About: I grew up with my Australian Shepherd, who was part of my family my entire life, and I helped care for her throughout her senior years. I now have my own cat, Emerald, and my family recently welcomed a terrier puppy named Edna. I also have experience caring for friends’ cats, as well as a neighbor’s and family friend’s Chihuahua and a family’s Golden Retriever. About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian—describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. NOTE: I only have experience providing meds to dogs, not cats. Due to allergies, I’m unable to sit in homes with cigarette smoke or with whole house carpeting (in bedrooms is fine). I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.
About: I have been watching my sisters and neighbors fur babies for years. They rely on me when they travel for work or go on vacation. I have watched multiple cats and dogs as well as administered a hydration IV for a senior cat. I am loving and kind and will treat your fur babies like my own. I have a tuxedo kitty named Tucker and an Australian Shepherd named Harley, I will always make time for playtime and extra snuggles and pets. I’m currently not working so my schedule is very flexible and open. I can come at a time that is best for you. If you need a consistent schedule, I am able to do that. Our dog Harley is crated trained and plays indoors and outdoors in our fenced backyard.. She is walked on a leash daily and I check for ticks and foxtails after each walk. I completely puppy proofed the house when we adopted her. Tucker is an indoor cat and I keep up on his brushing to reduce his fur balls. I put his feather wand up high when I’m not at home so it’s safer for him. I play with him every day with the feather wand to get exercise and interaction. I know which flowers are not good for pets so we do not bring those into our home.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Parker was absolutely wonderful! He took such great care of our two cats, Ahsoka and Anakin, while we were away. He didn’t just make sure they were fed—he spent time playing with them, gave them their snacks, kept everything clean and cared for, and truly made us feel like our pet babies were in great hands. When we arrived home, we could tell immediately that Ahsoka and Anakin had been happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. Our home was also left in wonderful condition, which we really appreciated. There is such a sense of relief that comes with being able to travel and know that the pets you love so much are safe, happy, and being genuinely cared for. Parker gave us exactly that peace of mind. We are so grateful to him and will absolutely book with Parker every time he is available. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Lu is such an amazing pet sitter. My cat Cabbage has kidney issues and had urinary blockage before. She checks the litter box and communicates with me daily to make sure everything is normal. Cabbage is usually very shy with new people. However Lu has been very patient and she managed to get familiar with my cat very quickly. Lu took care of Cabbage very well while I am away. I highly recommend Lu!
