was away! I felt so reassured having such a kind and caring sitter who clearly loves animals and took a great deal of time and effort with my cats to make sure that they were safe and happy. I really appreciated the level of detail in each visit recap, photos, and actively updating me on their behavior/mood during her drop-ins. Could not ask for a better experience, to set my mind at ease so I could have a great trip. Thank you Stephanie! 🐈⬛🖤”

“Trisha cared for our elderly (but spunky!) cat while we were traveling. She was communicative, caring, and super friendly. Perfect mix of following instructions and taking initiative where needed. I’m so grateful that we found someone to care for Kitty when we’re away! Will definitely book Trisha again, and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Anne was great. Excellent communication. She dropped in and spent time with our cat, Buddy, everyday. She also made sure he had food and water and even checked our mail for us. Overall, Anne was very dependable and exactly what we (and Buddy) needed.”

About: I've been in the pet care field for nearly a decade and a pet parent for more than 12 years. My senior dog has taught me a lot about her needs as she aged. So I understand that it isn't just about the walk but about patience & companionship, too. I also care for feline friends at their homes while their families are away. I look forward to a fun walk with your dog in the neighborhood or on local outings as well as for your cat's meals, litter box and play. Where I live there is an enclosed deck with plenty of toys where we can play and take a break together. There's also AC indoors when it's too hot outside. If a medicated pill or tablet is needed, I can administer that with a pill pocket or other snack but I will not administer injected medications or fluids.
“Alaina took excellent care of my two cats. Despite being greeted with crickets and occasionally a fleeing boy cat, she dutifully cared for ghosts. My cats were happy, well fed, and cared for when I came home. I think if she had another few days with them they’d be out with her!”

“Layla did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She even cleaned up a flower vase that my cat knocked over. Everything looked really clean when I got back. I would definitely book her again.”

“So grateful! This was my first time using Rover and I am thrilled with the match. Kathryn was awesome and took great care of our kitten. Our kitten was happy and very relaxed and this made for an easy transition. Kathryn kept us up to date with sweet pics which made it even easier to enjoy the trip and not worry at all about a thing. Kathryn also took wonderful care of our house. She even noticed some of our plants needed water and offered to take care of that. Very much looking forward to working with Kathryn again and Peanut has made a fast new friend.”

“Natalie has been amazing with our 4-month old pup! She’s been coming regularly to walk/play/feed him, and is super responsive, reliable, always updates me, and most importantly, our puppy loves Natalie! She’s also brought her dog with her (after asking me if it was ok, which I gladly said yes to!), and her dog has also been great with my puppy and helps tire him out:) would highly recommend.”

“Susan and our cats had a great time while we were away! They felt right at home with her. She left us thoughtful notes and pictures that gave us a great feel for what was going on while we were gone. We would recommend Susan to any cat owner. Thank you!”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise
“Olivia took care of my sweet 16-year-old cat for a few days while I was out of town. It was my first time leaving him with a sitter since he was diagnosed with diabetes (and stage 2 kidney disease) and I was a bit nervous at first. But Olivia came by for a meet-and-greet and put me at ease with her obvious comfort with cats, and particularly her experience taking care of diabetic cats and injecting insulin. While I was away she sent thorough updates and it was clear that my cat was well taken care of, and that his insulin and pills were being administered as expected. After my trip, I came home to a happy cat and Olivia immediately arranged to come by and drop off the keys. I will definitely try to book Olivia again the next time I need a sitter for my special-needs cat.”
“Caroline was on time for all visits and sent lots of photos! She made sure my cat was comfortable in the heat by adjusting windows and fans. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: "I’ve always had a special connection with cats, especially senior ones. I have years of experience caring for my own senior cat, making sure she’s comfortable, happy, and well-loved. I’ve also helped friends care for their cats—feeding, playing, giving medication when needed, and providing lots of affection and attention. I understand that every cat has their own personality and needs, and I take pride in giving them the care and patience they deserve." I am a retired esthetician and also a fused glass artist I am now able to spend my free time taking care of cats . I take great pride in caring for cats both in my own home and for others. I’ve looked after cats of all ages and personalities — from energetic kittens to senior cats who need extra gentleness and attention. When cats stay with me, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable, keeping their routines as consistent as possible. When I visit cats in their own homes, I treat their space with the same care and respect as if it were my own. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, grooming, or just quiet companionship, I always make sure every cat gets the affection and care they deserve.”
About: Since I was a kid, dogs have always been a part of my life growing up. My friends and family have relied on me to be there for their own fur babies whether they needed anything from a walk, bath or just lots of loving! I am unemployed at the moment and have a very flexible schedule during the week. At the moment I cannot do boarding but my plans might change in the future. My number one priority is making sure your pet is happy and safe at home. I am always willing to be accommodating based on their home environment.
“Elena was responsible, caring and kept us updated through her stay with our cat Jedi. In addition, when we came home, our house was immaculate condition, better than when we left it. I’d highly recommend Elena and we will be re booking her for future cat sitting jobs.”

“Leonard dropped in to check in our cat while we were away for the weekend. He was very communicative, provide photos and made sure to spend time playing with our girl :) he also helped out while we were away by bringing in packages and taking care of garbage day. We plan to use Leonard again for help with our pets!”
“Devon was so great with my cat Peanut and helped me out when my other sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very prompt with her responses, came on time to feed Peanut, and sent the cutest updates and photos! Felt super comfortable leaving Peanut in her care and would definitely recommend her services! Thank you!!”

“Audrey did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. She had great communication and follow through on everything that we agreed needed to be done. I would be happy to hire her again.”
