I grew up around a herd of Aussies and a cluster of cats whom my mom couldn't refuse! :) I am Mom to 2 Himalayan cats who are my heart ❤️ I started pet-sitting when I was about 12. I have volunteer experience working at a museum for exotics, and I used to work at a boarding kennel for cats and dogs. I supervised large groups of various breeds (dogs/cats) during playtime! Prior to working for Rover, I was a dog-walker/pet-sitter for 7 years for Metro-Pet; (located in Dallas, TX). I regularly pet-sat for client's in their homes, when they were on vacation. Sometimes just drop-in visits, or walks, or both!! Many years ago, I was a Foster Mom for a Golden Retriever who stole my heart! I was a Corgi Mom for almost 9-years. I trained that sweet boy as a puppy. He was a senior before he passed, so I do have puppy as well as senior dog experience. I have experience with special needs dogs, as well as I am experienced with administering meds or injections if needed. I love going on walks with the doggies! I love cats just as much.

I will treat your animals as I would my own. With lots of patience and affection and snuggles ☺️ I am highly respectful of my clients homes. I am an extremely trustworthy and responsible person. I clean up after myself and leave the home looking as it did when I got there.

Tara went above and beyond caring for the tummy issues my pups experienced while I was gone. She asked permission to do laundry, cleaned up after herself and the dogs.

I highly recommend Tara. She took care of our dog Whiskey. She is amazing with dogs. Whiskey was so excited to see her and he loved his walks. She cares for your dog like it is her own. She goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is taken care of.
Tara was an absolutely wonderful house-sitter and my Mika, who is blind, really responded to her well. Tara was so interactive with Mika and handled her special needs. Our house was left in excellent condition and Mika was clearly well-loved and cared for!

Schedule
My only source of income right now is being a doordasher. Doordashing is done on your own time, whenever it fits into your schedule. It is very flexible. I am currently available for dog (or cat!:) walks, as well as drop-in visits for any animal.
Prices include all fees.
