I grew up around a herd of Aussies and a cluster of cats whom my mom couldn't refuse! :) I am Mom to 2 Himalayan cats who are my heart ❤️ I started pet-sitting when I was about 12. I have volunteer experience working at a museum for exotics, and I used to work at a boarding kennel for cats and dogs. I supervised large groups of various breeds (dogs/cats) during playtime! Prior to working for Rover, I was a dog-walker/pet-sitter for 7 years for Metro-Pet; (located in Dallas, TX). I regularly pet-sat for client's in their homes, when they were on vacation. Sometimes just drop-in visits, or walks, or both!! Many years ago, I was a Foster Mom for a Golden Retriever who stole my heart! I was a Corgi Mom for almost 9-years. I trained that sweet boy as a puppy. He was a senior before he passed, so I do have puppy as well as senior dog experience. I have experience with special needs dogs, as well as I am experienced with administering meds or injections if needed. I love going on walks with the doggies! I love cats just as much. I am currently fully available for drop-in-visits, or walks for cats and dogs! After the 21st of September 2026, I begin a FT job, and would only be available Friday-Sun. I clean up after myself and leave the home looking as it did when I got there.

About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). Trisha was fantastic. She took such good care of our cats while we were away. Every day, in addition to feeding, water, and litter, she played with and snuggled them. She even helped us with watering my daughter’s herb garden. Trisha also sent detailed notes and pictures. We could tell they were happy and well-cared for when we returned.
